[ For once, the Jedi sits somewhere inside. There are mechanical parts and tools scattered all over the table before him. Currently he seems to be working what looks like some sort of cybernetic hand... With three fingers.

But he has stopped working and really just looks thoughtful, barely even focusing on the camera. ]

So... The future... It's not set in stone, is it? It's always in motion and regardless what anyone says, the paths we take are still our own. And if we know we're headed for a future that is bad... That path also can still be changed, right?

[ You might say he's been bothered... By thoughts. ]

[ Private to Cad Bane ]

I would like a word with you.

[ She thinks for a moment about the best way to explain what she wants to do, without going on about extreme details and past information gained, so on. Something simple and easy to sell, really. She does want people to be interested after all. ]

I want to start doing organized expeditions into the numerous unexplored areas in this world. Most people keep to the cities and occasionally wander out into the forest, but it isn't like there's anything particularly ongoing or well-recorded. We'll need people with a variety of skills to do it though, considering the dangerous this world presents. The scientific portion is important, but if we don't have people seeking out new finds for them to do science over? We're just going in circles and waiting for the answers to find us. The Genessia Scientific Research Foundation is about finding them, so if we need to change our methods to do so, I think it's about time we do.

[ It makes more sense than her own world to her right now, and it's hardly the strangest thing she's heard from other worlders. But there is a point of clarification she wants, considering it's one of Grievous's biggest concerns. ]

Can you manipulate minds with it? Grievous seemed to think you were capable of altering free will.

[ That's interesting to know. Weiss still is trying to piece together what's going on with this, but that certainly makes a difference. She's not the type to assume all of a certain group of people are of the same mind, especially when she learned her lesson with doing so first hand. But it's good to know that it is possible and it's a risk to be aware of, even if she's fairly certain Grievous's claims were more a perceived threat than an actuality. ]

I'm a fan of the direct approach myself.

[ Weiss can be good at subtlety. She grew up in a family with a father who owns the richest company on the planet and managed to manipulate it out of her grandfather and mother's hands. Which is also why she tends to be more blunt with things than she should be, because "subtlety" seems to do nothing but deceive others to get what you want out of them. ]

I'll count you in then. Welcome to the GSRF, Anakin. You're our first official adventurer, not counting myself.
