Lovers' spat huh? Ouch; I hear those can be nasty.
Though I'm afraid I don't have a lot of experience in that area myself. Hmmm... Is there someone else can talk to about it? Somebody you trust who knows about these sorts of things? Even if they don't have any advice for you maybe just venting at someone when you know it won't cause an argument would help.
Or did you already try that?
[She said she'd talked to her boyfriend about it, but that would probably only go so far...]
[Rolls her wrist in a circle.] S'where it gets complicated, right? Because anyone who knows the situation, or knows him is gonna be connected to it, too close. And I dunno, I don't think talking to someone who doesn't know the situation will help much, because thinking on it just makes me angry and wanna punch things all over again. [Weak grin.]
Yeah, that makes it harder. And most of the general ways I know of for dealing with anger you've either already tried or you've said don't work for you.
[He thinks for a long moment.]
Maybe comfort food? I know that's usually more for being sad than angry, but at least having a belly full of your favorite food would give you more energy to think of things. Or on the opposite end, might make you feel lazy enough that being angry seems like too much work.
