[The screen is tilted at an odd angle, as if someone just hit the communicator with a wandering hand, but the view it's clear, Cassian Andor's bedroom. The clues of figuring that one are that the camera shows Cassian himself in his bed, jacket lost somewhere on the floor and shirt half undone.]

I will never get tired of having lips.

[The voice comes from Cassian's company: a tall, blond man, who is not only very handsy with him but trying to suck a lovebite into Cassian's neck. That earns him a moan and a stifled laugh.]

Good, because I'll never get tired of your lips.

[He curls his fingers into the man's hair and yanks his head up, pulling him into a rough kiss.]

If the only reason were because the robot looked like a person, then the human could have chosen any other human being in the planet. [That's what logic tells him. Why make your life more complicated by choosing a non human partner if you could be with one that not only looked human but was actually one of them? There's fore, it needs to be more to it than that.] Looks aren't everything in a relationship, nor are your origins. There's plenty of humans and species who behave in very inhumanly ways. Without empathy or love.

Besides, what about your feelings? Or mine? Everyone always seems to focus on the human partner of the relationship, why would they choose us. But why would us, droids and robots, choose them too? Humans are flawed and fragile, and they get themselves in trouble by making illogical decisions. We shouldn't love them. But we do.

[ Dorothy is again quiet, and doesn't look at the camera at all.

It's ... painful, what she's ... feeling, right now. Remembering.

She was teased, wasn't she, for liking R. Instro? Except she didn't. Not like that. But, why not? Wouldn't it have been more logical?

But she wasn't like other robots, or other humans. She knew what she felt.

Eventually, still not looking at the camera, her voice almost a whisper: ]

It would have been easier if I hadn't.

Sometimes we can't help ourselves, against all logic.

It's a very human reaction, in a sense, is it not?

But I'm not really like most humans. I don't change on a whim. I'm always me.

[ She didn't feel like she was explaining herself very well. But humans seemed to be capricious and fickle. Dorothy wasn't. ]

Depends on the human. Jyn was more driven by her emotions, Cassian is more duty and logic focused.

I know this wasn't the best first impression but I think you would like talking to him. You can also ask him about our relationship to get his point of view.
