[He shifts in his seat like he's uncomfortable or unsure of himself. To be fair, he's much more familiar with books than he is with technology, and he's not entirely sure if videotaping himself is a good idea, but it's potentially the fastest way to get information.]

If I'm to believe the information that was given to me upon my arrival, I've arrived in a world that I cannot leave. Is that accurate?

Yes, without hearts. Like the other members, I have no heartbeat. There's nothing there. I assume it's magic of some kind that keeps us going physically, but I'm not entirely sure. It's not exactly the best idea to question one's existence when one isn't supposed to exist in the first place.

Let's just say it was due to experimentation on hearts. When a strong-willed person loses their heart, it creates two beings: a Heartless, a weak shadowy creature, and a Nobody. The person's strength determines how strong the Nobody is. Some become low-ranking, weak Nobodies. A very few are like myself and retain their personality and sense of self.

[It is sort of a death in a way, just not a permanent one necessarily.]
