September Catch All + Fairy Tail Guild Invasion by DW cast & OTA

[September will find Rose increasingly more and more scarce, until she almost all but disappears until the second week of October. She went from attending as many of the 12th Doctor's lectures, and even hanging around the campus of Attleton University testing products ostensibly; but after the first week of September, she pretty much disappears for a bit. No sign of her on the network, and even around the TARDIS, or her usual haunts, she's hard to nab. Even for someone like Captain Jack Harkness who spent a good portion of a century tracking her and has a good bond link to make sure she's safe will find Rose a bit scarcer than usual. 3 years of acting like a ghost has made it a lot easier for her to be invisible in a crowd if she wants.]

[Whatever appearances in public appear to be marketing and testing related, survey, and throwing things literally into fountains or against walls or collecting data.]

[But finally she makes a small appearance on the network!]

First round of drinks is on Mirajane. All of the Doctors are required to make a presence or I'll make life hell for ya, more'n usual, yeah? [Tongue out to the side.] River, Martha, Jack, Gwen, Demyx, Koishi, Satori, Belle, Rory, Amy, and apologies to anyone I forgot. [Laughs.] You can make excuses, but I'm draggin' ya all out for at least one drink. Be there! Everything after the first drink you're on your own.

But since I'm officially quittin' after this crazy last month, I might be able to spot ya. Some.

[Grins.]

[And locked to Demyx:] First mission, find us a suitable tower. Nova city. Price is negotiable. Capacity for modifications is not.


[And indeed anyone hitting up the Fairy Tail Guild during the first round of drinks on Rose / Mirajane can probably sneak in a free drink by saying they're friends with Rose Tyler. Just might want to make sure you actually know who that is if pressed.]

"Why, yes." She chuckles softly. On one hand, it's true: she's curious to go downstair and see what's going. On the other hand, it's comfortable, cuddling with Zeref like that and she didn't want to break the moment just then.

"Oh? So that's the reason?" She teased him. She lays a soft kiss on top of his head this time. "I guess we're both crazy enough to deal with it without seeing it as an annoyance." And, at least in Makarov's case, drinking alcohol along with your guildmates helps with that too.

"Oh, believe me, I hate politics." It was true, and that wasn't just the Curse talking. The only times he ever became directly involved in Alvarez' politics were during times or war, or some major crisis that needed nothing less than the Emperor himself to sort it out, like when certain members of the Spriggan Twelve decided they were done waiting for him to give his blessing to invade Ishgal. It wasn't love for the people in his organization that caused him to tolerate as much as he did. It was necessity.

"Being Emperor came with a whole host of annoyances, but it needed to be done. I needed a way to counterbalance Acnologia. Though all too often, it's like herding cats."

Mavis believed him, though she found it surprising nonetheless. He was so good at what he did. Despite the war between Alvarez and Ishgar, they was no denying he had done a lot of good for his country. 'Spriggan' was not just a leader in title. Mavis admired him for that.

"If I had known that, maybe I would have tried to become Empress too. Still... that doesn't tell me why you would never join a mage guild. Or is just because you don't like parties and drinks?"

Zeref sighed. He knew where this was going. He had been living here for all of this time, after all, and while Erza and Mirajane may or may not like having him here, they'd clearly accepted it as being their First Master's decision, and that it made her happy to have him here. "Even if I wanted to, Mavis, no guild would have me. It would ruin their reputation at best, and at worse would have the Magic Council declare them a Dark Guild for harboring the Black Wizard." And he'd never join a Dark Guild. Grimoire Heart were scum, and Tartaros may have been acting as his pawns, but he would never actually want to join them directly.

"Besides. What Fairy Tail has... the camaraderie, the family-like atmosphere. That was never meant for me." He leaned in to kiss her cheek again, his hand closing around hers. "This is the most I could have ever asked for."
