He's been hiding out for a while, laying low and observing the cities, trying to find his way here before making a move of any kind. And now that he's got a little more confidence behind him, it's finally time to make his big debut.]

Hey. It's your resident flying hero Hawks checking in, making sure that everyone knows I'm here and available. Very available. It's a hero's job to keep an eye out for both the big issues, and the mundane daily stuff. Both are important, so I'll be making my rounds regardless of how relaxed it is here. And boy, is it relaxed! This is practically a vacation.

[A startled cry can be heard offscreen, and Hawks tilts the phone so his actions can be seen. While he doesn't actually move from the spot, a large feather pulls from his wing and shoots towards a child who's falling out of a tree. Is it a potentially fatal fall? No. Something that could have left life altering injuries? Not likely. Is it something that could have hurt? Yes. So he uses the feather to stop the fall, supporting the kid until she reaches the ground safely.

She seems a little star struck. Hawks waves at the child, and then puts the focus right back on himself.] See, I'm not too bad to have around. Hit me up if you're in need of a little in the way of heroics. Or you just want to grab something to eat. I'm starving.

[No, not at first. Monoma doesn't stand out automatically, but Hawks doesn't show it. He actually seems more interested than he did in the initial video, a little more focused. He's acting as if he knows exactly who he is.]

I'm the winged hero. That's part of what I do. [Hawks holds up the camera so Billy can get a good look at his wings. He ruffles them a bit, and then moves the camera so that he's focused on his face again.]

So you're one of the local heroes, huh? [He knows things work differently here, that the set up allows for a lot more freedom for those with powers and abilities. So he's interested in finding out more about this 'hero' asking for a team up.] Yeah? Sounds fun, but I don't team up with just anyone. I gotta know that you're able to hold your own. [He sizes him up, with an almost comical smirk.] So what are you capable of? What makes you special?

He's still a bit on the slim side and still sporting that crazy and uncontrolled mop of blonde hair, but he looks almost nothing like the skeletal form that had been revealed on live national television.]

[Oh, damn. Hawks was told that All Might was here, but this is wild. Hawks never was a fan of the man, he'd always idolized Endeavor and preferred him as a hero. But All Might makes an impact somehow, despite that. Maybe it's just the idea that anyone can be dragged here. Or maybe it's that he looks so different now than expected.

It doesn't matter, in the end. The small moment of confusion, or perhaps excitement, is gone. And Hawks is back to cocky unimpressed brat mode.] Yeah, at your service, Mr. former Number One.

[Over the top? Nah. Hawks really impresses when he actually tries to show off. This was just a lazy bit of hero work. He didn't even have to look over for that one.
