Video/Action in Genessia
To those who know the Doctor--and particularly this one--it's probably no surprise he's already on the move by the time he actually tries talking to someone on that phone, obviously wandering/exploring the city, by the way the background moves behind him.
"Hello, lovely holographic welcome wagon you've got, very informative, except not actually, leaves a few important questions unanswered, well, all of the important ones, really, in particular, it says 'kidnapped,' well, it happens I don't generally kidnap that easily, raises some questions, that. All the obvious ones, and, which of you know something more about it?"
He raises his eyebrows (such as they are) at the camera as though prompting anyone watching to go ahead and not be shy, smiling harmlessly. Either someone would answer with something helpful, or no one would, which would be informative, in itself; the automated gas defense that a sonic scan had revealed in the holoprojector had dissuaded him from trying to hack it, but had also raised his suspicions just a bit.
"Don't hesitate to give me a ring, might just be I can help, sort of a thing I do."
He smiles a little more at that, and clicks off.
Meanwhile, of course, anyone who happens to be in the streets of Genessia might have a chance to stumble across the fellow in the Victorian coat and bow tie, looking around like he's expecting to find... something, possibly many somethings, seemingly walking aimlessly but at quite a brisk pace. He very might well approach, though, if he spots something interestingly out-of-place or suggesting access to useful information or okay let's be honest just anything strange or interesting at all might grab his attention, at least for a moment...

"...Geronimo."
With that, he ducks his head to take a nice, big, bold bite; his taste buds in your hands, Amelia Pond.

His face scrunches up--not with disgust (which she's certainly seen) but with concentration, the better to fully appreciate it, like a pretentious wine taster putting on a grandiose show of enjoying the nuances of some fancy, expensive wine.
"...is that.. banana..?"

He smiles knowingly, although he dips his fish finger again, taking another bite, so he obviously doesn't object.

not like anyone else who knows you is shocked.]Yes, you should hold off, he's got too much of that for his own good.
[Worse than anyone's aunt, indeed. After taking a moment to fix her with a peevish look, he shakes his head. ...then looks downward, some of that more sincere concern slipping through.]
......you know he wasn't really... disappointed, yeah?
[However much all his previous incarnation's hanky-panky might squick him out, it's far more important to make sure Amy doesn't actually think she had, in some roundabout way, disappointed him.]
no subject
She sighed, the grin falling away as she dipped a fish finger in for herself. She shrugged. "Still don't know what I did or said. But I know you, Doctor. No matter the face."
no subject
...wasn't your fault, just... something he didn't want to face, probably still doesn't, really, knowing him.
[Not that this Doctor was really that much better about facing things he didn't want to, but he at least had moderately subtler ways of going about avoiding them, normally.]
no subject
"Still. My face was the one that made him all upset, and my face is going to be the one that will make his light up when he sees me from now on. Just like your face does. Just like Rory's stupid face does. You'll see."
no subject
"What did my stupid face do now?" He said, kissing Amy's temple while pouring his tea.
"Hello Doctor," He said between sips.
no subject
...Rory!
[He's around the island in a flash to hug him--and then collects himself, remembering it's only been a little while for Rory (months, at most!), quickly turning about to free one arm to sling about Amy's shoulders.]
Ohh, the Ponds, in Pond House.
[No matter if it's actually called Pond House; as far as he's concerned, it's Pond House.]
How've you been settling in, then? Not missing Leadworth, I hope?
[He glances between them with a teasing loft of his eyebrows at Rory, and a "ha, got him there" look for Amy.]

She got up to take Rory's tea so it didn't spill as he got hugged, and took a sip of it herself.

He awkwardly patted the Doctor's back.

Amy Pond liked this place. She had her husband, her daughter, three Doctors, and new worlds to explore. There was no choosing between Doctor life and real life. They were the same life here. She had a job, could have friends, make commitments, but still run with the Doctor. She knew it had to be driving him and River crazy but... but she was selfish enough to hope it stayed like this... at least a little while longer.

He casts a smile over at Amy, since that relates back to their earlier conversation. Really, it's more of a (somewhat enigmatic) comment to her than it is an answer to Rory.
"So, Amelia Pond and Rory the Roman, what've you both been up to, then? You both from 'bout the same point, I hope?"

"Maybe I should be asking you that. Don't we have to coordinate our little blue books or something?"

And he is super not about to say exactly how long "a bit" is. ...although his eyebrows do raise after a moment, just a bit excited.
"...no, actually, d'you two have little blue books, now?"
no subject
She looked to Rory, "I think we should go out and get little red books, just cause he said it that way," she teased. "Like the exact shade of hair."
