[A small joke and he catches sight of her and waves back before poking at the device in front of him to try and turn it off, on the screen he looks completely perplexed by it. Technology has never been his thing - give him a journal and a pen and he's much happier, but here this video thing is and he's not that sure how to work it.]
[He's not sure when Winry is from, and with the news that Hughes is around, well that's just weird, but the last time they saw each other to him, he was just an inch taller than her, something he hopes is still the same.]
[She was used to seeing him in worse shape at least except maybe a couple of times. It was a nice change if she had to be perfectly honest with herself. She paused for a moment when she was at least closer she could at least tell the height difference. She wasn't that surprised at least.]
Of course, I'm safe. I mean since I arrived here not a lot has happened to cause me harm. [She turned around, looking back for the moment.]
I'll show you where the Commons are and where you'll be staying for at least the next month.
[Winry is clearly not amused before she sighs slightly.]
You don't need to kick anyone's ass, Ed. [Winry knew it wasn't going to take long to get to the commons due to the fact she knew by heart where it was at this point.]
I mean you can always eat over mine when again I get a place.
[She looked over slightly.]
Job wise? I only just got accepted into a position at the hospital. So officially I'm a Prosthetics Development Technician, which is the same as what I did back home but with different materials and I work at the hospital. It's a 4000 red bill a month job, so it's pretty decent.
I haven't decided yet, but once I find a cookbook I like I'll probably make something from that.
[It was always good to practice.]
Kind of considering I never worked at a hospital. [Though she didn't think it was a bad thing at least. She smiled slightly.]
But it is good and it is, though the materials are different. Kind of like the prosthetics we gave patients whole we worked on automail. [She nods seemingly determined.]
Never the less it's going to be a fun learning experience.
[She smiled slightly, she figured his reaction would be exactly that. It was a good idea to at least show since he was going to find thing place sooner or later.]
Yeah and then you have books shops in certain cities as well but the library is the place with the biggest selection. So I'm sure you'll have fun.
[Annnnd there he goes. She knew it wouldn't take him long to get stuck in. It seemed like the perfect time to look for a good few books herself, see what they had on certain subjects. So off the other wandered, to a different area to find perhaps a cook book or another in a field she found interesting.]
video;
[As far as she had seen most come with two bedrooms, so she knew if she was by herself she would have a spare.]
Maybe... Oh, I think I am nearly there now. Do you see me?
[She looks up from her device to check, waving her arm in the air..]
video;
[A small joke and he catches sight of her and waves back before poking at the device in front of him to try and turn it off, on the screen he looks completely perplexed by it. How do you even-
[Click. Got it.]
action;
Good to see you in actual person. At least you look okay and haven't broken anything.
[She was at least happy to see he was actually okay in person.]
action;
Yeah, I'm fine, I'm in good shape.
[He's not sure when Winry is from, and with the news that Hughes is around, well that's just weird, but the last time they saw each other to him, he was just an inch taller than her, something he hopes is still the same.]
You look okay. Safe and all that. Not hurt.
[You look nice Winry.]
action;
[She was used to seeing him in worse shape at least except maybe a couple of times. It was a nice change if she had to be perfectly honest with herself. She paused for a moment when she was at least closer she could at least tell the height difference. She wasn't that surprised at least.]

I'll show you where the Commons are and where you'll be staying for at least the next month.
action;
Yeah, okay. [He walks with his hands in his pockets, it's kind of cold to stay outside anyway, and he can feel that cold leeching into his joints.]
action;
You don't need to kick anyone's ass, Ed. [Winry knew it wasn't going to take long to get to the commons due to the fact she knew by heart where it was at this point.]
And I really hope you don't ever need to.
action;
[He sighs at her, well she definitely doesn't look harmed, so hopefully he wouldn't have to do anything.]
Alright fine, so...this place, seems okay? Safe and all that. Do you have everything you need?
action;
I do. Well nearly. I have to buy a few things for my new job here but otherwise, have everything.
[She soon stopped pointing ahead.]
That is the commons. it's where all new arrivals stay for at least the first month.
action;
That's good then. Ugh, I guess I'll have to get a job of some kind.[He nods at the commons.]
But do you know where the library is?
[The important things in life.]
action;
[She nodded before turning and pointing in another direction.]
It's that way. I assume you want to go there right now? [She would not be surprised, so not surprised that she is already walking toward it.]
action;
Sounds good, to know where it is. [He grins at her, ambling with her.]
What are you doing here?
action;
[She looked over slightly.]
Job wise? I only just got accepted into a position at the hospital. So officially I'm a Prosthetics Development Technician, which is the same as what I did back home but with different materials and I work at the hospital. It's a 4000 red bill a month job, so it's pretty decent.
action;
[He has only basic skills in the kitchen, enough not to die, anyway.]
That sounds good for you, I guess. Is it the same as doing automail? I mean it's in a hospital so it's kind of the same.
[Sort of. Maybe?]
action;
Never the less it's going to be a fun learning experience.
action;
I guess, I'm not sure what I'll do. I guess I'll have to work or something.
[He shrugs, what can he do?]
Unless someone needs an alchemist.
action;
[She smiled as she could see it.]
Speaking of which, there it is. [She pointed it out, still walking the whole time.]
As for work, I am sure there is some type of work you could do, going to the welcome center would be a good idea.
action;
I guess, if I have to. [Which he does.]
But it sounds kinda boring, I'd rather be traveling. [Even if he wasn't in the military, he thinks he'd like to travel everywhere.]
action;
[She had reached the door of the library, moving to open it.]
I figured you'd want to see the indoor, so you first.
action;
[He steps into the library and looked around from the entrance, all those books. He rubs his hands together.]
This is a pretty big library!
action;
[She smiled slightly, she figured his reaction would be exactly that. It was a good idea to at least show since he was going to find thing place sooner or later.]
Yeah and then you have books shops in certain cities as well but the library is the place with the biggest selection. So I'm sure you'll have fun.
action;
I guess, I don't really know what kind of job I want.
[He wanders to the shelves and starts looking, fingertips brushing along the spines as he reads what each book is, trying to select a good one.]
....uh huh.... [He sounds like he's not really listening.]
action;
[Annnnd there he goes. She knew it wouldn't take him long to get stuck in. It seemed like the perfect time to look for a good few books herself, see what they had on certain subjects.
