[Genessia City--Early Mornings/During the Day]

At the Library

The Library here was amazing--and Trunks may not be the type most would expect, but he actually kind of liked the building. So many books and subjects, and reading for fun was one of the few things he rarely had time to do. Not that he was entirely reading for fun now, as he's mostly browsing sections related to time travel and multi-dimensional physics...

At the Garden Park--Locked to Rose and/or Martha

Rose had asked to be taken flying, and the easiest time to meet and do so was probably during their usual meditation practice before work. Whether she'd talked to Martha or not Trunks was there as usual.

[Out and about--All Cities]

Checking on neighbors--Nova City, Heaven's Court Apts--Locked to Anastasia.

With the heatwave going on, Trunks is making it a priority to check on Ana. He's willing to also add her grocery shopping to his own, so she doesn't have to brave the heat.

Research--related to helping neighbors. Nova City, Heaven's Court Apts---Locked to Soma

Soma was the one who procured Anastasia's ruby circlet, which meant Soma was the one to talk to about how it worked. Just in case it went missing or broke. Because Trunks worried about Ana, and wanted to help, which meant understanding the tools she already head. Good thing he and Soma had gotten along; time to give the other a call.

Various shopping areas for errands

Feel free to run into Trunks at the Farmers Market in Attleton, or Pan Grocery in Genessia. Someone is the responsible adult, and actually glad to not have to scavenge for food anymore. Besides, it's good to have more supplies than not, when there are hungry half-saiyans and saiyans about. He might also be found around the Nova City Scrap Yard, or Sycamore Cycles.

Attleton--Colosseum--Various times--Locked to Bulla, Bulma/Mai/Cassian/Kaytoo/Dante.

Having a sister is an adjustment, and one usually gets ample warning--not a sudden 15 year old showing up. But Trunks is trying to learn and adjust, and Bulla has asked for training. He's not sure how much he can teach her, but he'll try. Besides, some people wanted demonstrations...

"Because I like reading books, and need information that can be found here." Too sensible an answer, but it's true all the same. "I didn't mean to disrupt your nap spot though."

"My naps get disrupted a lot nowadays." 'Nowadays' being since arriving at Genessia. To be honest, it's probably because he's always picking public places to sleep as opposed to somewhere like the woods, but it doesn't seem to bother him too much considering the grin never falters for a moment. "What are you searching for?"

"Books dealing with various theories about Time and Space, specifically the intersection between those often referred to as the 4th dimension. Mostly traveling between them and effects there-of. Also various multi-dimensional theory."

Ah yes! The science behind Time and Space. A top the Cheshire Cat knows absolutely nothing about. He follows as far as 'theories about Time and Space'...and the rest is lost on him. Not that he'll admit that of course. "It's a shame Time isn't here, or you could ask him about time directly."

"I'd certainly appreciate that opportunity as well." Because who knows, with the situation they found themselves in, in Genessia? There might be a being named 'Time' and it might be worth talking to them.

Trunks was a skeptic, but far from stupid.

"Well for now, I'd recommend this book!"

Reaches out and nudges one out of the shelf above. Of course he hasn't actually read it, but the book title has 'dimension' on it, so he figures it's probably relevant. "Do you have a past to change?"

In this section, they're probably all relevant in some way or another. Trunks was given sufficient warning to reach up and catch it, as Ches nudged it out. An amused chuckle at the title, and then holding it so the cat would appreciate Dimensional Relativity: how to have civil discourse at alternate-family reunions.

"Already tried. It doesn't work like that where I'm from." Honestly, the book isn't what he needs either, but it's amusing given his life. He can take it home for a laugh at least, since his mom, Mai, and his sister will appreciate it too.

"If it doesn't work you should work harder and maybe it'll work! The book should give you some new ideas."

Yeah...Ches sees that title but honestly has no idea it won't help. For all he understands, a dimension is a dimension regardless of the context.

"The book will definitely give me ideas, but I don't think on that angle, Ches." Trunks responded with a grin. "Honestly, that's also back home and I'm not as worried about that at the moment."

"Sometimes you just have to change the angle and everything else changes." The sentence ends with a wide-mouthed yawn. Ches rolls over on to his back and wriggling around a little to find the most comfortable position. Looks like somecat is about to go back to sleep.

There's a soft chuckle from Trunks, and he reaches up to move some of the books to help Ches find a comfortable position. "When you're discussing fourth dimensional physics, that is more true than you might realize, Ches. Have a good nap, alright?"

Ches appreciates the assistance, and shows it by nuzzling lightly against the helping hand when it comes close enough. "I always do." He closes his eyes. "Have a good..." A pause. "...physics."

Yes, physics.

Trunks is happy to give Ches a brief ear-scratch in response, before letting the cat be. "If I'm not having a good physics, something is very wrong with the universe. Rest well, Ches." Cats will be cats, and at least Trunks is used to them somewhat. Although Scratch was quieter at least, and didn't get into as much mischief.

In any case, back to searching for useful books while avoiding a napping cat.
