September Catch All + Fairy Tail Guild Invasion by DW cast & OTA

[September will find Rose increasingly more and more scarce, until she almost all but disappears until the second week of October. She went from attending as many of the 12th Doctor's lectures, and even hanging around the campus of Attleton University testing products ostensibly; but after the first week of September, she pretty much disappears for a bit. No sign of her on the network, and even around the TARDIS, or her usual haunts, she's hard to nab. Even for someone like Captain Jack Harkness who spent a good portion of a century tracking her and has a good bond link to make sure she's safe will find Rose a bit scarcer than usual. 3 years of acting like a ghost has made it a lot easier for her to be invisible in a crowd if she wants.]

[Whatever appearances in public appear to be marketing and testing related, survey, and throwing things literally into fountains or against walls or collecting data.]

[But finally she makes a small appearance on the network!]

First round of drinks is on Mirajane. All of the Doctors are required to make a presence or I'll make life hell for ya, more'n usual, yeah? [Tongue out to the side.] River, Martha, Jack, Gwen, Demyx, Koishi, Satori, Belle, Rory, Amy, and apologies to anyone I forgot. [Laughs.] You can make excuses, but I'm draggin' ya all out for at least one drink. Be there! Everything after the first drink you're on your own.

But since I'm officially quittin' after this crazy last month, I might be able to spot ya. Some.

[Grins.]

[And locked to Demyx:] First mission, find us a suitable tower. Nova city. Price is negotiable. Capacity for modifications is not.


[And indeed anyone hitting up the Fairy Tail Guild during the first round of drinks on Rose / Mirajane can probably sneak in a free drink by saying they're friends with Rose Tyler. Just might want to make sure you actually know who that is if pressed.]

Mirajane blinks once or twice and just flat out cackles at the Doctor's flat objection to the idea. She had meant it jokingly anyways because there was no way in hell she was going to do that when she'd never actually done that before. Call her old fashioned but she was waiting for someone she really loved and planned to spend the rest of her life with. So while she doesn't object anyone else the right to their casual sex? It definitely wasn't for her.

"Glad to know I'm not your type, cause you're not really mine either." She gives the Doctor an encouraging pat on the back, not to be confused with a spanking or anything because... nope, not giving him any ideas here.

Now Jack on the other hand... well that was another story she wasn't going to be going into.

Rose just hiccupped at that.

Jack and the Doctor at the same time would be...

Stuck between two old gods, two semi-immortals, her boys.

But Martha crashed back into Rose's memory.

Her shoulders and vision trembled.

"I... I need some fresh air," she fled outside to cool her head and lean her back on the building just outside the door.

What was she doing? What was she thinking? She couldn't do this. She felt like she was being torn up inside. It wasn't fair to anyone, and she didn't know how to make it right either.

Jealousy raged over all of it. Anger, resentment, hurt, agony.

Not for the first time she wanted to go home.

But she didn't know where that was. Not with her Mom. The TARDIS here?

How was wandering as a ghost easier than this? Or was she just being dramatic?

She could share Jack with anyone and not even have to think about it. Or maybe... it was because she wasn't thinking about it. Because when she started to, she couldn't do that as easily as she thought either. Except her relationship with Jack was incomparable.

But the Doctor?

It wasn't that she couldn't share him with Martha. She just wanted to walk away then. Why couldn't she? Was she that messed up of a person? So selfish? Invariably going to hurt him? But she couldn't just pretend they were so casual with each other either. Or that she didn't go crazy inside whenever she tried to deal with it. Or that going crazy like that wasn't inevitable either.

Rose just did her best to breathe and think everything through.

Oh - Mira. You make it seem like this is casual sex. Though suppose it depends on your definition of casual sex. At least with Ten it's being earned; whereas Jack - rather ironically would sleep with both his executors and had - and The Doctor - he'd find a cleverer way out of being put to death or trapped in a cell.

But what was with the pat on his back? He wasn't upset that Mari isn't her type - "It's earned." Stating very firmly, "You didn't hurt my feelings for saying I'm not your type."

What casual sex is here is all rather wishy-washy and depends on viewpoint.

Seeing Rose visibility shudder and run out - he doesn't follow. Even if he wants too.
