[At roughtly 9 am, a young woman adorn in white appears in the feed, with a rather smug smile upon her features.]

Denizens of Genessia. Though it is behind schedule, the time is finally right to present the project I have been working on.

[The ground in the northwest region of Genessia City trembles. The shaking is strongest around the area of 12th and 13th street, though thankfully not enough to make buildings collapse. Anyone who has passed by the area before would have noticed a wall keeping civilians out, but what is in place now is absolutely nothing like what had been seen just the evening before:



What appears to be (from the outside) some sort of Colosseum stands in the area of Genessia city, atop a three story high asphalt hill.]

The construction of the school is nearly complete! I invite interested parties to meet at 12th and Hawthorne for a tour of what was formerly to be called Wily Academy, but now goes by the name of Second Honnouji Academy, located in Genessia City!

For those who do not know of me, I am Satsuki Kiryuin, Deputy Guardian of Nova City. Several months ago I had expressed my desire to bring students together in hopes of achieving unification. Unification so that we may work together as a productive, disciplined and motivated culture.

[The young woman's eyes narrow.]

However, following the calamity of Genessia City a mere two months ago, I have noticed that many have found themselves troubled by their self-perceived shortcomings. Therefore this Academy shall also become half Military Academy, to mold those that view themselves as 'useless' to become dutiful and organized emergency respondents.

Just so I am clear, those that arrive for the tour are not automatically considered enrolled in this academy. This is an opportunity to see what I have to offer, and obtain even more feedback- though based on the surveys many of you have filled out, I am confident that nearly everyone's needs should be met. I am also willing to answer any questions you may have, of course.

The tour will start at 1pm sharp and is estimated to be roughly 60 minutes long for the twelve floors.

[Satsuki gives Yukihime a silent stare, not really certain if the other woman is joking or not. Eventually she just ends up looking a little confused.]

I do, though I have noticed there are enough trainers in the art of combat. The current plan is to focus on formations, strategy, communication and vehicle training.

Not of the mech variety, mind you. Someone else will have to invent that.

[Yukihime looks amused by the reaction. After the parade of oddities that announce themselves every month around here, her old school life still sounds absurd...]

Disaster relief or whatever is one thing but I hope you aren't planning on taking them into battle.

[Satsuki fails to see what's so amusing, but she lets that one go.]

Considering the desires expressed to be 'of use', I am curious to know why you would hope such a thing.

Sending children to fight creatures mysterious and magical is a cheap way to spend their lives even if any of them understood what it means to be 'used' in war when they made that wish.

I see. Of course I have no intention of behaving so recklessly and plan to place individuals in tasks best suited for their abilities; should they volunteer. I consider all forms participation to be 'in battle'; the only question is if it is 'direct' or 'indirect'.

[She tries not to say it in a 'and that's final' sort of way, as she places value in Yukihime's input. Then again, the blonde isn't very shy about stating her stance either way.]

And you're fine with the consequences if you should judge poorly?

Really.

[Satsuki's eyes half-lid.]

I must ask; has anyone you have asked that question to ever responded with a 'no'?

You catch people, occasionally, in moments of impulse such that they have not even begun to anticipate the consequences of their actions, and have no ready excuse or rationalization. If the truth comes upon a mind suddenly or with great violence there is no defense.

You're well past that point, but look at this, you're attacking my question without answering. Do you really think it's that empty, or do you not want to fully consider whether, here and now, you have a purpose that justifies taking the lives of others into your hands?

[And, of course, a frown forms. She takes in a small breath. She let herself get defensive again.]

I apologize. Of course you would not know my past history. And I failed to consider while it may seem empty to me, it would not for you.

I am indeed fine with the consequences should I, somehow, make a poor decision.

[As far as she's concerned, there is little she will not do to see their situation move forward.]

Hmm, I'm always finding such evil minds amongst the cute little students. I think as an educator I should be dismayed, but...

[She certainly looks amused, instead.]

[Where does Satsuki even begin, there? Wait, should she even say anything? No.. Yukihime is probably messing with her again, and it's about as aggravating as it always is.]

I shall see you at one o'clock then?

For the tour? I suppose.

If your history isn't something you dislike sharing, tell me of it some time. It's true that I often think of people and events as only reflections of what I've seen before; if we're going to have these discussions I'd rather know whereof I speak.

I tend to be a bit cautious in bringing it forward because I feel the majority cannot relate. I have found out the hard way how easily alienated the people are; it is quite unfavorable when seeking a position of leadership.

[Satsuki shakes her head.]

But you raise an excellent point- it would be better if I explain it to you. Soon.
