[While Genessia has more than its share of benevolent dragons, leave it to Gellert to find a truly vicious one. The crack of what sounds like a whip accompanies the bellowing roars of the beast well. Gellert might look like a hero, silhouetted as he is by the dragon's flame, and he certainly seems unfazed by all the fuss.

But then he laughs and the sound is unnerving.]

Now, now, is that necessary? I just need a little blood. You won't miss a vial or two.

[He brings out the Elder Wand and he raises it, slashing it viciously through the air and...

Through the dragon's hide. Any blood spilt is drawn, with another quick spell, into a waiting flask. Of course the dragon doesn't like that at all. Gellert Apparates, bringing his audience along on a dizzying ride over the treetops, with the dragon in hot pursuit.

He shifts towards the mountains, where the cold air leaves frost on his audience's view. Then the communicator turns and Gellert is grinning wildly, madly, diving down into what looks like a mountain cavern.]

Wasn't that exciting? [With his feet on the ground, he ducks into the cave and brings out the spoils of his battle.] It is so very hard to acquire dragon blood.

[There follows an audible thump and he looks up.]

Poor thing. They want to bury me in here, is that it?

[He nods slightly at that, feeling some relief at that.]

Good.

[Albus smiles slightly before he adds:] Just know that I care very deeply whether or not you are hurt.

[His face flushes and his eyes widen slightly.]

...I feel the same way about you. It makes me feel sick to imagine you hurt.

[Gently, he sweeps his thumb over the side of Gellert's face in slow strokes.]

I will do my best to not be hurt, then, to save you the heartache.

[He smiles with a surprising amount of tenderness.]

Is that the only reason? Being hurt isn't thrilling.

It might be. I tend to be foolish with my own well-being.

Don't we all? What will it take for us to learn? [He purses his lips and traces over Albus's mouth with his thumb.]

[He smiles at the gesture, his hand settling on Gellert's waist, another quite reassurance to himself that he was still there.]

Someone to worry over us when we're hurt, I suppose.

[His eyes widen playfully and he caresses Albus's cheek.]

You have me. I will fuss like an old maid if you like.

I think I would like that. I'm not accustomed to being fussed over. It will be a special treat to know what it's like.

[He nuzzles close, holding Albus in his arms.] Poor Albus. I will fuss over you to an embarrassing degree.

[He laughs lightly at that, nestling in as Gellert holds him.] I'll look forward to it. I don't even know what such a thing would entail, really.

It's new to me too. I think I must rely on instinct. [He presses his lips to the bridge of Albus's nose.]

Perhaps you can feed me my sweets. I will kiss you in return and let you taste them on my tongue.

Albus, are you trying to arouse me? [He smiles slowly, predatorily, his eyes glinting.]

[He chuckles at that.]

Normally, I might, but you did just battle a dragon.

What dragon? [He smirks and entwines their fingers.] All I see is you.

[He squeezes Gellert's fingers lightly in his.]

That you do. And I, in turn, see someone who was just wounded not very long ago.

You're not playing along. [He purses his lips petulantly, laying back with a huff.]

[He smiles slightly, rising onto one elbow so that he can lean down and press a kiss to Gellert's mouth.]

You may seduce me all you like when you have not been so recently injured.

[He meets him halfway, returning the pressure with a soft hum.]

As long as you're not cross with me, I suppose that is acceptable.

Very good. As much as I delight in your attentions, I would be quite angry with myself if your injuries opened on my account.

Then at least keep kissing me. [He shifts until their foreheads touch.] I need to thank my rescuer.

[He smiles before obliging him, tilting his face to press a light, slow kiss to his mouth.] If you like, then.

[He parts his lips impishly, eyes closing in contentment.] Let me make it clear: I will never refuse a kiss from you.

Good. Then I will be generous with them in turn.

[Which he emphasizes with another kiss -- a slow, lingering press of his lips, savoring the contact.]
