[ Video / Action for Castmates ]
[ So the absolute nerve of attacking their guild aside, what may be a surprise to those who were there - and those who were responsible? The day after the battle, what damage done to the guild is restored to like it was never damaged. Strangely, there were no construction workers or people in the vicinity when it happenend. ]
[ Lucy was pacing her way through the guild, checking to see that everything was back to the way it was, before making her way up onto the roof and settling in outside there. ]
All right then. It looks like everything's back to normal - thank the spirits for that.
[ Even the little hut that Natsu had been building was untouched since the majority of the fight had been centered around the main building. She folded her legs beneath her in lotus position, proceeding to do just that - ah, but first..! ]
It's been a while huh? I've been away - [ And she hates the fact that she hadn't been near when the guild was attacked; though since she was with the kids it would be pardoned. ] -
for a bit, so how's about a little catchup on what's been going on outside of Fayren lately?
[ That said she ends the feed, closing her eyes to commune with the spirits that were kind enough to patch up the place. It wont' take long, feel free to drop a message her way. ]
[ OOC: I feel like it's been forever since I last posted something. Anyway, video catchall for any newfolks that arrived, and Video//Actiony catch all for castmates, new and old~~! ]

Re: [Action.]
Heh It's fiiine. I'll just have to make it up to her when we get home.
[It almost sounds like that's what he was aiming for all long. Surely not...]
Re: [Action.]
Hrm.. If you say so. He's a good man, but .. erm... difficult to be around for some, I think. He's alone alot. But he's a friend of the family, .. what's left of it. I'm glad for the opportunity for you all to meet.
[ Once the fish is stashed away, she led the way (quicker this time, because fish, p.u.) out of the room to rejoin the group, where Lucy was being made to stand and balancing a book on her head. Justyne and Nev were sitting on the floor leaning against each other, laughing hysterically. Lot of help they are! ]
I told you my posture is just fine..!
[ The elder meanwhile, sitting down again, waved a hand at her, coughing. ]
Nice young ladies don't talk back to their elders - now stand up straighter young missy! Hold your head up proud- don't drop the book-- Oh, Regine, you're back! Was wondering where you two got off to. [ His memory isn't so good either. ]
[Action.]
Yeah I got the feeling he's a weird coot but he doesn't seem like a bad person to me.
[Given how brief his exposure was to the dragon slayer, some would question the validity of a conclusion made so quickly. But his was definitely getting backed up with each detail learned from Regina.
Even so he hadn't expected things to progress that far in his absence. The fact that Lucy was actually doing this sort of silly thing proved how hollow her protests really were.]
We went to drop off the fish in the fish room. Didn't want them spoiling after all.
[Action.]
Oh Harold, really? [ Tormenting her friends so. Only it wasn't torment and a weird old man's way of having fun at a youngin's expense. Regine grinned, turning to Natsu, just as Lucy was stretching a little, a huffy pout on her lips. Hmph. HMPH! ]
Would you two mind taking the kids home? I'd like to stay with Harold a little longer.
[ She patted Nev and Justyne on the head briefly, but the kids certainly didn't mind heading back with their heroes. Neveren was starting to look tired anyhow - after playing all day, who would be surprised? ]
[Action.]
No problem.
[He did notice Nev's fatigue was showing a bit so he decided to liven things up a bit.]
So who wants to ride on the dragon's shoulders?
[The answer was obvious and he trusted Justyne had also noticed Neveren's tiredness.]
[Action.]
Me~!~
[ Justyne of course, had noticed her little brother looking tired, so she grinned, getting to her feet and helping him up so he could run over to Natsu, practically bouncing on his toes. Dragonback riiiiiiiiiiiiiiide~! Lucy hid a grin, warmed at the interaction between the two, before bowing politely to Harold. ]
Well, we'll see you back at the guild then, Regine. It was nice meet you, Harold, sir.
[ She'll even be nice for now, and hold the door for Natsu and Nev, with Justyne scampering out ahead of them. ]
[Action.]
See you around, old man!
[Action.]
[ Harold and Regine both waved as the small not-family made their way out, with Lucy closing the door quietly behind them all. ]
He was ...strange, that man. But nice.
[ Lucy reached down to take Justyne's hand, since the little slip of a thing was jealous that her little brother was getting a dragonback ride. But Lucy was also holding up her huffy behavior, even though it was hard not to grin at the sight of Natsu and Neveren on the way home. ]
[Action.]
Yeah he looked fun. He was definitely messing with you though. You had that book on your head just fine~
[Action.]
Hmph - maybe, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let you off the hook for leaving me in there with a weird guy like that.
[ She's teasing, of course, but it doesn't stop her from pretending otherwise. ]
[Action.]
Hahaha I didn't think you would.
[He's teasing right back of course.]
[Action.]
[ Augh why did he always make her blush like that? Or make her heart skip in time, and ..and all the little gestures from him just .. augh. why. ]
Well you do know me that well by now.
[ Ahem. She's fine. SHE'S FINE. She even swings Justyne's hand a little as they cross the bridge back towards the guild. ]
[Action.]
Well I'd be a shitty partner if I didn't~
[He still used that word just to keep her guessing which sense he meant when~]
[Action.]
Hrmm. 'Partner' huh?
[ Now, WHICH sense did he mean that in... it actually worked both ways. Sometimes she herself wondered how to refer to him. Partner? Boyfriend? L.. whoah let's not get ahead of ourselves here... she coughed, shaking her head a little. Honestly her brain was on hyperdrive today. ]
Is he asleep?
[ This from Justyne, who'd been watching Nev - who certainly did fall asleep on the way to the guild. D'aww. Lucy chuckled softly at the sight of the little boy. ]
You guys must have really worn yourselves out today -- here, I'll get the door.
Action.]
He did watch her after she mentioned that and even observed her mind go into those inevitable plains of possibility. When asked about Nev he listened briefly.]
Yup he's out like a light.
[He could tell from how peaceful and calm the boy's heartbeat was. After all it was so close to his keen ears.]
Must've been itching to get out and really go wild for a while now if you had all this energy stored up~
Re: Action.]
Yeah, kind of. Nev's always like that though. Before too. [ Before the snake ate their friends, that is. Which is telling enough, if he was able to go back to the way he was before. He was young enough to bounce back like that. Lucy couldn't help but wonder if the same was for Justyne though. It was something she'd have to ask Regine sometime. ]
You're not tired?
[ Justyne nodded after a moment. ]
A little, I guess. I want to stay up and read some though - can I?
[ Just in case Lucy fussed and made her go to bed. In fact, Lucy looked tempted to do just that - it wasn't HORRIBLY late, at least. ]
Weell... [ Lucy hedged a little. But oh no, Justyne's giving Natsu the puppy dog eyes. He'll change Lucy's mind, right? ]
Re: Action.]
However He did see Justyne's eyes and he actually flinched a little. That look was so unfair.]
C-Come on Lucy. It it's not that late yet so she can stay up a bit longer right?
[ Action.]
Natsu...!
[ Honestly! Talk about a sucker for puppy dog eyes. It was so cute though. ... She glanced at the smaller girl, a bemused smile playing across her lips. ]
All right, all right. One more hour, and then it's straight to bed, okay?
[ This appeases Justyne, and she nods eagerly. Woohoo, got the not-parents wrapped around her fingerrrr. ]
Okay, I promise. I wanted to finish reading a book in the library.
[ Well Lucy could hardly fault her that, right? How many nights has she stayed up late in the past reading? Or writing? She edged over to Natsu. ]
Go ahead and put Nev to bed, okay? I'm going to get Justyne settled in for the night.
[Action.]
[Yep but there were worse people he could be wrapped around. He chuckled lightly when Lucy finally caved. He wasn't the only one rubbing off on these two as obvious from Justyne's newfound love for books.]
That's the plan. I'll see you two in a bit.
[And with that Natsu headed towards the room the two kids were using.]
[Action.]
Okay then.
[ The one, and probably only, good thing about some of their friends going home, is that now Justyne and Neveren could have their own rooms. Of course, Erza's old room remained vacant - she didn't dare let someone else stay there in case she came back. ]
[ When he was finished putting Neveren to bed (and don't be the least bit surprised if the sleepy boy murmured a 'than's dad' in his sleep in the process), he would find Lucy in Justyne's room, tucking the little girl in. With Justyne holding a book in her hands, already engrossed in the story while Lucy made sure she was comfortable and warm. ]
[Action.]
[He tucked Nev into his bed but paused for a moment when he mumbled something that sounded oddly like...no that couldn't be. But the smile on his face was undeniable as he headed up to Justyne's room where Lucy was.
He didn't make a sound as he appeared in the door and put his finger to his lips behind Lucy's back for Justyne to keep quiet about him being there.]
