[ After the chaos of the past few days, with the fight a few days ago, Lucy'd been staying close to the guild until the worst of her coughing had gone away. Stupid smoke inhalation. Of course while she was staying at the guild, she was getting most of her writing done. She'd set her goal for the end of the month to finish her revisions. Also, she was in the company of a little boy as she made her way around town in Fayren and Genessia. Feel free to encounter her in the city or back at the guild later in the afternoon. ]

[ OOC Feel free to have anyone run into Lucy at the guild or in town ]

[ And later after acquiring a few.. things from certain places, she returned to the guild with intent of evil -- or mischief at least. Also if Natsu wasn't with Justyne right now, then he might be working on the house still and could use a break. So she called for him. ]

[Azula meant well of course. She simply lacked the kindness and tact of a lady. Specially when she was raised to be ruthless and powerful leader.]

What happened to the city was truly horrifying. Even now, rescue efforts are still ensuing.

We're both lucky we're still alive.

[Azula kept walking and took some time to glance back at the other girl with her golden eyes. For a moment, lost in thought before she spoke once more.]

You can do some breathing exercises to help hasten the retrieval of the full function of your lungs.

[ She was familiar with people like that - it was part of why she didn't take any kind of offense to that observation. Frowning slightly, she nodded. ]

We are .. with firey rocks and things hammering down from the skies the way they were, and buildings collapsing - the number of casualties could have been a -lot- higher. Everyone managed to save a lot of people, but.. there were still others who weren't so lucky.

[ Still, she shouldn't dwell on the people they couldn't get to. Distracted from that thought, she glanced at Azula, curious. ]

Breathing exercises?

Unfortunately. [Azula will forever remember that. It was horrible that the sun was blocked and the only source of power she had was her chi and the fire which she was trying to bend out of the way. She tried. She kept true to her promise to save as many lives as she could and ensure that Nova City had no problems with evacuation for at least ten minutes. No lightning. No Fire. She wanted to do more, but in the last minute her body gave in. It would have been her death too had Nonon and Zuko not come to her aid.] We just need to make sure it never happens again.

[Azula nods as she kept walking.] My power is closely connected with my breath. So, when I was three years old, to ensure I can maximize my potential, my tutors taught me how to breath properly. Doing this I was able to strengthen my lungs and expel anything obstructing my airways.

[Action ] Stop being awesome it's making my muse restless :D!!

[ It made her wish she had a spirit capable of dealing with fire properly - there was only Aquarius though, and she'd had no source of water to summon her. ]

Do you know if anyone found the person responsible?

[ Oh. OH. Y'know, it didn't even occur to her that a person with fire abilities would have breathing exercises like that. Natsu probably had too, actually. ]

I see... would you mind showing me how too? [ Oh wait, she forgot -- ] Ah, sorry- I never introduced myself did I? I'm Lucy.

[ Here she offers her right hand - and if Azula's encountered anyone from the guild she'd probably recognize the guild mark on her hand. Assuming she saw it from one of the others before. ]

[Action ] What awesome? I don't see it *goes to search*

[For a moment, Azula just looked at the girl and shook her head.] Unless the man was caught within the three days that I was out, I don't think anyone did. I'm sure if someone caught him, they would have proclaimed it over the network by now.

[Azula isn't aware that Natsu used the same techniques as her. As far as Azula was concerned, Natsu used magic and not his breath. Since that was the same thing most people used that weren't from her world.

For a while, Azula just stares at the hand and noticed the familiar mark on her skin. The same marks she saw from Gildarts' company that day. It wasn't often that she made friendly physical contact with people. She received plenty of lectures on it when she was a child and the only person she really allowed it with was Ty Lee, Mai, and Zuko. But here, she wasn't a princess. So she reached for Lucy's hand and shook it as gently as she could.]

I'd be honored to. I am Princess Azula of the Fire Nation. And you must be a member of Gildarts guild. The one called Fairy Tail, yes? Or am I assuming too much from seeing that familiar mark on your hand?

[Action ] It's on your back! :3

Then no, .. at least I didn't see anything about it.

[ Sigh. That figures. ]

People like that are rarely caught so quickly ..but hopefully those who've encountered him will mention at least who it is, or what he looks like. [ Something - Anything. She didn't drop her hand any, when Azula stared at it, but it did make her feel a little awkward after a while. She mentally sighed with relief when Azula shook her hand, eventually. ]

It's nice to meet you, Princess Azula. [ Her smile warmed, and she shook her head. ] You're right - I'm a member of Fairy Tail as well. I didn't know you met Gildarts.

[Action ] Lieeeeeeees /*runs away*

[Azula shrugs at that. The man was capable of blocking the light. Which meant she was still vulnerable against him, one way or another. This didn't bode well. Most especially when she didn't have her small elite team with her.] Hopefully. [She pitied those men and women whom she saw fall off this one building. One after another. She could only guess that's were the attacker hid. Yet, she was aware that she can't kill the attacker on her own. Hopefully, when they all find him, an organize attack can be made.]

[She bowed her head slightly before she proceeded to walk with Lucy. The tension on her face eased to give way to a short smile.]

It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Lucy. Any member of Fairy Tail has my respect.

[She was here for a short time and yet it was hard for her to ignore the guilds presence.] I met him over the network a week prior to the disaster. I helped him with the lightning that was about to hit him because of his arm. And he called me to help your guild prior to helping the evacuation process of Nova City. Pretty strong and admirable people. I didn't see you then though, but I've met a number of your guild members.

[Action ] Nooooo come back!

[ They could count on Fairy Tail being involved in that. They couldn't ignore what happened, even though it didn't happen in Fayren. ]

Fairy Tail is full of people like that. You probably met almost all of us in the guild already, if you were there. I wasn't with the main force - I heard someone calling for help, so I broke off from that group to help evacuate another building.

[Action ] /*shakes puffy face at*

[That much seemed apparent to Azula. Something which she'll have to keep on her mind for such future instances.]

It was an honor to work with them. It was unfortunate I had promised my aid to someone else, so I could not finish my work with them that day.

[She pauses at the memory before she looks ahead to the gate leading to Genessia City.]

I just need to drop these supplies in the tea shoppe my... [She paused. She wasn't sure if it was alright to divulge the fact that Zuko was her brother. It might bring complications either for him or for her.] where someone dear to me works. Then I shall teach you some breathing exercises. You can choose to come with me, or I can come back here where it is more serene.

[Action ] *pouts at*

Any help you were able to give them is appreciated, I promise you that.

[ Ahah, she nods once at mention of her task. ]

Oh! Of course - in that case, I'll wait for you here. I'm sure the setting will be more appropriate for something like breathing exercises, and I don't want to interrupt you from your task any longer that I already have.

[Azula simply nods at Lucy with the same curl ever present in her lips.]

I'll see you in a few minutes.

[She takes a few steps away from Lucy and then twirls towards the gates. Azula breathes in and releases her light blue flame from her boots and then rockets to the gates of Genessia.

ALL IMPORTANT TIME SKIP

When she returns 10 minutes later, her hair was lightly messed up on one side and in her hand, she had a boxed lunch. Death threats sure change sibling relationships. Somewhat.]

I should apologize if that took a while.

[Action ] But Azuuuuuuuuuuuulaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :(

[ Jeez what did she do get in a fight with Zuko over boxed lunch? Holy crap, man. ]

Not at all!

[ In the time Azula was gone, Lucy had found a nice spot to sit and wait, although she had an odd critter on her lap this time. She hadn't spent much time with Plue recently, so she had decided to call on the dog spirit to keep her company until Azula came back. ]

There was no need to rush on my account.

[Action ]No buts! No such thing in the fire nation XD

[Doting brothers. Sheesh. Just cause your little sister was almost dead and has a pacemaker in her heart, you try to force your care on her. But at least she won over the I-am-not-going-to-take-that-stupid-tea-which-reminds-me-of-our-stupid-uncle part of the argument.

She then pauses at the sight of the creature. At least it wasn't as big as the Earth King's bear.]

Is that your pet? Or did you just find that roaming around here?

[ Good god how'd that happen? Poor Azula, way too young to have a pacemaker.

Lucy smiled at Azula's reaction to the celestial spirit, shaking her head. ]

He's my friend, not my pet - I called him here, because we haven't spent much time together lately. You don't mind, do you?

[Action ] NO POUTING!!! *has to check on the butts when I rewatch*

[That's what happens when the sun is out and you still force yourself to bend lightning. She's not sure yet if having a caring brother is a good thing or a bad thing.

Azula bends over to get a clearer view of the Celestial spirit. She's never had one before.]

You're not allergic to him, are you? And he won't distract you?

[Action ] Awwwww *footscuff*

[ It's a good thing! Obviously.

Lucy grinned as Azula bent over for a better look at the spirit; Plue, for his part, waved a paw from his perch in Lucy's lap in greeting. ]

Pu-puun~!

[ Lucy shook her head at the latter part. ]

I could never be allergic to him - and he won't be a distraction. He'll be quiet - won't you Plue?

[ Plue nodnoded at Lucy with his little head. ] Puupuu-pun! ]

[Action ] *ALL THE POUTING*

[She's not sure.

And for a moment, Azula just stares at the little creature. Her face filled with confusion. The damn thing was so cute. She was afraid she might get distracted and not Lucy. How was she even able to ignore Ty Lee's similar brand of cuteness again?]

That's good. Then shall we begin?

I need you to squat. Do you know how to squat?

[ Plue's cuteness was off the charts, it's true. Still when Azula suggested they begin, Lucy moved Plue off her lap and gave him a head pat. ]

Squat? Sure - like this?

[ Squatting! Although for meditative breathing exercises she was more used to sitting lotus position - wait, was she squatting properly? ]

[Action ] No sad faces DX

[Too cute! For now, Azula ignores the ball of cuteness and focuses on Lucy's stance. Azula circles the blonde once and then taps her thighs and her back. Suddenly, she sounded like a general once more.]

Lower your hips and straighten your back. Keep both arms up and pointed forward.

[She goes behind Lucy to straighten the other's arms with her own.]

You need to ensure that your core is compressed. So that heat can transfer quickly and your muscles help pump your blood faster. Doing this, your lungs and your heart are forced to act accordingly. Regardless of any impediments, you're forcing your lungs to feed your body enough air.

[Action ] Awww!

[ She sounds a lot like Erza too, the way she was barking out directions. Lucy fell into shape, following Azula's suggestions until she was squatting like a pro, finding her center and breathing- almost tracking the breath in her body. ]

Okay, I think I've got it.

[Action ] *tackles*

[Azula circled Lucy a couple of times. Satisfied, she gave the blonde a smile. She allowed this to ensue for at least five minutes. Her body will shake, but it'll help her in recovering her breath.]

Excellent. Take a slow breath in through your nose, hold it for 10 seconds, then breath it out through your mouth, while you slowly find your way to a standing stance.

I need you to feel the air circling your lungs and pushing away any impediments caused by the smoke you inhaled before. Rid yourself of all the dead tissue and force your lungs alive.

[She then places a hand over Lucy's stomach.]

This is where your natural energy circulates. As you stand up, you need to push it up as well. Clear your mind of anything else. Just focus on your breath and your energies.

[Action ] You tackled my internet right off :D!

[ Lucy could handle it. It was the same principle as meditation; she was just pushing herself in a different way, fighting off the urge to cough when she held her breath. Though the breathing might be a little different, Azula'd fine that Lucy was a natural when it came to focusing on her center, and clearing her mind of external influences, a serious, focused look in her expression. ]

[Action ] I'm soooo sorry DX

[Azula noticed that. And she had a wide grin on her face as she watched Lucy concentrate and focus her energies.]

Very good.

[For the next half hour, Azula taught Lucy various breathing positions and kata's while making her focus on breathing. Azula did it beside Lucy, side-by-side. She showed her each move, as if dancing with the blonde. Afterwards, she ended with facing Lucy and giving Lucy a bow.]

I hope I was able to help.

[Action ] It's okay, I forgive you. :3

[ Aww, it was nice seeing her smiling. ]

[ She was a little out of breath from the breathing exercises, and slightly sore from the different positions at the end of it, but in all, she was thoroughly pleased, making a mental note to add these breathing exercises to her routine until it was as natural as... ... ...well... breathing. ]

You have - you've been a big help, Azula, thank you so much. If there's anything I can do for you in return..?
