So, after some... Conversations I've overheard I got a question for you lot. And it's okay cause like, kids need to learn stuff. So asking questions are good.

[Their tone of voice is so not serious, Chara isn't expecting anyone to give a real answer to this question. And those who do? Well they'll be people they'll want to get to know.]

So like. What is the most horrible thing you ever did and didn't feel bad about? Spare no details and hey maybe I'll tell you all my answer.

But you did not miss him once he died. Is there a reason?

I did. I also heard the 'An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind'. If there's wrong in the world, you fight to stop it not to make it worse.

He's not dead.

[At least not in the timeline they were living in before ending up here.]

And who says anything these people have done made their worlds worse? You judging them for it is just as bad.

I'm not judging anybody, I mean that in general we all should try to make the world a better place.

And sometimes the world will be better with a few less humans in it.

Dead people learn no lessons, though.

Now that's not true. I learned a lot when I was dead.

[He doesn't sounds particularly surprised about Chara's explanation. People dying and coming back to life is nothing new in his world.]

What kind of lessons did you learn?

I learned that no matter how good a person is, if they get bored enough they'll do some horrible horrible things.

Those in your world might be really different than mine. People don't become awful just because they get bored.

[Except perhaps, Deadpool.]

Well bored is just for a few people. I saw a King who was a good man decide that the best course of action for saving his people would be to let them rot for a hundred years while he waited for children to come to him to die.

[Chara used the term "bored" to be nice, so thanks Scott now they're not being nice.]

[Chara has a really weird concept of 'nice'.]

I'm going to need some more context information to make any sense of that sentence. [Because as it is now, it raises a lot of questions.]

It makes sense, if you're listening. Instead of doing the right thing at the start the King decided that waiting years and years and years for what he needed to save his people, human souls, was the better solution.

When he could have gone with the first one and went out and sought help from the humans outside of his kingdom's cage.

Not really, I'm missing a lot of facts. [And also sounds like Chara is making things up.]

What were the King and his subjects if not human? And how their souls could save them?

They're Monsters, so compared to human SOULS they're pretty weak. Also it was humans who sealed them away, so it would tale human SOULS to break it.

I had no idea that monsters' souls were weaker than humans ones. Is there a reason for that? Souls are souls.

[He's not so surprised to hear that humans have locked the monsters for some reason.] Go figure. They didn't like that the monsters were different?

Because of determination, humans have a lot of it compared to Monsters. So that means human SOULs can last longer after death.

[They snort at that question.] No, they locked them away because they believed that Monsters are going to kill humans for their SOULs.

You meant like, willpower? Or stubbornness?

So, it all turned into and endless circle.

Yes.

Well, not really. Because the Monsters never killed humans for their SOULs before that time.

[There's another pause before Scott replies. He's no strange to conflict but it will always upset him.]

I'm sorry to hear that everything went that way.

I wasn't alive for it, so you don't need to apologize.

Maybe not but it's still sad to know things turned out that way. [He's tempted to ask how Chara died but that would be really rude.]

I guess, considering the other outcome is humans could have killed off all the Monsters.

[Oh Chara would bluntly tell Scott how they died if he asked, but he didn't.]

Wasn't there any chance that both species could cohabitate? I like that solution better, always did.

[Maybe in the future. He's trying to be respectful now but he's also used of talks of death.]

Oh they did live together peacefully before then. Just the humans got all paranoid or something like that.

Either way it wasn't the Monsters' fault the war started at all.

It seems to be human nature to go against everything that is different from them. [Does he sound like he talks from experience? because he is.]

They can still change their ways, though, with time.
