[ It's not like Lucy was deliberately avoiding people. Far from it, actually - she left word at the guild that she was heading out (alone for a change) and was heading down to the lake not far from the guild. So it wasn't like she was against company. She welcomed it. She just needed some air. Her sleep the previous night was surprisingly restless, and that she supposed was due to the strange dream she had. So, armed with a few books (one or two romance novels, and a detective novel), she trotted out to settle down by the lake. If it was just the dream on her mind it was one thing, but there was a certain salmon haired Dragonslayer dominating her thoughts too. When she realized she'd read the same page where the hero and the heroine were sharing a romantic first kiss, she had to half close the book, turning to watch the lake instead. Aheh. ]


[OOC: Open for anyone to come across her either while she might be out for a walk in the other districts or when she'll be relaxing in Fayren near the lake. ]

[Blake is no stranger to this lake. Most of her income still comes from monster-hunting jobs in Fayren, and trips to Vale to restock on Dust it's become a regular place to find some peace and quiet. It's usually fairly secluded too, so it's a surprise to find it already occupied, albeit not necessarily an unwelcome one.]

I guess it's no surprise that you've found this place as well.

[ Lucy and her friends had most of their income come in from monster hunting jobs too - or ones that they picked from the paper or newsletter. She almost welcomed something nice and distracting like that actually. Hearing the voice of her book-loving friend, Lucy cast a quick, tired smile her way. ]

Blake, hey. I hope you don't mind - I ... it's not far from the guild, and I just wanted to get a little peace before heading back. You come to this part of Fayren a lot?

[Which she's very well aware of since it's become a little more difficult finding well-paying jobs with Fairy Tail active in the same field. But a little competition wasn't a bad thing, and it gave her good reason to keep her skills sharp since the monsters themselves rarely proved to be a huge challenge.]

Of course not, I can't very well lay claim to an entire lake for myself.

[She approaches the edge of the water in her usual soundless way, glancing over and noting the tired look on Lucy's face and the book in her hands.]

... Usually when I'm also looking for a little quiet as well. Don't let me interrupt you.

[Because if anybody understands how frustrating it can be to find yourself in a sudden conversation when you're trying to read, it's Blake.]

[ If it helps, they do occasionally take jobs outside of Fayren. Lucy chuckled lightly. ]

No, I guess you can't. [ But her she gave the other girl a welcoming grin, shaking her head and putting the book to the side. ]

No, it's all right. I don't mind a little company right now. [ Besides, Blake was quiet too. ]

Have a seat. How have you been resettling in?

[It does help a little bit. To the point where Blake hasn't had to make any downgrades to her lifestyle or anything, at least.]

[She returns Lucy's grin with one of her trademark faint smiles as she sits on the shoreline a short distance away.]

Well, Yang and I needed to revisit our discussion about how many boy band posters are appropriate for the walls but I haven't had any problems otherwise.

[She gives a short glance back in the direction of the guild hall.]

Mostly, it's been a matter of catching up. I understand that a lot more people have arrived since I've been away.

[The lake looks lovely, isn't it? Continue watching it for now, Lucy, until a form made of water gradually emerges from near the shore.

This form slowly begins to mold into that of a young woman she knows very well.]

[She doesn't smile in greeting, though. Just gives Lucy a flat stare as she fully emerges out of the lake.]

Juvia comes in peace. Juvia will not drown you as per Gray-sama's orders. [Then, she looks away and blushes a little. Tsuns.] And because Juvia and Lucy are still nakama.

[ Oh dear. That flat stare made her a little worried. No, a lot worried. Until she spoke. She let out a silent sigh of relief, smiling warmly at the tsuntsun water mage. ]

[Without much of a word, Juvia actually sits beside Lucy and joins her. She does notice the journal but doesn't pick it up for now.]

[ Ishtar's in the same boat with all the things going on. She's not feeling very lively herself and she happens to be passing by the blond haired girl she remembered from that one pool party that happened. She didn't remember the outcomes but was pretty ... well interesting. ]

[ She replied giving the girl small smile and yes, well Ishtar could tell obviously after all that happened in the pool. Man was that a disaster. ]

[he spotted her out by the lake, and it didn't take long for battler to come over to her. she seemed to be down about something or another... and of course, battler wasn't in very high spirits as well.]

[he called out to her once he was close enough. he put his hands in his pockets after he came to a stop while he stared down at her.]

[ Lucy looked up, wiping away her expression for a curious one. ]

[ She's going to completely disregard whatever is bothering her and focus on Battler. Because that's how she rolls. ]

[ There, from behind a (still living) tree! Looks like someone found the lake he hangs out at, meaning he'll be needing another one, soon. Zeref emerged, and carefully approaches the blonde Celestial Spirit mage, completely ignoring whatever it is she's reading. He actually looks like he hasn't been sleeping well, either; who knows, maybe soon one of his dreams will be share-able. Spoiler alert, it will be. ]

I was hoping that I could find you. I haven't been able to find Erza, and I'm not sure if Mavis has told you or the others yet.

[ He takes a seat, kneeling down next to Lucy, folding his hands in his lap. ]

Someone arrived in this world, not long after Mavis did. I felt you and the rest of Fairy Tail had the right to know, just in case the situation gets worse.

[ It's not like she's at the lake 24/7 Zeref, jeez~! Hearing her friend's voice, she closed the book and glanced up with a smile. ]

Hrm? Erza's out on a mission the past few days, but.. what do you mean? [ Mavis may have gotten distracted! Though it had been only a day, since then so. She probably was telling the others. ]

[ Zeref is quiet for a few seconds, trying to figure out how he can say this. He doesn't want this to turn into another fight, because this time, Zeref would be expected to take sides, which would most definitely distract him from his own goal in this world. Besides... Mavis is here. And it's a miracle that she doesn't remember their last conversation. ]

A member of Tartarus' Nine Demon Gates arrived in this world. [ Zeref cuts right to the chase. ] His name is Silver, known as 'Absolute Zero.' An Ice Devil Slayer. [ Yes, that Ice Devil Slayer. ] Before you get too worried, though, he's not nearly as violent as Jackal, but he's no less dangerous when angered. I don't think you have much to worry about from him, but as we've seen before in Exsilium, when one member of a guild appears, it's possible that others will follow.

[ Lucy tilts her head, watching Zeref as he put his words together. She'd tell him he didn't have to take sides though. No one was forcing him to - If he didn't want to fight, he could remain neutral. ]

[ Brown eyes widen slightly, her body tensing at mention of the other member of Tartarus showing up. Even though he says there's noting for them to worry about, she can't help but worry a LITTLE. At least she knows he'll tell them if others show up. ]

When did he arrive?

It's difficult to say. [ Silver just kinda walked up to him. It could have been the same day, it could have been weeks. Silver didn't exactly announce his presence over the network (with good reason), like most everyone else did. ]

As far as Tartarus goes, the news could be a lot worse than Silver. I will try to prevent fighting as long as I can, but regardless of whether or not I created them, my influence only goes so far.
