Video; Important questions okay

[While most everyone seems to be suffering from the heatwave, Dorian seems less than annoyed by it all when the feed initializes. Now, he's not wearing his robes, and his dark shoulders prove he's wearing an outfit without sleeves, but he seems perfectly comfortable, more so than usual, one could say.

He looks rather pleased with himself, also, and while most of his surroundings aren't in view, it's plain the device is nestled on a desk surrounded by very untidy notes in a flowing hand and that said desk is surrounded by bookshelves that are equally in a state of disarray. No one every accused Dorian of being an orderly worker.

Hello, Genessia! You know, all this talk of a heatwave, and all the lamentation thereof, have gotten me thinking about weather. I know, I know. It's the topic of bores and the unenlightened, something to fill the void at an awkward social gathering, what have you. But, the reason I bring it up is simple: this weather is much more similar to my homeland, which, coincidentally, is in the north of the land from which I hail.

[He folds his hands in front of him on the desk, leaning forward slightly in interest.]

What I would like to know is this: is warmer weather where you come from associated with the north...or the south? Call it a research project.

There are many factors. The weather of a planet is greatly caused by their proximinity -or lack of it- towards a star, because of their rotational axis, the composition of the atmosphere, etc.

Yes? Also called a Sun? Kind important to have around to help life survive, you know.

[Oh there can be more than one, Tattoine has two, but that actually makes living near them harder.]

Heh, probably. I traveled across the Galaxy so in that regard I have advantage. Ialso have data of many star charts and maps if you want to see it.

Yes. A pretty big one but not as big as a red hypergiant. [Yeahhhh...Kay's starting to realize that.] Sorry, I suppose all this is very new to you. I traveled around space, that is normal for people in my Galaxy.

Don't worry, I can explain it all in detail.
k2so: Credit if you want to use them. Tnxs (Congratulations you are being rescued)

I don't need to sleep so it's not a bad time for me. But you should rest, we can meet at any other time.

The second. There are many kinds of stars, from Protostars to Supergiants. In essence, all of them are big balls of gas.

I got it, no worries. And there are others things out there almost as fascinating as Stars if no more. When a stars die, after a long, long time, they do so in a massive explosion called a Supernova. For something that means the end, it's truly beautiful.

I'm always valuable unless I'm working at the Velvet Lust, feel free to contact my personal inbox anytime you want.

I'd argue that it depends entirely on the circumstances of the death. For Rebels, it's never very pretty. I was killed in my world, it was anything but beautiful. Then again, I'm biased. [And so is Dorian, given that he likes necromancy, but Kay won't judge.] It is but you really want to look at if from a distance.

I am part of security, I stay outside of the bar a lot so that might be why we haven't seen each other all that often. I'll keep it in mind, thank you.

Maybe we should leave it for another occasion. One where it's not so late at night...or so early in the morning. [It's all a matter of perspective.]

Indeed. I'll tell you more in the future, promise.
