8th Campaign [Video] / [Action] Backdated August 7th

[At roughtly 9 am, a young woman adorn in white appears in the feed, with a rather smug smile upon her features.]

Denizens of Genessia. Though it is behind schedule, the time is finally right to present the project I have been working on.

[The ground in the northwest region of Genessia City trembles. The shaking is strongest around the area of 12th and 13th street, though thankfully not enough to make buildings collapse. Anyone who has passed by the area before would have noticed a wall keeping civilians out, but what is in place now is absolutely nothing like what had been seen just the evening before:

What appears to be (from the outside) some sort of Colosseum stands in the area of Genessia city, atop a three story high asphalt hill.]

The construction of the school is nearly complete! I invite interested parties to meet at 12th and Hawthorne for a tour of what was formerly to be called Wily Academy, but now goes by the name of Second Honnouji Academy, located in Genessia City!

For those who do not know of me, I am Satsuki Kiryuin, Deputy Guardian of Nova City. Several months ago I had expressed my desire to bring students together in hopes of achieving unification. Unification so that we may work together as a productive, disciplined and motivated culture.

[The young woman's eyes narrow.]

However, following the calamity of Genessia City a mere two months ago, I have noticed that many have found themselves troubled by their self-perceived shortcomings. Therefore this Academy shall also become half Military Academy, to mold those that view themselves as 'useless' to become dutiful and organized emergency respondents.

Just so I am clear, those that arrive for the tour are not automatically considered enrolled in this academy. This is an opportunity to see what I have to offer, and obtain even more feedback- though based on the surveys many of you have filled out, I am confident that nearly everyone's needs should be met. I am also willing to answer any questions you may have, of course.

The tour will start at 1pm sharp and is estimated to be roughly 60 minutes long for the twelve floors.

[Gamagori just pounds his fist to his chest in salute before marking off the last few things on his check list.]

I doubt Jakazure - or Matoi for that matter - will wish to stay here with you stationed in Nova City, Satsuki-sama. It would even make me feel better if you kept Jakazure with you. In this place, I would feel safest if you kept one of us nearby at all times. Especially with this Mishima fellow lurking in the background...

Hmn.

[Satsuki isn't really happy with the information, despite it quite obvious being true. And honestly she had wanted to find some time to improve her relationship with Ryuko but now that Mako's back...

She's not sure she's willing to put up with that. Koishi is bad enoug, and the though of those two being in the same room causes her to raise her hand and pinch the bridge of her nose.]

Those are all fine points; I can certainly agree with Jakazure, but now Mankanshoku is in the picture.

That said, I will leave it to all of you to work out a rotating schedule.

[Hopefully that won't end up mess. And she completely forgoes any mention of Mishima. It goes without saying that she wants him out of the picture; she's been waiting for him make the slightest slip up.]

[Gama was not keen on the idea of Mako, Jakazure, and Koishi all being in the same room together either. Which is why - against his best judgement - he brings up something else.]

...I was actually thinking Mankanshoku could stay here as well. I would much rather have her somewhere I could keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't cause any trouble, and given that half of the quarters afforded for the Elite Four are currently unused, this would be the best option.

At the very least, it would keep things between Mankanshoku and Jakazure a bit more... even.

[As soon as the words left his mouth, Gama had the sneaking suspicion that his words were going to bite him in the butt.]

[It should go without saying that Nonon was going to be here. She didn't let a stupid thing like her part time job get in the way of the most important event to take place in this backwater little universe. While Gamagori had been by Satsuki's side, Nonon had taken it upon herself to make sure that troublemakers stayed off the premises until Satsuki was ready to admit the public. She walked up right as Gamagori finished making plans for housing.]

No problems yet, Satsuki-sama.

[She says that like she expects some.]

Are you making plans without me, dog? For shame! But you're right that we can't leave Satsuki-sama alone. With how many stupid people are around this place, one of them might try to do something.

[She doesn't think Satsuki is defenseless of course. Far from it! But even still, she isn't about to leave her alone. Part of her reasons are purely selfish, but her desire to keep the woman safe is true.]

...Not that you can just go and give my room away here, too. I'm sure there will be nights I need to stay here. Let the moron stay in one of the empty ones if you have to.

[Satsuki is honestly surprised there hasn't been any trouble yet; but then again it is possible that the groups influence in Nova City is strong enough to discourage smaller groups. A nod is given to the smallest of the group.

That done, Satsuki simply observes once Nonon speaks up after Gamagori's determination to be the Deputy Guardian's shield shines once again. There's no disapproving sound coming from her, so apparently she'll let the two work things out before moving on.]

I wouldn't dream of it, Jakazure. [He knows he would never hear the end of it if he gave her room to Mako.]

I was considering offering Inumuta and Sanageyama's rooms to them until such time that they were brought here.

As for me, I've already had all of my things moved here. Someone needs to ensure the school's security at all times, and as Disciplinary Committee Chairman, I felt the responsibility fell to me.

[He tucks the clipboard under his arm for a moment before something occurs to him.]

...Satsuki-sama... when was the last time we saw Wily?

[Nonon shrugs her shoulders in response to Gamagori's words.]

You always were the best of us at playing security guard, it makes the most sense for you to be here instead of me. And it isn't like I couldn't get here fast anyway.

[As long as she had her Goku uniform, she wasn't limited to ground based routes, after all.]

Yeah, what about this old guy? I never met him, but just seeing him in pictures makes me not like him.

[He might not have ended up with an unflattering nickname solely because of the fact that Satsuki's power was somewhat dependent on him in the past. But there is at least as much of a chance that she would just called him old man or something, too.]

It isn't like we need him anymore. Its best if he stays gone. He was probably gonna die of old age soon anyway, maybe that is where he is.

[No one ever accused her of being sensitive!]

That's exactly my point. We've been operating independent of his influence for some time now, and with the building of the Academy, we don't need him for protection or funding.

[He takes a few steps forward, to look Satsuki in the eye.]

If I may be so bold, Satsuki-sama, perhaps it is time you stopped being a deputy guardian.

[Good god, Nonon! It really is too bad Satsuki isn't the type to burst out into laughter following the girl's bluntness. She knows exactly where Ira is headed with his question though, and she sets her free hand upon her hip.]

I wonder if something like that is so simple. It is not yet clear if I would obtain the position by default or if I will have to partake in an election.

[She shakes her head; it is partially her fault for not looking into it sooner, but she was more focused on preparing her inevitable betrayal.]

[Of course Nonon wasn't trying to be funny. She had never thought of herself a comedian. She was just stating the facts. He was old, and he was gone. There is the possibility his world reclaimed him. There is an equal possibility he died in a ditch somewhere. Hopefully they wouldn't find an unfortunate surprise behind one of those locked doors in his form base of operations!]

It might not be that easy, but who else is right for the job? Its tough to imagine people not being able to see that you're best suited to it. Even the idiots that opposed this school would have a hard time making you out as a poor leader. And finding someone better? Not a chance.

[Naturally she isn't trying to flatter the woman. Its just the truth. Or at least the truth in her eyes.]

There is nobody more qualified for the position than you, Satsuki-sama. You've earned the trust and recognition of the people already as Deputy Guardian. It's only logical that you step up to take the position.

[He pounds a fist to his chest.]

And we'll be there to deal with anyone trying to stand in your way.

[Perhaps Satsuki was too wrapped up in her lack of an air-tight plan of action. Every now and then the trio's previous conversation about Ryuko's information nags her into processing as many 'what ifs' as possible.

But this time, Nonon's and Ira's words not just ring true, but really stand out as the only possible outcome.]

Very well, then it is decided. Once preparations are complete here, I shall register for the position. Which brings me to the next subject:

[Satsuki withdraws a photo from her pocket of a young, messy-haired brunette student in a one star female-uniform.]

You may recall that I have been working with a programmer for the software and hardware development for this school, and she will assist me in hacking the locks in Wily Tower. Her name is Chihiro Fujisaki, and she is currently undergoing training to become part of our Council.

[That's more like it! Nonon would have a hard time accepting anyone else in that position since it was a position that it made the most sense for Satsuki herself to fill. She might be younger then other potential applicants but...she was Satsuki. That meant that she was better.

Nonon might be slightly biased here.]

I hope no one is dumb enough to try and run against you. With the people around here not being properly trained, someone might actually try. It'd suck of the idiots put another idiot in charge of themselves instead of someone that can actually help them.

[But then out comes the picture, and Nonon is scrutinizing it instantly. She was only vaguely familiar with the person in it, and there is a lot interesting in that image.]

You managed to make a new uniform.

[First things first.]

And for a programmer, hm? Sounds useful.

[For once, Nonon is being completely serious. She can see the value in having someone talented with computers on the team. After all, it wouldn't be the first time.]

I doubt the toad would be happy to find himself replaced if he ever showed up here, though.

[For some reason she seems happier then she should be. Maybe she likes not being the only girl on the team now? Boy, is she in for a disappointment.]

[Chihiro held the laptop close to his chest. He was use to being this nervous and being like a weak person. It was what he was use to. But he knew he was here for a reason and he was wearing the uniform he was told to wear. Looking around he was wondering where she was and eventually found her.

Making his way over he kept his eyes to the floor, he knew he should be braver right now, but this was meeting new people and that still wasn't something he could do in person without feeling this way.]

He-Hello, I'm here like you asked.

That is true. [She has yet to meet anyone more preparted than herself for this particular situation after all.] And I have.

[And, somehow, Satsuki does not seem particularly proud of it. It was a difficult decision for her to make.]

Fujisaki has proven to fare well under ten percent fibers, and my goal is to get her to twent- [Her gaze shifts to the young programmer once he arrives.] Like Inamuta, Fujisaki's specialty is not in combat. Nor should he worry about being replaced, as her skillset is a bit different. For now she will be maintaining the school's computer and communication networks, and soon assisting in gathering data for our uniforms.

She has a few weaknesses she still needs to overcome, so I ask you be patient as she adjusts to her new situation.

[She then goes quiet to allow the others to introduce themselves.]

[Gamagori just looms for a moment, giving Chihiro the same look he gives all One-Star students. It may come off as intentionally scowly, but in truth, he just has natural resting scowl face.]

Ira Gamagori, Disciplinary Committee Chairman.

[That's all Chihiro needed to know for now, right?]

[The smallest of the people waiting for Chihiro fixes her eyes on the 'girl' the moment she makes herself known. A frown touches her face almost instantly.]

Whats wrong? Are you scared or something? I know the dog is giant and loud, but you don't have to be scared if you didn't do anything wrong. Or did you maybe break a rule on the way here? He's like a dog in more ways then one, he can smell it when someone isn't obeying the rules. You might as well confess if you did something.

[She allows silence to hang in the air for a moment solely for the awkwardness of it. Finally, she allows a faint smile to touch her face.]

Of course if you didn't do anything wrong, then that just means something else is the matter. Whats with that stuttering? You're either cold or afraid for no good reason.

[Yes, she did hear the request to be patient. This IS her being patient.]

Still, I guess you can't be useless. Satsuki-sama has seen something you haven't shown me yet. Don't make me wait too long to see your potential. If you're some sort of programmer you won't be joining any athletic clubs. That means that when you're not answering to Satsuki-sama, you'll be answering to me.

[Her arms cross in front of her.]

Nonon Jakuzure. I'm in charge of keeping the non-athletic students on their leashes. If you're any good at what you do, I'll make sure your leash is long enough so it doesn't choke you.
