[David starts up the video feed and stacks of paper can be seen beside him as he's sitting in the Guardian's Office. He’s been pulling all-nighters for the last few weeks, but he’s finally reached the mountain top of paperwork. Though a Guardians work is never really done.]

With everything that has happened, I’ve yet to have a chance to say this. But thank you to everyone that helped not only defend Genessia City, but every other city during the breach. Even if you only helped people get to the safe houses, I still want to extend my gratitude to you and I hope all of you got through it okay.

All things considered, just like last time, we’ve learned more about this place because of this situation. Though, ideally we could discover more about this place without it taking some massive event for more information to be discovered.

A small word of warning too. Given how many of the creatures from outside made their way inside, some could possibly still linger around. I plan to make some rounds through the cities for the next couple of weeks to check, if anyone wants to join, they are more than welcomed to. If anyone happens to spot any while they happen to be out, please report it.

[Someone is one of the few that doesn't appear sleepy or tired after all of that. Ten simply gives a head nod]

[And yet - doesn't seem sleepy at all. Such as using the ghost setting on his sonic or using vibrations to have them chase Ten into the Bay where they drowned]

Whut was found out?

There was an information gather effort deployed when the barrier came down. This is just a private conversation between me and you because I want the one that ran the experiment to announce his results to the public himself.

Outside of the barrier is a wasteland, though the atmosphere is livable. It's also believed that those creatures roaming around are perhaps the form residents of this world. And not only that, there are so many more of them out there than we initially believed.

[Ten listens intently and doesn't enjoy what he's hearing - at all. If anything hearing there's a wasteland outside only makes this place sound like some zoo or a colony where you're not suppose to leave. Almost like there was a colony here and something happened - some infection of some sort;

Or if no one leaves - maybe that's what happens if you try...]

Disturbing, isn't it? For as good as everything looks inside of the barrier, it is not at all the same outside of it. And we don't even have a remote idea on what could have been the cause of it becoming that way. At least nothing completely concrete.

[Utupio doesn't exist. Gallifrey looked lovely to gaze at but had a lot of problems]

No. Nothing concrete.

[And without his time sight - Ten can't see what has happened here and glares his teeth in frustration on how that part of him is lost]

Does anyone know why guardians are required?

I don't think they are necessarily required. But Guardians are supposed to protect the city and its people. There are some people that are brought here that don't really care about the circumstances and just want to hurt people, be it for fun or some other reason. I think most any of us that have become Guardians would protect this place from people like that regardless of the title.

[Ten gives a head nod and a slight frown at the comment about there are individuals that could or are here that would just want to harm others. There's a very silver lining smile on his lips. Which disappears and unfortunately states]

Don't jump too ahead. Title is important more to some individuals. I can't speak for those here, however.

[There's a smile of hope now] But I do like to that is the case here.

Oh, I know that. Title is all some people really care about. But I've known a lot of people that will do good in the world, regardless of how they are labeled or viewed or what their status is.

[Ten gives a smile back and noble sparkles in his eyes; yes, very true]
