Following the recent spooky happenings in Everglade and Fayren, people could use some time to wind down and cool off after the fact. Knowing this, Gale sent out a mass invite to come by Hangar Queen for a day of mingling. He's waving the cost of food and drink for the day (given what he makes, he can take the financial hit), so people can just relax and have a good time. A special note is made to remind people that all ages are permitted and alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks are available, with alcohol available for ages 16 and over. Just don't cause any trouble and Gale will see no reason to throw anyone out. The club's mascot is even there for pictures! So why not swing by, even if for a short while? There's nothing to lose. Except your time.

Just be prepared to hear Danger Zone played a lot. It's a moral obligation for this club. Sorry (not sorry).

[Even though the Hangar Queen allows teens 16+ to drink, Satou is being good and staying sober. She still considers herself to be "on the job," after all. Coming here is mostly to check the good and make sure everyone is recovering from the previous week.


... Also, free mocktails. She's sitting at a bar stool, kicking her shortie legs slightly as she samples colourful drinks in cocktail glasses. There is one slight, messy consequence to Satou being in a bar... Her empathy. She's sponging up some drunken emotions, and occasionally seems to be a happy drunk herself.]

[Noisy, noisy, noisy... And all to familiar. Anastasia was keeping to herself at the bar, her own drink in hand, until Satou started to het loud.

[Satou giggles, then gesturing at her collection of colourful drinks.]

Look at them all! These drinks are so colourful!

You probably could make a rainbow... [He quirks a brow at her. He was pretty sure she was sticking to non-alcoholic drinks, but the... goofiness suggested otherwise. He came beside her at the bar, flagging the bartender to get another draft beer (god, he really missed beer ;;)] How many flavors do you have there?

[Satou is all smiles and giggles, emphatically drunk as she points to her array of drinks.]

Uhhh... Lots n lots. But I'mma drink em all, no sweat-a-roo! [help this child.]

I guess that's very 'Plus Ultra' oh you! [Does she even know that's UA's motto? Oh well.] I couldn't even drink these before. Too much sugar. [He gives his thanks to the bartender when they give him is beer.]

How have you been doing with everything?

I’m okay! I moved outta my old place and into the office for now. [Homeless girl problems.]

And Genessia stayed safe last week, so that was good. You?

[She gives a drunken nod, too honest for her own good at the moment:] Yeah... It’s okay! I still got my puppy and Pokémon to keep me warm, so I don’t have to use the office heating! Funds are still a-okie dokie.

[This is hitting a little too close to home and he doesn't like it.]

[This silly girl crosses her arms on the table, almost ready to take a nap.

At least she's sponging up happy drunk vibes, instead of being a crying or angry drunk?]

Homura-chan left, n' now I can't pay rent. But! [She sits up again, flashing Toshinori a peace sign and confident grin,] No worries, Mr All Might! I'm an experienced homeless person!

[No don't tell him that, that just makes it worse!] I see. [He looks at her seriously and leans in, setting a huge hand on her shoulder.]

Satou... if you need help paying your rent we can help you with that. You shouldn't have to live like that. Or you can come to Fairy Haven with us until you figure something out. I highly doubt Mavis* will mind.

[Some of her excited drunkenness fizzles out. She looks up at him, legitimately confused for a long second. Oh right. There are adults in Genessia that she can trust. No one here knows that she's a mana well, so no one is trying to use her.]

... It's really fine, though. I have a roof over my head this time. I'm grateful, really.

[He just looks a little saddened by that. He squeezes her shoulder for a brief second before letting go and turning to just lean his back against the counter.]

Mm... I guess I can understand that. I just have a hard time with it. I don't like seeing young people forced on their own here. I saw too much of it growing up myself.

[He looks over again.]

Just keep it in mind, yeah?

[And be aware, he is so telling your dad.]

[Would sitting next to a man with rational reasons sober it? Or will he have to drag her out for a little bit? Time will tell. For now, he slides in a red one, while supervising her.]

[A bit. As her empathy picks up on Aizawa, Satou finds a brief moment of clarity.

... Enough to make her almost feel "hungover" from the exhaustion of her fake drunkenness. She leans against Aizawa's shoulder and groans.]

I think I'mma bit... drunk... somehow.

[He flatly says. He knows why she's like this. Meanwhile, supervising parent helps himself to some whisky. The other hand gently pats her head, it's okay, sponge this guys emotions before he joins the fray.]

You really need to work on controlling that.

Nihehee. But if I’m like this, I can sense who is stressed and sad.

[She’s certain some people are still haunted by the previous week. Her empathy will let her find the silently sad people and come cheer them up.]

Iz your drink good? It smells funny.

[Not him nope. He isn't haunted. But that pings a warning. He doesn't need her sensing that from him. Just stay sober. Can't sense the hint of aggravation or tiny fear from his experience, nope.]

No one is stressed or sad. [Mumble. Mumble.]

It burns throats too. [And he gulps it down like a shot.]

[She closes her eyes. Even though she tries hard to be working 24/7, she feels tired.]

Someone iiis. It’s small. It must be nearby. [Yawn.] Why do you hurt yourself with drinks?

[He picks up a tiny umbrella from one of the drinks. He twirls it in front of her. Distraction.]

[She opens one eye to see the umbrella. Though she briefly seems to be more interested in watching the umbrella than thinking hard, Satou does put two and two together.]

We don’t have to talk about it, if you don’t wanna. I wasn’t gonna push.

[With her magic, Satou causes the umbrella to begin changing colours.] It was a rough week.

[At least she's not... empathy drunk? He's still twirling the magical umbrella for her. The colors.

Dammit. If it was any adult, he'd just say 'shut it'. It's hard telling a kid off.]

Talk about what? [Yeah, he'll play that card instead. Doubt it will work. He sets his glass down slowly... the one hand still holding the umbrella gently locks Satou's neck to a headlock while the other hand gives her a good noogie on top of her head. Denial.]

I'm neither of that. You're picking that up somewhere.

[She’s about to pout and argue. If he doesn’t want to talk about it then that’s fine, but acting like there’s no problem is unacceptable—-

Instead, she yells and covers her head.]

[He's trying to get two or three noogies in. Whether it fails or not, he presses his forehead against her's next.

Just the way she said her plea to him, about worrying, Aizawa's demeanor changed, eyes narrowed, he looked quite scary.]
