Um... Hello.

My name is Terra.

When I woke up here my memories had been taken. I'm not sure what is wrong with me but I have met one person who knows me.

[Terra takes a deep breath. She looks down at a sheet of paper in front of her.]

Random things bring flashes of my memory back. If anyone would be willing to help me regain my memory. I don't know. [Her voice tails off.]

I don't know how. So any ideas would be appreciated.

[Now she waits.]

[He did not normally intervene in these matters directly, but the issue struck a chord with him.]

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you... I cannot say for certain I know how to restore your memories, but perhaps it would help if I said I know of another from my Netherworld who had memories taken from her, and she was able to regain those that she lost.

[Although in that case, her memories were used as a bargaining chip against her - he did not want to see this girl go through the same.]

I am rather new to this place, but if you would find it helpful to talk through what you have learnt so far, perhaps I could help you put the pieces together?

[Terra nervously watches the screen not letting her emotions show on her face.]

[Vyers is keeping his voice and expression calm, but sympathetic - a far cry from the loud, egotistical introduction he gave a few days prior. Judging from what can be seen behind him, he seems to be sitting on in a rather undecorated room. At least it was somewhere quiet.]

You mentioned that there were a few things that triggered part of your memory - perhaps one of those would be a sensible place to begin?

Yes. My memory returning usually comes with headaches and sometimes fainting.

[Terra looks around the room she is currently occupying. Would it be safe here?]

Hm, I see…and you say certain events caused those memories to return?

[He did not want to poke too deeply, especially as it seemed a delicate case.]

Still, if headaches or fainting are a risk, perhaps sitting down somewhere comfortable would be wise.

[Terra looks down at her papers. She doesn't really know the area.]

[Vyers was starting to learn his way around, having had near a week to do so, although he still had to ask directions a fair bit.]

…Do you have somewhere you can go?

[There's a bit of shuffling as Vyers examines his own pamphlet. Why did this thing not come with a map?]

I believe I saw a library in town a couple of days ago that might be a little quieter?

There are some types of magic that might be able to help. Our mage's guild, Fairy Tail, doesn't have any mages here who specialize in that sort of thing, but we do have a library that might contain something helpful.

[ Yup. Sounding more like a guild master for once instead of... you know. Not one. Like she usually sounds. ]

[Terra gathers her things and leaves quickly heading across the street to the fairy tail building. She is happy that she took Lucy's advice to stay there. She walks through the door and heads to where she remembers the Library being.]

[ And in the library, there's Mavis browsing through the books already. Don't let her childish looks fool you, she's the First Master of Fairy Tail, okay?

She glances over. ] Oh! Are you Terra?

[This is pretty much the second person he has ever spoken to who lost their memory. Except at least with the first one it was much easier to know what they were suppose to do. In this case, he hadn't a clue at all.]

I'm sorry to hear that one such as yourself has lost their memory. I do admit I knew someone who themselves lost their memories. [Now how does he explain this next part...] We found that he had to do a lot of searching to be able to find such a thing. Maybe the same can be said of you.

I'm not sure. When I do remember things it usually comes with pain.

[Like something is trying to spot her from remembering.]

Then it's different to the one I know. They usually just fall asleep when they remember.

But maybe there is a reason for someone forgetting.

[Terra looks down at her hands. It doesn't make sense.]

There aren't exactly good reasons that I'm aware of. But it always means there is a reason never the less, its just the case of finding out.

That's kinda what's happened to my friend. He's forgotten a few years of his life, doesn't remember me at all, but he felt like he recognised me. [Souda is clearly still inordinately pleased by that fact.] So-- so part of him has to still remember me, right? I'm sure the memories are still there! Just... buried, I guess.

He said talking to me is helping him remember some things. Have you tried talking with the person here who knows you?

[There's a long pause, but not of the awkward kind. More of a thoughtful 'how do I phrase this' kind.]

It... IS possible. But there are times when people repress memories for a specific reason. The mind is a very delicate thing as well as being very flexible and perhaps even the best liar any universe has ever designed. To put it bluntly though, it might be possible to regain what you lost but there is no saying how pleasant or accurate those memories are.
