Denizens of Genessia. Though it is behind schedule, the time is finally right to present the project I have been working on.

[The ground in the northwest region of Genessia City trembles. The shaking is strongest around the area of 12th and 13th street, though thankfully not enough to make buildings collapse. Anyone who has passed by the area before would have noticed a wall keeping civilians out, but what is in place now is absolutely nothing like what had been seen just the evening before:

The construction of the school is nearly complete! I invite interested parties to meet at 12th and Hawthorne for a tour of what was formerly to be called Wily Academy, but now goes by the name of Second Honnouji Academy, located in Genessia City!

For those who do not know of me, I am Satsuki Kiryuin, Deputy Guardian of Nova City. Several months ago I had expressed my desire to bring students together in hopes of achieving unification. Unification so that we may work together as a productive, disciplined and motivated culture.

[The young woman's eyes narrow.]

However, following the calamity of Genessia City a mere two months ago, I have noticed that many have found themselves troubled by their self-perceived shortcomings. Therefore this Academy shall also become half Military Academy, to mold those that view themselves as 'useless' to become dutiful and organized emergency respondents.

Just so I am clear, those that arrive for the tour are not automatically considered enrolled in this academy. This is an opportunity to see what I have to offer, and obtain even more feedback- though based on the surveys many of you have filled out, I am confident that nearly everyone's needs should be met. I am also willing to answer any questions you may have, of course.

The tour will start at 1pm sharp and is estimated to be roughly 60 minutes long for the twelve floors.

[Satsuki nods, confirming that they are on the same page about the incident. There's a moment of silent thought as she considers the potential offer.

She isn't being quite that wreckless. At least not yet.]

That is a close guess. One of the issues of the disaster was that the smoke and clouds were so thick that it hindered sky navigation for what few fliers we have. This would be a an attempt to counter that imbalance by training mundanes to pilot them.

Should Genessia City gain a Guardian, however, I doubt that they would be fine with 24 hour surveilance so, for now, this would just be for emegencies.

I also understand this likely will not be an inexpensive request.

Emergency rescue and scout drones, then. [He can still get useful information like this. Constant surveillance would have been a useful capability, but the most important and interesting data would come from emergency situations anyway.]

It's simply a matter of how many you're willing to pay for and how soon you want them.

[Satsuki hasn't the slightest idea what Lex's goals may be outside of profit, but regardless she doesn't see any harm in getting him involved in this. To her delight, he seems to be on board.]

For now I would be interested in having five for training purposes that I am willing to pay for. I would need more at a later date, but I would not want to do that without Genessia's Guardian co-paying.

So for the five.. How realistic is it to get them and training software by the middle of October?

If you only need temporary units for training purposes right now, I can simply import them through the Metropolis portal. I can't be sure what would happen to any imported material should the portal ever be closed, so for the real thing I must strongly recommend purchasing locally-produced units. A sample of several models for testing and training, however, I can provide within the week and for a very reasonable rental fee. Then you can see them in action and decide which models you're interested in purchasing.

The software, of course, already exists and is simply a matter of the standard licensing fees and contracts.

We have several varieties of aerial surveillance drones available, as well as ground-based search and rescue robots, all with variable levels of autonomy.

[These real life examples should give a decent idea of some of the options, though of course Lexcorp robotics would be much more advanced versions. The most common version of aerial cambots are probably small quadcopter-like things.]

[Satsuki seems a little surprised by the offer, even though she shouldn't be- But the level of technology Lex has at his disposal always manages to do that to her so far. ]

That sounds perfect; I wish to make use of the rental service then follow with your proposed plan of action.

[She'll have to count on Chihiro to determine what would be perfect mix of simplicity and flexibility. This leaves her a week to get the others up to speed which is more than enough time.]

[She'll need to think of some way to show him a suitable gesture of good will.]

Your business is all the thanks I need. I'm happy to be of help. [Really he was more interested in building up his influence with the probable soon-to-be Guardian of Nova City (a prediction which has now proven accurate).

He'd considered running for Guardian himself, but deemed it not worth the risk of losing to Satsuki and trading an ally for a powerful enemy. Positions of prestige were often not the ones really in control, anyway; any official titles Lex held were largely distractions from his real means of acquiring and exerting power.]

Ah.. Right.

[Satsuki manages to keep a neutral expression but the temptation to frown is strong. She has no experience in the businessworld and she's hardly (if ever) shadowed Ragyo, but is he really satisfied with just having her business?

No.. She's just jumping to conclusions because Lex isn't matching up with her vision of businessmen. There's no need to get on edge now.]
