[ Hey look, it's another teenager! A totally and completely normal teenager that has managed to scrounge up some clothes that aren't just whatever the hell he was wearing under his suit. Looks like a hoodie and some kind of shirt that looks like it might be nerdy? He tried for a nerdy aesthetic, anyway, which is hard when he doesn't even know what nerd culture looks like here. He's seated outside in Nova City somewhere, trying to figure out what to do next.
Anyway. He. Waves awkwardly? ]
Hey, um. I'd ask if people really just introduce themselves online like this without making it like "Welcome to My Star Wars Vlog And/Or Podcast" but I went back and looked at a bunch of posts and I guess that's exactly what it is? Which is cool. But weird? I'm weirded out.
[ Focus, Peter. Maybe breathe a little. He looks incredibly awkward, which is still only 50% of the Awkward Peter Parker Experience. ]
Anyway, I'm Peter Parker! I just got here like. A couple hours ago? And I have one really super important question.
[ Pause. Try not to look too excited. Look incredibly excited. ]
Did I see something about Pokémon? Like, actual physical Pokémon? Is that real or is this some super convincing AR thing? Because I'm down with both but if it's the first kind I am literally going to explode.

[Private Video] Warning! Likely will be Spider-Man: Far From Home spoilers
[And here's Mysterio, much as he looked when Peter first met him - and acting that way as well. All concern and earnest helpfulness. Yet he also locked down the video, just in case Peter got any wild ideas of blurting something out that Beck didn't want the public to hear.]
private until noted otherwise
That's rich coming from you.

Look, after the attack on Prague I found myself here. Alone.
[There's a hint of desperation in his voice - the anxiousness of someone glad to see their friend was alive. He could be feigning it or maybe he was from a real multiverse. Just look at where they were, after all. It could be true this time. Or he could just be outright playing up this chance at fooling everybody with a fresh start. Of course it's the latter.]
A day later - you show up. There must be another rip through dimensions. The Elementals could be on their way right now.
[A sense of urgency could be a great distraction.]

Action:
He hit you with a do-what-now? Did you say train? Pretty sure I heard you say train.
[ Is it a thing with all spider-teens to go from zero to angry in .01 seconds? Because it sure is with Gwen. Especially where friends are concerned and Peter is absolutely that. ]
action unless noted otherwise; FFH spoilers live here
I - yeah. Bullet train in Berlin. I really don't recommend it. 1/5 star experience.
Re: action unless noted otherwise; FFH spoilers live here
Really wanna ask what the one star is for, but I’m going to trust your certified Yelp review. And I’m kinda glad I know first hand from you that he’s skeevy and that it wasn’t just my intuition.

[She's never heard of those things before so she is quite confused.]
As for the pokemon, they're a real thing, but try not to explode, okay?
no subject
[ But more importantly. ]
Are you serious? I sort of couldn't get a straight answer out of skeleton dude so.
no subject
[Technology is not her strong suit.]
Yes, I'm serious. See?
[She moves the camera so he can see her Venusaur.]

Parker-san! My name is Souji Okita. Welcome to Genessia!
And yes! Those are Pokémon! Aren't they cute?
[ Yep. Nonchalant to the situation. ]
no subject
How is everyone so casual about this?
no subject
Well, we've had animals and beasts coming from eggs before, so these are different.
[ Not sure what to think of it but well! it is Genessia. ]
There are dragons here too. Big ones.

Romani understands. It's just like during the Carnival of Time, but Sis always says "no" until Romani is an adult.
[It's not fair!]
You mentioned Pokemon. Romani just started looking for them. Are you going to look too?

As far as I know, yes you saw actual pokemon. What do you mean by AR? If you mean holographic technology then as far as I can tell no, it's not that. They're real living and breathing critters. I'm not sure pokemon is the proper name, but it's what most people call them.
Name's Trunks, and welcome.
no subject
[ Anyway. Focus. ]
AR is kinda like holograms? Crappy holograms, mostly. So living breathing Pokémon? So much cooler.

[Everything else she understood, just not that part.Li and technology don't mix half the time. ]
Whatever, anyway. Yeah, that's what these things are or at least, that's what I'm told. Apparently you capture them in a ball.
[She pauses for a moment to pull out a pokeball from a beat up canvas bag she has beside her and shows it to her device for him to see. After a moment of fumbling, she presses the button and a deerling appears looking pretty shy before it slinks over to her trainer and settles down to press against her side.]
Also, don't explode. That's messy and you're not my kind of meal.
no subject
Um - well - they're mostly all ways to do stuff on the internet. Except AR, which is like holograms except crappy.
[ He leans in closer to the feed after a moment, awed. And - wait, alarmed?? ]
Meal? What do you mean, meal?
