[ After the chaos of the past few days, with the fight a few days ago, Lucy'd been staying close to the guild until the worst of her coughing had gone away. Stupid smoke inhalation. Of course while she was staying at the guild, she was getting most of her writing done. She'd set her goal for the end of the month to finish her revisions. Also, she was in the company of a little boy as she made her way around town in Fayren and Genessia. Feel free to encounter her in the city or back at the guild later in the afternoon. ]

[ And later after acquiring a few.. things from certain places, she returned to the guild with intent of evil -- or mischief at least. Also if Natsu wasn't with Justyne right now, then he might be working on the house still and could use a break. So she called for him. ]

"STRAWBERRY CAKE!" Most certainly not allergic. She stood well into Lucy's personal space, hopping up and down a little bit, trying to peek around her at various angles to get a look at the baked confection. Eventually she simply allowed herself to float into the air, looking down from over the mage's shoulder giggling excitedly.

Maybe it hadn't been the sugar from the juice that had made her like this... Maybe... Hopefully...

"You shouldn't just have a little piece. Have a big piece! Cake is a very special treat and should be enjoyed!... Unless you live in the devil mansion. Then cake happens a lot. Almost every day. Or pie. Or cookies... But we're not there. So cake is special again!"

A pair of arms wrapped around Lucy's shoulders, Koishi's hug surprisingly strong for such a strong girl. She remained floating, however, seeming almost weightless as a result, though her mass and inertia were not negated.

OHGOD she's like a hyperactive puppy. She turned and twisted in an attempt to find a clear path to move without tripping over the girl, only to phew when Koishi decided to hover. "Mm, but I have to watch my figure too. I've been looking after Nev and Justyne with Natsu all week so I haven't really been out on any jobs." Pause. "Though I think they make me run around even more than when I'm working, sometimes." She laughed, setting the plate down. "Here you go, eat up-" Augh LEGGO LEGGO LEGGO wait, aww, that's so cute. She cast a warm grin towards the smaller girl, setting a plate down for herself.

"You're the best miss!" Koishi quickly let go and dropped to the ground, zipping over to her plate. She picked up a fork, having to fiddle with it a bit, more accustomed to chopsticks than western silverware, before somewhat clumsily putting the first bite in her mouth.

Her happiness seemed to almost radiate off of her. Perhaps it was, considering her powers. None the less one would be hard pressed to find someone else able to find such joy in something as simple as a slice of cake.

"Ih oh oog iss!" The cake garbled her words quite a bit though the meaning was fairly obvious.

Lucy giggled, taking a small bite of her own cake, watching Koishi with a fond smile. Fortunately, Koishi's table manners were about as impressive as Natsu's (i.e. not at all) and she was verse with Natsu-mouthfull-ese, so she was able to get the gist of it.

"Be careful you don't choke on it, okay?"

Koishi didn't choke and finished the cake fairly quickly, kicking her legs happily under the table, licking her lips as she swallowed the last bite. It looked like she wanted to pick up the plate and lick that clean too but she refrained.

"That was so good Miss!" She awkwardly scooted her chair closer to Lucy one hop at a time, reaching up and tugging the mage down into the chair. "You should eat yours too! It's so good! You're the best Miss!"

Another hug but this one was tighter, the tendrils sliding from her sleeves to wrap around Lucy. They had a soft, almost powdery texture and had flexible rings spaced out inside to help them keep their shape.

"You eat too Miss! Then we can go do something. If we were back in Gensokyo I would bring you to the place with all the bright flowers. But we're not. Where are there lots of flowers here? That would be a nice place to go."

"Ahaaahaha, of course I will, of course I will." She promised. "But I can't eat it with your..erm.. arms around me like that, now can I, silly?"

Oh god. Oh goooooddd.

"So you like flowers, hmm? You know, I'm going to have to take a job soon, to help the guild out. Would you like to come along when I go? I'm sure we'll find all sorts of pretty flowers - and I can bring the kids along with me. I bet you'd get along with them pretty well."

Koishi shifted a bit, looking up at Lucy and frowning some. "Yes... I like flowers..." She slid up a bit, pressing a hand against her forehead. The tentacles had loosened quite a bit but they didn't go away. They were not Koishi's highest priority at the moment.

"Miss? You're shaking suddenly. And you're filled with crackling greens. Are you getting sick? That's really bad if you are. The flowers and nice things will have to wait. You need to get some rest."

She dropped her hand after a moment, taking her hat off of Lucy's head so the little youkai could touch her forehead against her's. "No... You don't have a fever..."

Lucy! You're upsetting the bitty! You monster!

"E-eh? Oh no, no no - No Koishi I'm... I'm fine." She smiled, patting the girl on the head reassuringly. Push aside the unease of TENTACLES.

"I'll get plenty of rest later, anyway. And I haven't taken the mission yet - I was going to check the board tomorrow and see if anyone submitted any requests.."

And.. and hat is gone~!

"Oh. Okay!" She went right back to the hugging, but the tentacles did start to go away, sliding back up into her sleeves. She let go after a moment, sitting back down and scooting her chair even closer. Or at least trying to.

"There! Now you can eat your cake. I really like you Miss. We should be friends forever, okay?"

She paused at the mention of 'the mission' tilting her head to the side. Absently she reached toward her hat, picking it up and placing it upon her head. Her third eye was swaying from side to side, a bit more in Lucy's space than it was before.

"Ohh. Mission. What kind of mission? Can I help? I bet I would be good at helping."

Until she shows up in Lucy's bed one day and scares her!

Oh thank spirits. It was just.. awkward. "Thanks Koishi - you're such a sweetheart." At the suggestion of being friends forever, Lucy laughed, reaching over to ruffle the girl's hair. "Deal!"

Um. Koishi. Sweetie. Personal space. "Hrm," Lucy looked thoughtful. "I don't know. Nev and Justyne have been saying they want to come along on one so.. it'd probably have to be something not too dangerous. But if you'd like to help, you're welcome to come along, sure! The more the merrier."

I... Wouldn't put something like that past Koishi. Though she usually goes for unoccupied beds.

Koishi leaned into the ruffle, laughing as her hat was squished down onto her head. She reached up to readjust it as lucy removed her hand, her smile huge. "I think you're a sweetheart too Miss! I bet you're as sweet as a peach and caramel tart!"

She tilted her head slightly, blinking. "You mean it? I'd love to go on any missions you want me on! I love helping out. I'm really good at it and I'm really strong too! You wont regret it!" She pounced on Lucy, squeezing her. "I'll make sure nothing bad happens, okay? Because you're my friend. And I don't want anything bad to happen to you." Koishi's third eye was slightly open, angled down and squishing itself against Lucy's cheek

"Sweet as a peach and a caramel tart?" Lucy laughed, that was such an adorable phrase.

"Of course! Buwaahg!!" This last as Koishi abruptly pounced her and assaulted her with LOVE oh HELP. Okay not really, but she didn't expect the pounce and squeeze! "Hahaha okay okay! Between you and Natsu we'll be the safest people on the mission ever. Just remember that theyre not all fun and games - sometimes we take on missions that are pretty dangerous, okay?"

Though she may fall asleep in it while its unoccupied. And then Lily might need to ask her to move.

"Who is Natsu?" She turned her head a bit, her glowing eyes and bright smile turning up to Lucy's face. "And Nev and Justyne? I've never met them before. And I've never met so many people with such unusual names!"

"Also, if I'm there you'll be super safe. I know magic and I can deflect people with my brain. I wont let anything bad happen to anyone!" She snuggled her face into Lucy again. She didn't seem to keen on letting the mage go anytime soon. "And even if its not a game it doesn't mean we can' have fun, okay? You humans especially. You don't live very long so you should at least enjoy all the things you do in some way, shape, or form."

More like Lucy will send her home, or to one of the guest rooms n.n

"Well, h-" AUGH. Okay she really needs to deal with this squeezing business, chuckling and prying the girl off of her. No clinging - she'd best get that sorted right away so the kids don't get jealous. "You don't have to tell us that. Fairy Tail is all about living each day to the fullest - and we already know that. Anyway, you don't have to worry about protecting me - I can hold my own, and Natsu is always with me."

That is if Lily even as the heart to move her. All snuggled up and clutching a pillow for comfort.

She did not come off easily, though her lack of tentacle-use kept the task from breaching into impossible territory. She laughed. "Oh but I want to protect my friends! I'm good at it. And I still don't know who Nasu and the other two are. Are they nice people? Do they like hugs and nice things?"

She finally stepped back, clapping her hands. "You should meet my sister sometime! She's a really nice person but somtimes she has a grumpy face. But she doesn't mean it. She's just so used to everyone throwing rocks that she's come to expect it."

Lily might not, but LUCY will :D Her bed is reserved for few people :D

"They're other members of the guild - Neveren and Justyne. They're not really big on hugs -" At least not from people they don't know. "And Natsu is..." Ahha, there's a lot of different ways to describe him. Make it simple. "Natsu's my partner - and my boyfriend." Although boyfriend seemed so .. simple compared to the complexities of their relationship. She wasn't sure how else to describe it though. "I'd like to meet your sister sometime, of course."

Well that's embarrassing x-x. I did it twice. I'm not totally awake yet.

"Ohhhh..." A pause. "Why aren't they 'big on hugs?' Do they get warm easily? I'm not too fond of hugs on days where the weather is much too hot." She was missing the point entirely. "Or do they have sensitive skin and don't like being touched- OH! Do they like to be the one to GIVE the hug? I don't want to disappoint them by hugging first. I'll do my best to remember that. Okay?"

She tilted her head. "Boyfriend? Significant other. Paaaartner." There was almost a song like quality to her voice. "If you picked him out he must be a great guy. Love is so pretty and bright! I want to meet everyone here sometime, okay? And we can all go on a picnic and we can have a lot of fun. I'll try to bring my sister but only if its on a good day. Otherwise too many minds and too many thoughts all chatting in one place make it too difficult for her to think."

"Mmm, I think it's just the way they are - Neveren and Justyne...had a pretty hard time before they joined us. And Natsu - it's just the way he is." He saves affectionate gestures like that for people he's close to.

Singsonging the word just made it seem more embarrassing, and she grins sheepishly, "Yes, of course! I think you'd get along well with Wendy too - we don't have to bring everyone at once." That would be a bit much for anyone!

Not really a sleepy thing... More just... I'm awake before noon for some reason...

((OOC: I'm assuming at this point either satori or koishi has given up something to get the palace of the earth spirits back. Satori and I have been talking about who is going to do it and what its going to be. We haven't decided quite yet but we will soon and then backdate it.))

"Then I'll get to know everyone really well! And then we can share all of the hugs and affection and do things together like one big happy group. Wouldn't that be lots of fun?" She reached down, grasping Lucy's hand. The little Satori was completely solid now, even if Lucy wasn't wearing her hat. Either Koishi was feeling confident and stable enough to remain so well-defined, or Lucy was better understanding Koishi's altered presence.

"Please come over and visit my sister and I soon. It's such a pretty house with so many nice things! And a garden and lots and lots of pets. Sis loves animals because their minds are very soothing. Animals are honest and simple. They don't judge you or throw rocks."

"It sounds like a lot of fun, yes!" Lucy grinned, patting Koishi on the head. "We'll come and visit soon, I promise." Just one or two people with her though, she doesn't want to put any strain on the other girl's sister.

"i bet it will be tons of fun. Sis has lots and lots of pets. And I can show you my little fish. They're not so little anymore!"

She looked like she was about to say something else but her eyes drifted to the table, koishi blinking a couple times. "Miss? You should eat your cake. Its really good and really sweet and is full of the best strawberries ever!"

A WILD SATORI APPEARS! ~( o)~

A knocking came from outside the door, and a faint voice could be heard beyond it. Koishi, if she heard it, would instantly recognize who it was! "Koishi? I know you're in there...it was hard enough following you every which way there is, but you've outdone yourself, this time."

The pink-haired elder sister didn't sound pleased as she entered the room, looking over Koishi a moment to see if she was alright. Like a good sister, she WAS scolding her younger sister about getting somewhere she shouldn't technically be, but it wasn't like Satori could /stop/ Koishi at all. She could hardly stop her from doing /anything/. She scanned over Lucy's mind, Satori's open third eye focusing on her for a second before she spoke, this time in more even tones... "Following your mental trail was a challenge, but I appreciate your work to keep my sister occupied. There's far worse places she could have stumbled into." No doubt that Koishi would enthusiastically greet her within a second or two, but she was, at least, somewhat accustomed to it.

Good thing Lucy couldn't tell when someone was scanning her mind - she'd considering intrusive and rude. Same as when Mewtwo did it without consent. "Oh, it was no trouble at all," Lucy smiled, getting up from the table to greet the other girl. "She's sweet. You're her sister, I take it? It's nice to meet you."

Sorry bout that. Post order fixed now. Or should be ;w;

Satori didn't get far. Koishi's gaze shifted as the elder sister entered the room, eyebrows raising, lips parting slightly. She stood still for barely a moment before zipping forward, becoming a green and yellow blur. She collided with Satori with a dull "oof", tackling her sister to the ground and tumbling several feet in a tangled mass of far too many limbs.

"SIS! YOU'RE HERE!" She was practically squealing in delight. "Sis! I did so much today! I can't wait to tell you about it! It was so much fun!"

It was a greeting Satori would probably expect to get from her energetic little sister, though that didn't make it any less startling.

Aaaaand fixing the order! Also, Koicute!

Satori gave a small nod in response, appreciating that this 'Lucy' girl at least had a positive demeanour. Her third eye relaxed a little and she moved over to check on Koishi for a moment before speaking... "You're quite right. My name is Satori Komeiji. I trust that my little sister's told you no end of amusing little tales about both of us. As one of her only caretakers, around here, I always must keep my eye on her. And the nature of her abilities makes it...rather difficult if she wants to get up to mischief."

And that was the cue for mischief, as poor Satori was hit head-on by her sister's typical tacklehug of greeting! Satori patted her younger sister on the head and whispered as she recovered, slightly winded... "When you're ready to make your way home, just let me know, would you? I'll be right here, until you are."
