Log 02 | [Action/Video]
Good morning to those who were not murdered in their sleep by Mr. Mime.
[At this point, Gale was getting pretty sick and tired of hunting for these weird monsters that were around the cities. Sure, he loved the ones he's gotten so far, but he was well content on being done with it. How many do you really need? Plus he had other things on his mind anyway. Maybe that's why he kept dragging himself out, to keep himself occupied from the dozens of questions flooding his mind because of Aymeric's appearance. And now he has two of those master balls so he has to make at least one more trip out. But not today. Today he's at Garden Park looking pretty tired, and he's got a number of food containers with him. Delphox seems to be guarding them, while Gale is sitting next to them with his phone out.]
With the arrival of our... numerous new companions, I took to the library and located resources on food they prefer. [He gestured to the containers next to him and Delphox.] I've spent many an hour cooking a variety. If any would care to bring their companions to Garden Park to try some and pick some up, you're more than welcome. [A pause.] Do remember these are for Pokemon.
[He wasn't sure what else to say, but it almost seemed silly to only make a video just about offering treats to other trainers. He hesitated before shrugging.]
And for what it is worth to some, I am currently in talks for taking the "clubs" that my namesake left behind under my wing. T'is the least I can do for him, I feel.
[Fayren - Lioriley's Cottage (Private to Lioriley and Aymeric)]
[Gale had made several batches of the Pokemon food specifically for Lior, figuring she had quite a number with her between her own catches and Estinien's. And she put up with Estinien for this long, it was the least Gale could do in return. Not that he had any strong attachment to the guy (especially this one, the one from another timeline), but he had to repay Lior's kindness in some manner. Moreso since she played along with Aymeric's prank on the dragoon.
So he would eventually go to Fayren, with Druddigon and Delphox in tow helping him carry the food he made. It was... a lot... but Gale had spent quite some time in the kitchen and cooking. "Quite some time" translated into days, actually, but it's a good pastime and it meant keeping all the Pokemon fed.
Once he got to the cottage, he looked over his shoulder at Druddigon and Arden before adjusting the containers in his own arms so he could knock on the door with the back of his hand. Hopefully she was in, otherwise he'd have to either leave the food here with a note or carry it all back to Nova.]

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Gale! I - Uh. Good to see you. ( There's a lot of noise behind her, and it's easy to see the various pokemon running around her cottage. Thank god she has a lot of room in there. )
Today on group of idiots
Which turns out to be the perfect time for litleo to decide to chew on his coat. After kneeling down and freeing himself from such a fierce grip he comes around the corner to find oh, company. ]
This is a fortunate surprise. [ look there's a litleo attached to his coat again. Oh well. ]
they're not idiots, they're just..... dumb......
Seven hells, is everything all right? [Well, clearly not.] What is going on here?
[Suddenly Gale felt like maybe this food delivery was well timed. Arden seemed pretty concerned about the current scene, but Druddigon seemed to give a roll of his eyes. Not helpful, Druddigon.]

[She's...too shocked to even display a proper reaction, other than wide eyes and an open mouth.]

[He just wants peace from them. Why do they consistently harass him!? Thank gods he found someone to offload the one he caught on.]
But it would not surprise me if those things killed someone.
no subject
[She relaxes, now that she knows he didn't mean it literally.]
The Pokemon wouldn't kill anyone. They like to battle each other, yes, but they don't kill. They're powerful enough to not be killed easily. I even have several of my own that aid me.

Do you have a recipe, mister? Er, I mean. Sir? Sir! I've been trying to get my kitty to eat, but she is being picky.
no subject
[He gestures to the containers at his side.]
If you would like, you can bring her here to Garden Park and have her try for herself. Then I would know what recipes to give you.

I beg your pardon. Did you just say that there are mimes committing murders here? Killing people in their sleep, no less?
no subject
[He's lying.]
... perhaps not so, I am mostly being facetious. But I've been hounded by these damnable things since the Pokemon appeared, and I would put naught past them.
no subject
[A beat.]
No, I do not see. You are being stalked by mimes?

[The thought alone was honestly just amazing.]

[Maybe ravaging of the bowels at absolute worst, but if someone gets that from trying Pokemon food when warned otherwise, it's their own bloody fault.]

I'LL GLADLY PARTAKE YOUR GENEROUS POKEFOOD OFFER! MINE KEEP EATING THE RANCH V'TABLES. AS A WILD POKEMON MYSELF, I'LL TEST ITS METTLE!
[Don't question why he thinks that. It leads nowhere good.]
no subject
[All he wanted was to hunt without them pestering him. They are going to haunt his dreams, he knows it.]
You are more than welcome to take what you like for them.
[He pauses then, when Papyrus' words start to sink in.]
... I beg your pardon, did I hear you correctly? That you are a Pokemon?
[How and why does Papyrus manage to surprise him in some way every time they interact? What why how]

[Because you know, might not have always been able to afford to feed the one he did have at the time. Except in the last world because he lived with people.]
Is it bad that I didn't know until now?
no subject
[He gives a loose shrug.]
If they're content with your offerings, I'm sure it is just as well. Not that I am any sort of expert on Pokemon, of course, but that is why I sought out the recipes.

[Video] to action?
[Yes, the very same Itherael that Papyrus mentioned just a few threads up. The so-called "Mr. Mime Master."]
Your statement about Mr. Mimes is concerning. I have encountered several, and have one leading my party. Yet, it has made no hostile actions against me, or the other Pokemon with me.
Regardless, I wish to take you up on your offer, if you still have food to spare. I do not eat, but these creatures do. They have been finding food on their own so far. However, if they are to remain with me, they should be cared for properly.

T'is naught that a deputy needs truly worry about. My statement is mostly facetious. I merely have the... "luck" of encountering them on nearly every one of my adventures.
[He'd ham it up to everyone else and double down on the "Mr. Mimes are pure evil" thing, but if it's suddenly a genuine concern for a deputy, well. He'll at least shut that concern down.]
Of course. I made far more than mine own could truly get through in a conceivable amount of time. You're more than welcomed to take what you want.

Mr. Mime. You know. The one you gave away?
You fucking monster. )
MIME! ( It shrieks over the device, its face far too close to the camera lens. It stares, right into his soul. Lower this time it whispers: ) Mime.
no subject
And then he screamed.]
FURY STRIKE ME DOWN, IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!
[Most of his reactions to other people were hammed up and over the top, and it's hard to tell if this one was genuine or not.]
