Alright... I'm pretty sure it's normal for folks to have the 'what the hell' reaction upon arriving here. I mean, no offence to Weise, or how ever you pronounce your name, sorry. But no offense, being told I was kidnapped in a cheerful voice doesn't fix the fact that I'm not exactly okay with this.

Is there anyone I can actually talk to, not just a hologram, that can... maybe give me some more answers? I read everything, and I get that I need the necklace...

[She holds up her red necklace, then the manila envelope.]

And that the money helps but... I've still got questions like the how, and why and general what the hell is going on. If anyone's willing to chat with me, I'd be grateful. I do good over electronics, but seeing someone in person wouldn't be too upsetting really.

I kind of really need to be back home. I'm trying to find my brother... who got taken away. And I have friends who need me there. That's... why it's so upsetting.

Oddly there are still fewer cases of arson now that there's some explanation instead of the flyers from before I came along that said "DON'T PANIC" as their primary piece of advice, so no offense taken.

It's fine. I have thicker skin than to get offended just because someone's questioning why there wasn't a parade of people to welcome them, and I was there before once. Though admittedly, I had more people here I knew than most.

Well, is there any information on who brought me here, or why? I'm guessing the 'how to get home' part hasn't been figured out yet, or people with issues about being here wouldn't still be around.

Well it probably would be hoping too much for someone to know that information. I would like to hear if this place functions as described in the pamphlet and hologram, or if that is an idealistic view of this place.

[She was going to have to resist the urge to figure out how he worked, because he was clearly at least an advanced AI, which she considered a living person.]

Normally I would suggest in person, but I get itchy fingers around technology, and don't want to offend you by trying to figure out how you work.

I just recently arrived here myself. But a lot of what these people have told us upon arrival is not exactly accurate. I don't fully understand how I arrived here myself...just taking it by stride now. If you want to meet in person, I can try and answer questions or help you find a place to stay at. Yeah, you and me both! Would be nice to know what's even the connection between who gets kidnapped and all. I still kinda am feeling my way out. Best bet is probably just to explore Genessia and when you get the chance, look through the other cities. I haven't done the latter yet though. Kinda wary about doing that by myself.

Yeah, that'd be a good idea. They already brought someone here younger than me, and that was...well, crazy to say the least.

It's fine enough if you're in Genessia, but it looks like there's a hell of a lot going on out there. Politics, magic, corruption. Stuff straight out of an anime.

I think I'd be fine with that. I mean, I kinda lost my family coming here, so it's an adjustment.

Thank you... I guess I'm a bit used to being kidnapped to other planets. Difference here is last time I knew I got picked up by a giant robotic lion and flew through a worm hole, somehow not as weird as just suddenly waking up somewhere new, with no memory of how I got here.

Attleton is one of the other cities... right?

It is. It's a small town. You can reach it through the archway, but you'll want to stay in Genessia City for now. That's where the orphanage is, and it's best suited to newcomers in general.

You're welcome to visit Attleton, though. It's safe enough, even for a child... certainly safer than any kidnappings involving robot lions.
