September Catch All + Fairy Tail Guild Invasion by DW cast & OTA

[September will find Rose increasingly more and more scarce, until she almost all but disappears until the second week of October. She went from attending as many of the 12th Doctor's lectures, and even hanging around the campus of Attleton University testing products ostensibly; but after the first week of September, she pretty much disappears for a bit. No sign of her on the network, and even around the TARDIS, or her usual haunts, she's hard to nab. Even for someone like Captain Jack Harkness who spent a good portion of a century tracking her and has a good bond link to make sure she's safe will find Rose a bit scarcer than usual. 3 years of acting like a ghost has made it a lot easier for her to be invisible in a crowd if she wants.]

[Whatever appearances in public appear to be marketing and testing related, survey, and throwing things literally into fountains or against walls or collecting data.]

[But finally she makes a small appearance on the network!]

First round of drinks is on Mirajane. All of the Doctors are required to make a presence or I'll make life hell for ya, more'n usual, yeah? [Tongue out to the side.] River, Martha, Jack, Gwen, Demyx, Koishi, Satori, Belle, Rory, Amy, and apologies to anyone I forgot. [Laughs.] You can make excuses, but I'm draggin' ya all out for at least one drink. Be there! Everything after the first drink you're on your own.

But since I'm officially quittin' after this crazy last month, I might be able to spot ya. Some.

[Grins.]

[And locked to Demyx:] First mission, find us a suitable tower. Nova city. Price is negotiable. Capacity for modifications is not.


[And indeed anyone hitting up the Fairy Tail Guild during the first round of drinks on Rose / Mirajane can probably sneak in a free drink by saying they're friends with Rose Tyler. Just might want to make sure you actually know who that is if pressed.]

[The first part he figured out. As far as past companions and future companions. That's easier. The hard part is when this involves his face. No, she doesn't like sharing him with other women -Reinette But Jack is hardly a woman. Jack - poor Jack has been torn down with trying to keep everything all together. And Rose seemed fine with Martha.

Maybe - maybe she's just really, really, really upset with that choice that was made.

Not that Ten blames Rose in the slightest. At all. And takes a long sip and dryly states]

I don't like hurting her. I don't want to hurt her. You don't understand what she means to me.

[And he's never going to break through the universes here like she wants him too - to prove himself. Another long drink. Because they can't leave this forsaken place

He also wonders what he's done to her to make her so possessive of him. Enough to break through universes and watch him die again and again.

Don't mind that he's half covering his face with a hand.]

You're right about that for sure.

[Mirajane's sidelong glance had not been the most friendly one. She knew that the Doctor had left Jack behind, and she knew why, but that did not mean it was right of him to do so. She knew the Doctor was the kind of person who kept trying to outrun his problems, and unfortunately for him, there was nowhere to run.]

She was definitely upset by that choice, and I definitely don't understand what Rose means to you. I'm not really the important one in all this though, Rose is. So try to make her happy, okay? Even if you have to force yourself to make silly faces for her when you're both feeling down.

[She had to say that - the enteral torment question. Why? She just really had to say that and he's feeling a bit tipsy from only half the wine glass and bellows out]

I know she is! And I don't understand why I'd do something like that! Yes, Davros and the Daleks and the fate of the multiverse was involved but why would I send her back after?

I don't know. I don't know why I sent everyone away!

[Then quiets down and withdraws because he's also scared of that - did he break somehow then? He can't logic on why he'd push them all away and he knows himself and when he's hurt he withdraws just like he's doing now and keeps to himself]

[Rose really only caught the tail ending -- last two or three comments worth -- but at the outburst, she glomps the Doctor from behind in a big snuggly hug.]

I'm not mad at you, at this you for that. I'm not. I promise. You can ask your future about it if it bothers you so much, but Jack and Micks just thought they'd see you again. Martha too. Me too. You know... [Gently pulls his cheeks out to the side playfully.] You're gonna drive Jack mad actin' like that. So what if Amy says you'll meet her alone? You didn't get rid of us, and she said you're hundreds of years older, centuries even in the future.

Look....

[Lets go of the hug and teasing, and spins him around carefully on the stool to face her and kisses his nose.] I'm mad at you, at this you, for how ya are here. That's it. It's not always your fault. It's not always something you can do to fix. But it's not about your future, all right? I'll be mad at them for that, and you for you. I told Bowties... The worst of it was just...

It's stupid, all right?

[Hides half her face behind her hand. Too embarrassed to explain what had hurt her the worst with Bowtie. Why she overreacted.]

[Not mad at him for that? How many outbursts Rose did you have because of that towards him? Because it's the only reason that he knows of it.

And looks at her exhausted and 'you've got to be kidding me look' This is all like a bad sitecom. A really bad sitecom.

But they don't seem to see it either - that he broke emotionally at the end. There's no other logic on why he would have pushed everyone away.]

I don't like knowing the ending, Rose.

[There was that too.]

[Pokes his cheeks up with her fingers and stamps her foot, not even waiting for Mirajane.] You don't know the ending, though!

[Huff.]

You keep assuming you pushed us all away. Yeah you... [Tsks and growls.] I told you. About the not-decision. Because I thought I owed it ta ya and I was mad, not at you, just mad. But stop assuming you mess everythin' up! You don't even wanna go back, right? So don'! Just focus on here! And now!

[HUGS HIM AGAIN. Hard.] You're not alone. You have friends here. So don't push us away here. And by us, I mean Martha, Jack, Amy, and everyone else. And don't use me as an excuse. I won't let you. It hurts me if ya do.

[borntolove]

[Please. Someone give him a head concussion of the last month of her; inwardly facepalming forever and inwardly head banging. There's a weak.]

Yeah.

[Expect sweetheart you don't understand that was the worst part of their fighting making him feel trapped that there's no way around hurting you - with whatever happens with you and MetaCrisis.

He wants to scream at her but that won't help but really why do you think someone almost took that aspirin?

You twisted that event so far into him and you don't seem to have any idea]

[She's just going to sigh.]

When Rose made Jack immortal you left him behind, didn't you? What about your other companions over the years, don't you leave some of them behind as well? Sometimes you do leave your friends behind Doctor, this isn't something that's entirely new, you just don't know your motivations for doing so yet.

Jack was a fixed point in time. He didn't look right. [Then eyes Rose] And something blue tried to shake Jack off too.

[Then gulps down the rest of the half of glass of wine]

This is why - we don't talk about spoilers. It's one thing for that to happen in the moment, it's another to know before that moment comes.

I may be able to see what is, what was and what will be - but I never know my own future.

Then should you really be worrying about what's going to happen? Unless it's a fixed point in time it might not happen again and you can do things differently. Maybe I'm speaking without the experience of a timelord about how time and space works, but I think you need stop worrying about the future so much and focus a bit more on the present. You're here, she's here, and what's important is what you decide to do not what you're going to do eventually.

[Mirajane's getting huffy now with her hands on her hips, talking in a matter of fact, no nonsense sort of way.]

[He snapped again]

Oh shut up. [And hits the wine glass onto the floor] She chewed me up for a month about this. Right away in fact. It wasn't a lovely reunion when she got here when I was excited and running to meet her and hug her, no that was too much to ask for! After having not seen her for some time! I wanted to make it about here - two months ago - but no. All we did was fight and telling me everything wrong that I did.

[bigbadrose]

[Pinkens with embarrasment and carefully picks up the pieces of the glass with knapkins, not about to let Mirajane do it.]

Stop.

Doctor.

Stop.

It's not Mirajane's fault.

[Gives him a hurt look.] You don't get it, Doctor. You still don't.

You got so focused on seeing me again, you died. Jack had to save us. Both of us. That's why I'm scared.

Please.

Just. Leave it be for now, yeah?

[mira_strauss]

[Mira... is not handling the broken glass quite as well as Rose is. She puts a hand on Rose's shoulder to steady herself, and to remind herself that the Doctor was Rose's guest here.]

Doctor... I understand that you're upset, I understand that you are hurt by the fact that Rose wanted answers you could not give her.

[Her face glints with a definite hint of danger.]

But if you cause further trouble in this bar, I may have to ask you to step outside.

[borntolove]

[Stands up and gives Rose a reassuring hand squeeze; with whatever hand doesn't have glass in it and walks off]

I'm sorry for him, Mirajane.

[mira_strauss]

[Just... another sigh from Mirajane.]

I'm sorry too Rose. I thought I could help, but...

[You can't help those who refuse it.]

I don't know if I could have handled that much better than I did.

[It was... rare... incredibly rare for Mirajane to lose her temper so much that she would get physical, but she came very close if not for Rose being here. She took her bar very seriously, and had even tried to go out of her way to treat him, and to help him. Perhaps she'd just... misjudged him being all that different from the crotchety old doctor after all.]

[bigbadrose]

No, it's not you... it's me. Really. Sorry. [Biting her bottom lip.] You had it under control until I tried to help.

[mira_strauss]

[She just... gives Rose a great big hug.]

Don't beat yourself up too much, okay? We're all only human... or timelords or whatever. We all make mistakes, and what's important is what we try to do to fix them.

[Like Rose trying to pick up the pieces that the Doctor left shattered... there was almost a bit of poetic, metaphorical, symbolism to that act.]

I swear you're much too good for him Rose. He's not handling any of this with very good maturity, but I think that's because he does care so much. So don't give up hope, okay?
