Lastly came Winter cloathed all in frize
[There appears to be fog or steam rising up around the woman as she appears on screen, in reality it's because behind her is a field of ice leftover from when she froze the water coming out of the pod so she could walk across it without getting wet. Her hair is down, all adding the the abnormal lack of color and making the dark lips and shifting colors in her eyes even more obvious. Her eyes are only sort of in the direction of the screen because she is holding the brochure in her other hand, flipping it over to see if there is any more explanation for whatever god had the audacity to pull her away from what she was supposed to be. And only a god would have that ability because there was no way any humans even in large numbers could have managed the task against her will.]This is unacceptable.
[Gaze lifting from the device in her hand to the surrounding city the Queen looks... annoyed. Which isn't the best mood to have her in but isn't all that uncommon either.] Handmaiden. [Now that sounds more like a demand than a randomly thrown out word. And it is. She's calling for the Leanansídhe and is even more annoyed when the woman does not appear. She'd call for her Knight if she thought he wouldn't run the other direction just to be difficult, he generally had to be suborned into service. Her eyes narrow as she steps out onto a street with passing people and they barely seem to pay her any mind which is not common at all.] Creatures of this demesne, explain.
[And that's about the time things start going frosty all around her, it even crackles into the edges of the screen, icing up trees behind her and something cracks as it freezes so quickly then explodes in a shower of ice shards and wood. One of the lower branches of a tree off to her left side.]

If that is you, I would calm yourself somewhat if possible. It would not be wise to make yourself considered a threat immediately, especially if looking for information. [Unless, of course, you are one. in which case.... it looks like it's actually going to have to be Her job to intercede because everyone else right now, rather amusingly, seems to be otherwise indisposed by some of the posts that have started being made.]
no subject
It would be wise for someone to explain. Who communicates with me?
[She thinks it's perfectly obvious she's a threat. It is who she is. Now if she can be sated is another story entirely.]
no subject
What we know is summed up in the pamphlet. There are several unrelated and otherwise related searches for information going on, but as of yet there is nothing found. We're in a place too far removed from heaven for my full capacity to be reached, so none of us as yet are omniscient. And so far there have been several kidnappings, and people are highly on edge while they wait for their comrades to be recovered. That is the explanation, and I re-iterate it would not be wise to be considered a threat immediately if you intend us no immediate harm. God communicates with you, as for the last piece of information you requested. [Now calm your shit down before she has to come over there and sit you in a time out :|]

Kidnappings within kidnappings. How very excessive.
[Her eyes glint and she smiles slowly, a hint of sharp teeth visible for a moment.] I am as much a threat as you are.

[Action]
Ha-HAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
[But she doesn't STOP on her feet, because there's ice. So off she goes, sliding and flailing across the street.]
It's slippery! I'm slipping!
[...She'll be right back, Mab.]
[Action]
[After a moment she lifts her other hand and a flurry of snow rains down in front of Orihime to give her some traction.]
[Action]
Did you make the snow? That's amazing!
[If she thought Mab was the same person as the Snow Queen that had abducted her over a year ago, she'd be a little more wary. But they both look and act different, so she's not put off. She keeps both feet firmly planted, shuffling one foot in front of the other to make her way back.]
I'm Orihime. Welcome to Genessia! If there's anything I can help with, feel free to ask!
[Action]
[The nod also acknowledges that she made the snow though she does not say it aloud. At least the girl shows some appreciation for her work as negligible as a bit of snow is.]
Orihime, [It comes out almost as though she is a native Japanese speaker with the inflections mimicking Orihime's pronunciation exactly. Holding up the brochure so the girl could see she looked at it, then back at the girl.] am I to understand that there is no means of egress from this place?

Well, you were kidnapped just like everyone else in the city. We don't know anything about the captors though.
[hey, they have the same color scheme! maybe they'll be friends.]
video
Child, do you mean to tell me that this creature or creatures who have taken me from my work have also done so to every other creature in the is place? [Disbelief is obvious in her face as her eyes lift from the screen to scan over the people who move about as though the place is home. Perhaps it is not as busy as some cities but there are many people. And their brains are not destroyed as far as she can see. They are not broken, they just appear to go about as though this is where they belong.]
video
[she seems quite unbothered by this fact. maybe she just got used to it... after all, she had everyone she needed here and it was easy to settle in with them.]
I couldn't believe it either.

[It's about then that he spots her post and the pit of his stomach drops out. She's right, he does want to turn and head in the opposite direction, maybe hide under the bed and hope she goes away.]
[But Mab's here, she's furious, and the city is full of people who have no idea who she is or why they should not go play welcome wagon.]
So, [he shows up on video a few minutes later, swallowing hard, but keeping an even expression on his face. You don't show weakness to Mab. Not ever. Especially when you're her Knight.] fancy seeing you here.
no subject
[Those inhuman eyes fix on his with intensity.]My Knight. Explain. [She doesn't appear as angry as she ought to considering what he last remembers from his own world. Most of the current anger is from the audacity of someone bringing her here against her Will.]
no subject
[So he'll get right on that soon as he has a sip of Coke here.]
It's a long story. I assume you've seen the brochures giving you the basics?
[It is weird how she doesn't seem... surprised to see him alive and kicking here. But it is Mab, and even Harry doesn't have the audacity to guess what's going on in her head.]
no subject
[A pale hand lifts the pamphlet into view, the pile of money and necklace also dangling from her fingers.]
The basics, in every sense of the word.

...Are people creatures?
Are people not creatures?
[Forgive her... She's not exactly the sharpest knife in the crayon box.] </>
Are they creatures? I always thought that people were people, and creatures were other things. Y'know, like monsters and stuff.

[When his face appears on her screen, it's scrunched up against the phone in excitement - she probably can't see much of him past his squished-up nose.]
Hubba-hubba! Ice King likie what he seeie.
Ice King [If voices could sound like water freezing in a sudden cold snap, hers would.
It does.] And does this Ice King claim to have the power to steal Winter away?
Re: [Video]
Looks to me like you've got super-natural ice powers too. Talk about a funny coincidence! We're a perfect match.

[private and possibbly the biggst mistake in the history of mistakes]
Nice to meet you, Karrin Murphy, I worked with Harry's Godmother on that business in Chichen Itza.
Not really sure why any of us are here, but I know whenever your kind get involved things tend to go badly for Harry. That isn't going to happen this time.
He's a good man, doing good work here, helping people. So if you need something there are plenty of people here who can help, but Harry's not a puppet on your strings.
So, small talk out of the way, I assume you are safe but need information.
[private and she wouldn't know how to change that if she wanted to]
And she gives her head an odd bird-like tilt at the mention of Harry not being a puppet on strings. One has to wonder if Murphy would like a physical demonstration of what kinds of strings she can pull involving the Winter Knight.
Mab can appreciate that fire. It's unfortunate that is means she's tossing off a bunch of disrespect. Mab is, afterall, prideful.]
Ms. Murphy. [Oh yes, she knows your name.] I can appreciate your loyalty to my Knight. I suspect it may even be useful to me someday and so I will not freeze the blood in your veins when next we meet. [There we go, threat given, time to move on to more important matters.]
Yes, information is precisely what interests me at the moment.
[private] to end
Ok, what we know is that this place isn't Earth, Chicago, the Nevernever or any related realm. Things work om some of the same laws and rules here sometimes but others not.
Like your world physics and dimension seem to be give and take in places.
There are archways that can lead to what seem to be bubbles of other places. Imitations of other places anyway.
