[It's not an illusion, or a trick if helpless, unsuspecting citizens of Genessia, happen to catch sight of a webslinging man in a blue and red suit testing out his limits in this new area. There's only one way to really explore the city and that's to shoot webs from his wrists and fling himself from rooftop to rooftop with all the care and bravery any teenager would.

Anyone in trouble? He'll drop down in a flash, even if it's just to help with carrying groceries. He is after all, the friendly neighbourhood superhero.]

[He should be upset right? But there's really only one thing that comes to mind at the moment.]

Woohoo! I don't have to go to school today!

[You know what is a dangerous thing? Lydia when she's bored. And upon seeing this person moving from roof to roof has her grinning to herself and just going to use a little bit of illusion magic to try and conceal a wall he was heading towards. With any luck that means he'll slam right into it.

Lydia can only hope from her perched on an outcropping a few feet up position, after all. Nor does she not make her magic use obvious given the gray glint from her fingertips.]

[Here he is, recklessly flinging himself through the air, minding his own business for the fun of it and he's so sure he's going to clear that wall, continue on his way and keep exploring the city.

That's what should have happened, but instead he slams into the unseen wall bodily, the impact jarring him all at once and he lets out a surprised yelp. The web he's using snaps and he starts to fall.

The good news is, he has good reflexes and a flick of his wrist to the roof will make sure he doesn't also land on his face. The bad news is that smarts.

He lands on the ground and jumps up and down, giving himself a shake.]

[Barely hurt, he's totally fine, no one saw that right?]

[He would hope, right? Too bad she's leaning back against that wall and bursting out laughing, that spell still up as far as she's concerned.]

Maybe you should watch where you're going next time! [She's calling in his direction, wiping at her eyes with a rather large grin on her face. At least Peter has managed to amuse her, so that's... a good mark in her books, at the very least.]

[She digs a spoon into the unsightly pile of mashed, bloated rice and questionable curry sauce. Mmmmmm, doesn't it look appetizing? She lifts the spoon and offers it with obvious pride.]

[he does happen to be carrying groceries now that you mention it. Two paper bags full of what looks to be ice cream. It's getting a little melty on him to be honest and he wonders if he overindulged just a bit but on the other hand it's not for him]

Spider-Man swoops in and lands next to the stranger who looks like he's struggling with those two big bags.]

[... well this is a bit surreal. Even for him. Not that he hasn't had run ins with do-gooders in spandex before but that was a part of some cosmic phenomena accidentally ingested by a small child, as you do. He wasn't expecting, well, a friendly neighborhood spider anything to swoop down and offer him a hand]

Depends, how fast can you run. Only I've currently got ... [he takes a moment to feel it out] rocky road double caramel leaking through my fingers.

[Spider-Woman was just out doing her thing. You know. Webslinging around while on patrol. When she sees ANOTHER spider person swinging around over on the next street. This catches her attention. Like completely catches her attention. So much that she instead of shooting another line and continuing her swing she swerves and crashes right into a window.

Luckily it doesn't break, but she does slowly slide down it a little before she actually sticks to it.]

Huh... Another spider.

[Spider-Man just doing whatever a spider can, only he's not on patrol per se, he's kind of joyriding his webs in a new place. It's practically like working, but not really.

He doesn't notice Spider-Woman, but he does stop for a little break on a rooftop to check his phone.

[Honestly it at least saved her self esteem that he didn't see her totally smooth spider moves right there. Last thing she needs is to be seen in "bug on a windshield" type of situation.

When she comes to her senses she glances around and catches sight of him on that roof top checking his phone. Jeez. She apparently had a lot in common with this spider, already.

Now that she was less surprised at this sudden appearance. She fired another webline over to the roof he was at and swung on over. She manages to land perfectly on her feet a few feet away from him.

Nailed it.

Oh wow. He looks young, here she thought she was on the young side for spider people.]
