At least they're past the part where Peter explains his secret identity, but holy crap he's sort of not ready for the rest of it. He winces a little, just. Sort of throwing up his hands, helplessly. As far as I know, yes you saw actual pokemon. What do you mean by AR? If you mean holographic technology then as far as I can tell no, it's not that. They're real living and breathing critters. I'm not sure pokemon is the proper name, but it's what most people call them.
