So, after some... Conversations I've overheard I got a question for you lot. And it's okay cause like, kids need to learn stuff. So asking questions are good.

[Their tone of voice is so not serious, Chara isn't expecting anyone to give a real answer to this question. And those who do? Well they'll be people they'll want to get to know.]

So like. What is the most horrible thing you ever did and didn't feel bad about? Spare no details and hey maybe I'll tell you all my answer.

What do I gotta do to get you to teach me?

Meet me here. [An address, if Max cares to find out what it is before going? It's to a park or some other open public place.]

[Max heads out. He can find the park, shouldn't be hard. He wants to learn. Besides, he hasn't actually seen Chara face to face yet. It's about time to actually meet his new ally.]

[Be prepared to be disappointed, Max. Because the address is for a tent, not one of those tents they have at Camp Campbell either. But the kind someone would buy to like go for fun camping.

And there is a kid sitting outside of it, wearing a green and yellow striped sweater and dark brown pants, and well. Kinda hard to tell is this kid a boy or girl, and judging by the fact they look like they have been sleeping in a tent for who knows how long, the kid doesn't seem to care either.]

[Max walks up to Chara. His eyes flicker from his new terrible teacher to the tent and back. He groans.]

You seriously sleep in a fucking tent? Do you at least have a bed in there?

It beats sleeping outside.

[Enjoy them staring at Max, with their red eyes. Like that is totally normal.]

Why would I need a bed? I've slept in worse places than a tent. Anyway, isn't this about teaching you how to ruin someone completely or what?

Hey. Even I have a real bed at Camp Campbell. Are you just too lazy to get yourself one? Whatever.

[He shrugs. The bed isn't why he's here. They're right. He's also pretty sure the red eyes are just contacts. You tryhard, Chara.]

Yeah yeah. I'm here to learn to be an even bigger shit than I am now. Let's get started.

[Under their breath as they get up, and oh boy Max is sure going to learn a thing to two isn't he?]

Alright then. [They clap their hands together and grin, before noticing that they are just a wee bit taller than their "student". Which just makes them grin even wider, it's almost creepy.]

I need to know just what your limits are before we start, since I don't think you can handle the deep end just yet.

[There is something really messed up about that smile but Max pushes down his suspicions. He wanted these lessons. He should know this is going to come from someone fucked up.]

Sure. I don't have any limits. All I want is the tools to get the job done when I need them.

[Sure, it sounded cool but then he realized he was lying. No. He did have limits.]

Correction. I'm not hurting innocent animals. I'm not some fucked up serial killer kid. People are shit, I'm fine with fucking people over. Just not innocent animals.

Oh don't worry. Animals are off limits, unless they're like... attacking you, that's just self defense.

[As they're talking? Out comes their trusty weapon, a worn dagger that honestly doesn't look like it could do much damage.]

Okay so, how about we go somewhere else and we can start your lesson.

[Spinning the blade around as they start walking, heading in the direction of Everglade. Since that is a place they know they can find some schmuck to knife.]

I'd say we could go find my favourite punching bag except I'm giving him a break.

[Max eyes the knife. That thing does look like crap but the way Chara twirls it tell him it isn't just for show. He's having flashbacks of Nurf stabbing David's hand suddenly. He swallows and follows along, despite the worry building in his stomach.]

Are you going to teach me how to mug someone?

Mug? Ha ha ha ha.

[They laugh for a bit to long. Waaaay to long, not even stopping as they walk.]

Mugging is easy, no. We're going to go kill someone.

[Max just stares. It's all he can think of doing. He stares. Something really is wrong with Chara. They are all sorts of fucked up. Moreso than even Nurf. Despite it, despite knowing this now for sure, he keeps walking. Something about the way Chara says that, the way they don't care about killing someone conflicts him. Sure, he was sure Campbell was a shitty person who was also potentially a murderer but that didn't really effect Max. Sure, he was sure Nurf one day would be a murderer but again, it didn't effect him.

This could and yet still, he just kept walking.]

You've killed before, haven't you? [He already knows the answer.] How many people have you killed?

I've destroyed a whole world, multiple times.

So I guess the term "genocide" applies to how many I've killed? Heck, I've killed my parents.

[This is just said so plainly, as if Chara was just talking about the weather. Or which pair of pants they were going to wear today.

They're well aware of how messed up they are and they just don't care.]

And...you're just okay with that?

[So many red flags were going off and he could hear them. He stared at Chara. This sounded way too fucking crazy to be real but the way they said it made him believe. He believed Chara had killed an entire world multiple times. Chara had committed genocide against an entire planet. Despite that, something made him want to follow. Something tempted him to learn from this psycho.]

Are you going to do that here? Kill everyone?

Eh, it happened. I always RESET afterwards so it's not like they stayed dead.

[Those alarm bells better be going off right now, Max. Because this is just sounding even more crazy, as oh look. The archway to Everglade, which they stop at.]

Huh? No, I'm not going to do that here. Why would I?

[Like that's a dumb question to even ask them.]

[The last question makes make double take. Not the talk about RESETs but the talk about why would they do it again sure does.]

Okay, one? What the fuck is RESET mean? Like you just reset the world? Like a video game?

And two...because serial killers ALWAYS kill again!

Got it in one, yeah.

[That's probably the most simple explanation they ever had to give about their ability to RESET.

And Chara snorts at the serial killers killing again.]

And how many serial killers do you know? Anyway, if we do this in Everglade we won't get into too much trouble. Since you're more likely to get a monster in there then anywhere else.

...You know that sounds crazy, right?

[Still, maybe Chara could do that. Or Chara was nutzo in the head. One of the two. He raises an eyebrow at the talk of monsters.]

Monsters, huh? I guess that would make it easier. I mean, monsters hurt people. We'd be doing a service to the city if we killed one, right?

To you, maybe. But it's reality in my world.

[Or both, Max. Or both.]

Sure, let's go with that.

[And stepping into Everglade properly now, better keep up Max.]
