Family Meetings and discussions (Video and Action)
Video--Locked to Bulla, Mai, Nappa, Seventeen, and Goku.
I want to be sure I'm not... Is there a way to check if someone's vanished, besides just asking about them on the network, or finding them ourselves? I can't 'sense' Mom or Dad.
Video---Locked to Rose Tyler and Jack Harkness."
Hi Rose, Captain Harkness,
I may have to leave Torchwood except as a consultant for hire. Mom has vanished, so I'll be taking over Capsule Corps here in Nova Corps full time. I'd still love to work with Torchwood when I can though, and keep communication lines open for business trade. Capsule Corps doesn't advertise it openly, but we do have a lab for research and testing, as well as a Gravity Room. Mostly it got used for training by Dad--but I'm sure it has other uses too.
At Holodeck'd and dealing with the loss.
Trunks actually hadn't used the Holodeck as much as Goku or others for training. Usually because he was training against someone, and the Colosseum was better for that--just in case. This time though, he didn't have any specific goals. Just needing to push himself, to exhaust himself a bit and let his mind work through things.
Some different locations programmed in--cliffs and ravines, a void-space that was designed to alternate its environment via extreme heat or cold, a place that resembled Capsule Corp's courtyard back in the 'past' world that he'd visited. Pulling opponents from the variety Goku usually used, since they had faces Trunks didn't know (as well as some familiar ones).
Pushing himself to deal with his grief, venting his anger. But he'd be open for company and talking maybe. Once he's exhausted. Maybe a training-partner before then too.
[OOC--Opponents you will NOT see him train against in Holodeck'd include: Vegeta, 17, 18, Zamasu, Goku-Black, Cell, or Nappa. Basically anyone he might actually be close to or lose his temper against...]
Holo deck
Once inside the Holodeck - The Doctor had to hand it - it is very real but Time Lord's eyes basically being computers could tell that it wasn't really real.
Whether now; Ten enters upon extreme heat; Gallifrey after all had two suns or extreme cold which he could also take at least more than the average human; doesn't appear to be affected by the environment simulated.
If anything he's listening and hears the 'swoosh' sound of someone in there.
Re: Holo deck
In any event, entering the room at Holodeck'd revealed the white void-space, with a platform extending only about 3 meters into the void. Ten had no way to know it, but others who'd used the Room of Spirit and Time would recognize what this location was modeled on. Which was why the temperature fluctuated and was currently in 'extreme heat' mode.
That 'swooshing' noise would indeed be someone in there--wielding a broad-sword. Against a horde of opponents, clearly with the difficulty turned up considering how the fight had gone in reality. Different races but with a uniform armor-scheme . The leader was obvious enough. Beam-attacks of various kinds flying, and King Cold holding himself back as his soldiers threw themselves at Trunks.
Trunks was weathering the heat alright himself, aside from being sweaty and without his jacket. Still in his base-form too instead of powered up. Both for the extra challenge and for a more personal reason.
No one had yet noticed Ten's arrival.
Re: Holo deck
He could sense that the heat was hotter than what is comfortable for most humans but you know - two suns on Gallifrey. Totally fine.
The Doctor notes the different beings - ones that he doesn't know of; of course.
Which is then when the distress; that Ten felt via low telepathic spots Trunks.
For the moment; Ten is just going to observe.
Re: Holo deck
Which they did, taking him for another opponent. "Oh, I wasn't aware you needed back-up." King Cold's drawled, arms crossed and eyes sliding over to Ten. "Can't have that, can we?" Raising up an arm, with a finger pointed at Ten and ki gathering at the tip.
Back-up? Now Trunks had his attention drawn to Ten. He'd been focused, his attention on the program and his own emotions, and hadn't realized when the other had arrived. Parrying another beam from the lizard-man with an arm-mounted beam-gun, before moving faster to strike back.
Time to pause the program perhaps?

Holodeck
Homura was pissed off all over again. Just as Mirai had managed to cheer her up, something else had to happen. Now she was down another friend, and being stuck in this world was driving her insane. She needed something to rage against. And when someone decided to use the holodeck, well...she wasn't going to be patient.
Screw their power. Screw the fact they could fly. And even screw the huge horned guy with a cape. She wanted to hurt someone. And she was making that painfully clear.
Bodies of her virtual foes already laid at her feet, cut up and burned for good measure. She kept glaring and slashing at the soldiers that tried to rush her. These guys were weak enough to be a good workout at least, even as they kept screaming in horror with every one she tore up or set on fire.
But she was far too busy to notice the bigger threat just sitting back...
Re: Holodeck
He was also starting to think he should've just used the one at the "Capsule Castle" as it'd been nicknamed. Except that was 'home', and where certain people weren't any longer. Which is why he had chosen the public Holodeck'd set up. This time on a blizzard and strong winds making it hard to see and maneuver among the cliffs and peaks.
Once again, he wasn't alone (beyond the programmed beings); but it was a public holodeck, even if he was using it to vent some grief and anger. Apparently not as much as the newcomer though, who waded in to the fray with a vengeance. Sticking to the ground though, and Trunks blinked as his brain caught up with who that was. Homura---they'd done a bounty mission together. Good, but not against King Cold...
The regular soldiers, as programmed, were trying to overwhelm with numbers. King Cold had been programmed to watch, and command, but to take advantage of openings. Which he had with Homura right then, as his attention had shifted from Trunks to the ninja. Trunks had kept himself in base-form for personal reasons, but this needed to be finished fast.
Yes, he could've just given the pause command. But what fun is that? A snarl and vicious slice at the taller-army-goon, and then scouters were exploding with the burst of ki and a shout. Super-saiyan level 1 was more than enough, slicing and slashing around him, before diving at King Cold with a yell.
Time to take that attention off of Homura and onto himself.
Re: Holodeck
As the goons were busy trying to blast Trunks, Homura leapt into the air, spinning around like a top as she sliced up two of the soldiers.
"You're fighting me, not him! ME!" she screamed, ready to dash in the air to another group.
But that's when it happened. They all turned around and kept firing on Homura, forcing her back to the ground with a huge volley. More and more the soldiers seemingly multiplied, using up all of their ki in an effort to put her down. She couldn't even be seen, the smoke from the blasts obscuring everything.
And just as they stopped, the scouter suddenly popped back on for the newcomers. It never went down at all. It just rising and rising, a fierce wind suddenly picking up. Fire ignited the air, a huge tornado of flames covering the battlefield.
And Homura was revealed in the center, clothes damaged, head bleeding, but her Nodachi had been drawn, and her hair crimson. This man wasnt the only one who could transform. Her other six swords flew through the intense winds, stabbing and slicing up the stunned soldiers. And all as she slowly advanced on the surviving ground soldiers, her eyes screaming murder.
Re: Holodeck
The fire and wind were new though and had Trunks pausing mid-air. On his guard, watching and studying. That wasn't what he expected! Aside from the blood, she seemed alright if in a rage. Not that he couldn't relate--but he hadn't seen this from the ninja before.
Video - ignore him being Super Saiyan in the icon
[Normally, Goku would take this sort of situation in stride with people from his own world - he knows they'd meet again when they go back home, after all. However, he's well aware that it's a very different story for Trunks.]
Can do. *thumbs up*
[Trunks is trying to smile, at least. It's far from the first time he's lost people at all.]

Re: private.
...I had still hoped, but...they're not.
Video; a few hours later
[It took almost half an hour more. She had to be sure.]
[Trunks not being able to sense either of them...there were a number of possible explanations. If she recalled correctly, Vegeta had a transformation that masked his power levels. And Bulma could easily have been working on some new experiment or technology that would hide her presence. Best case scenario, one or both of them were simply out of his reach for a short amount of time.]
[And at worst...]
I'm sorry, Trunks.
[Her voice was soft and solemn. Confident in what she had to say next, even though she took no pleasure from it; these were his parents, after all. And Bulma was still a friend to her.]
I searched through the database. Neither of them are currently anywhere in the system. They must have...gone back to the world they came from.
[Private]
That's...that's what I'm hoping honestly. We don't really have any way to know.
[Reaching up and raking his fingers through his bangs. Mai gets to see the hints of pain.]
I knew being here isn't permanent---that any of us could go at any time. It's just--
[Things had been going better! They'd even all gotten a huge home to stay together!]
Where are you right now?
[Private]
[At least they're most likely safe. And happy. Or so she told herself. It helped.]
Out. I stopped by the market on my way back. Picked up some more food for dinner tonight.

[There's a heavy sigh, Trunks resisting the urge to do more.]
You just got your business really going, right? I can see if they'll let me take over as owner of Capsule Corp here in Nova City. That's...that's the first step, I think.
[Business first, focus on what needs doing--he can fall apart later.]
Where are you right now, Bulla? Do you want me to come to you?
[Business and comforting baby-sister...]

[Distractions are an excellent coping mechanism.]
I'm at the studio. I'm a bit down, but I'm okay. I'm kind of used to the way the multiverse randomly sends people home.

Kind of wish I wasn't so used to losing people too...
[His second statement is murmured more quietly.]
We'll manage, I know. But if you need or want something in the meantime, let me know alright?

Holodeck'd
But this time, something felt off. A curiosity that got her attention as she was booking time. A monitor displaying a name and remaining time and the scene depicted. Trunks is here?
It appears its open to guests, so she enters. The temperate is unusually low. Her kind are highly resistant to frigid weather, and certainly not this low. However, she can't see where he is. Perhaps she'll wait for a bit... She can't stay long, after all.]
Re: Holodeck'd
Certainly the only thing about them that was giving Trunks trouble, was that whenever he seemed to cut one down, more sprang-up like seeds from the ground. Popping up from under the snow, like daisies. That he was imposing his own difficulty on himself by not going all out was a personal choice.
Anya needn't have worried as it soon became obvious where Trunks was, given a shout and an explosion. Followed shortly by bursts of light from ki-blasts.]
Re: Holodeck'd
But before she does, that shout rings out followed by the ki-blasts, making her shield her eyes from the sudden flash. It was definitely his voice and any doubts were erased.
She speaks up, but not able to project her voice due to this generated weather.]
Trunks? Are you there?
