WHO: Open to all
WHAT: Selina unleashes a fog and some 'kind' guiding lights.
WHEN: October 7th - 14th
WHERE: All five cities.

[As 6 in the morning rolls around on the 7th a thick fog slowly makes it way around all five cities, covering every nook and cranny it could reach. By the time morning arrived it's hard to tell it's even morning by the amount laying around. Should you go outside there appears to be a ball of light that is more than willing to guide you. Will you follow it or get lost trying to find your own way?

On the 14th the fog will suddenly disperse without warning and like it was never there to begin with.]

[OOC: If you want your character to bump into a monster please write up what one in the header and I'll tag back. Also to note Selina will not be wondering around and will most likely be watching from a crystal ball instead.]

[Among the many monstrous menaces awaiting the unwary in the frightful fog is the vicious vampire, DIO.]

[This is the problem with poor organization. Pidonus was supposed to be one of the villains for here, too. She'd hoped to get hooks in a hero or two, for her longer-term intentions...

Instead, she'd managed to run directly into Dio. She hadn't been following a light or anything, meaning her high-heeled footsteps may have come from a slightly different angle than Dio may have expected - but she hadn't exactly been aiming to hide, yet, as she ran into him.]

Er. Hi. Quite the evening, huh?

[Dio casts a sidelong glare over his shoulder at the succubus.]

Who dares disturb Dio? You were not led by lights!

No! Koishi! Don't go!

It didn't really take much to pique Koishi's interest but this fog certainly was interesting. And unnatural. It was fortunate she navigated subconsciously or her lack of sight might pose more of a problem. Of course all thoughts of her destination were forgotten when the little youkai's gaze fell upon a glowing ball of light.

She took off after the ball of light, running and then flying. "Wait! Little light! Come back! Are you a spirit? Will you play with me? Hey! Where are you going? Can you see me?"

The fog was perfect. It was the perfect cover for Lilith. She used the fog to, feed herself. Let's just say that when the ball of light led Koishi to Lilith, he dress was filled with blood. Around her were 3 infants born a few hours ago from Genessia Hospital. "Hi!", she said cheerfully if not mockingly.

Koishi stopped in her tracks when she was addressed, blinking, turning around in a circle before her eyes settled on Lilith. She blinked a few times tilting her head to one side before breaking out into a huge smile, her third eye perking up and swaying from side to side. "Hello there Miss! Did you follow a pretty light too?" A pause. "... I've never seen a mind like yours."

Her eyes fell to the infants on the ground, brows raising subtly but she didn't seem upset. "... You know if you wait for them to get bigger you'll get more blood out of them. But Miss Darkness once told me that the young humans were more delicious. Is that true?"

He just woke up in the Bay, so he could end up anywhere

Joruk was in for quite a shock when he woke up. Nothing about his surroundings was familiar. The last thing he remembered was getting trussed up by those peacekeeper guys. He still had cuts and bruises.

He took the papers, and other stuff. It looked valuable or important. The pamphlet had some complicated things written on it.

Once he left that strange cavern, he tried to look around. Everything was covered like a heavy snowfall, except it obviously wasn't snow. The ground felt more like sand, and it was nowhere near as cold.

Other than the fog, there was this odd light. He started to approach it.

"Hey! Where am I? What's going on? Wait up!"

If one follows the light it will slowly start to guide them through the city, carefully weaving through alleyways and seemingly guiding him to safety, but after what appeared to be forever it stops, just simply hoovering in the air before disappearing, leaving the other in the fog.

But there is a sound of giggling in the air. What could that be? Could there be someone near by? Will you find out or continue to try and find your way?

[Luke generally doesn't meander around at night. He's alone, after all, and he doesn't want to get lost or, worse, hurt. He isn't exactly that able to defend himself, after all. Just run fast.

But it's so dark, and there's fog everywhere. Making his way around town is almost impossible. He's already lost and discombobulated when he spies a small flash of floating light. Luke hesitates for a bit, and then begins to follow.]

She's in Genessia. Any monster or person is fine.

Sakuya was just getting off work, exiting the diner having already changed into a more "casual" attire when she spotted a glowing orb of light off to one side. Smiling faintly, the former maid relaxed some, absently stroking the case of her pocket watch as she turned and walked toward the orb, intending to follow it.

"Thank you Selina." She didn't know if she would be seen or heard, but she bowed her head slightly regardless. "I do appreciate it."

The fog seemed almost unnatural and reminded her faintly of the scarlet mist incident a few years back. It wouldn't surprise her if Selina knew of, or was the cause of the fog. Such occurrences were not uncommon where she was from. Still, it was at least kind of her to lead her to safety.

"As I said before, I have every intention of returning the favor when opportunity allows."

Why not both!

Bison had been looking for new talent since he had gotten back into the swing of things. Especially with the Halloween party coming up, he needed to secure his supremacy decisively.

Or, you know, punch someone and relieve some boredom. Either worked.

And so he found himself at the end of a path, which would surely lead some fool right to him. Whether that fool would be useful to the almighty Bison, or simply so much detritus to clean his boot of, only fate knew.

When his target saw fit to reach him, Bison would employ his trademark opening: appearing out of an oily, dark portal of shadow, arms crossed, and a menacing smile on his face.

Any villain, any city?

"Wow, the fog's thick today..." Karla muttered to herself. "It's just like that woman said..."

And also just like the woman said, there was a glowing orb floating nearby, beckoning her to follow.

"What's this? Am I supposed to follow it? I wonder where it leads...?"

Curiously, she began to follow it. It wasn't like she had anywhere in particular to go or anything...

As the lights led Karla off her track, a certain Succubus was watching her from a rooftop.

"Oh my. Someone's lost her way."

Pidonus' voice was calm, lyrical, and - most importantly - unfamiliar. Perfect for charming and manipulating her way into a first ally. Way better than her last attempt.

Carefully, staying out of Karla's fog-limited sight, she started to observe her foe, trying to size up their willpower.

Saleh had heard the woman's message about the fog and the "guiding lights," but he was a bit wary of following them, since she hadn't exactly said where these lights would lead them to. He hadn't bothered to ask either, but figured he would learn the truth when the time came.

He tried to navigate the thick fog on his own, but without any torches, he was finding it extremely difficult.

"So it's true..." he told himself, spotting the glowing orb. "Regardless, it seems I have no choice..."

He followed, keeping his guard up. Anything could jump out at him in a fog like this...

"Mamma mia...I think I'm-a lost..."

Stefano let out an audible gulp as he wandered blindly through the fog, confused and terrified. Thankfully, there was a glowing orb that helped him to see a little better, but it was floating away from him.

"Hey, wait-a for me!" he called out as he scrambled to follow it. "Don't leave without-a me!"

Shadaloo has a blubber quota to meet (can humans hear what he says?)

While Bison was away doing something wicked, he cast his net wide with goons patrolling the area. Being on the front lines without clear objectives caused the Shadaloo operatives some measure of discomfort, as this could very well mean them getting maimed, killed, and possibly made fun of.

Stupid as they were to sign on for something so redshirt, they weren't quite stupid enough to object. And so they waited, automatic rifles in tow, keeping their eyes peeled for fresh meat. What they saw next was...unnerving.

Two scouts stood watch. One put his hand to his forehead, trying to clear his vision and see what lay on the horizon. A sleek, shiny, grey form was waddling up to them. "It appears to be a...what in the world?"

Of all the people the light could have brought Stefano to, it brought him to one of the first evil beings in the entire universe. It brought him to Lilith. "Are you lost too?", she said with a smile. Though surely Stefano will notice the blood on her pretty white dress.

Crap. He did not expect this to happen in such a massive scale. He saw it, but he did not believe it. So mostly Gabriel is running around in his maintenance uniform with a sword. It wasn't his archangel blade, but just an ordinary angel blade - however it was sufficient to kill any and all creatures. He'll try to save as many as he can and try to say he was just passing by to help.

Nearby, Gabriel might notice a rather dazed redhead stumbling around in the fog. Having just evaded a couple of vampires - and lost a fair bit of blood in the process - he was left completely disorientated. He was sure that he'd lost the vampires by now, right? ...Right?

Ergh. His vision was blurring already.

[He'd not been expecting the fog to be quite this bad. It had just been settling when he left for work at the Cat's Eye Cafe, but by the time he'd finished, he could barely see. Even his Angelic senses werent helping much here.

Zelos had been debating flying above the fog, but in the dense weather his wings would be far too obvious. It was when he was considering that point that he noticed a small light in the distance...]

[Look at the pretty light Zelos, don't you just want to follow it and see where it leads you? For now it will start to fly in closer, but not close enough to be able to touch before turning around and floating towards a different direction.

What will you do?

Terra spots a ball of light within the tick fog and just stared at it for a short moment. She didn't know if following it was a good idea and she hasn't had a good record with good decisions lately. Even still, she was trying to get more confident so she chased after the moving light.

She stumbled over the ground as she continued forward her eyes fixated on the wisp. She wasn't a good runner but she was determined to try, her focus only on the object in front of her.

Selina had started to grow a little tired. So had decided to wonder and see in person what someone could do. The wisp should lead the young woman towards her as Selina slowly moved along the floor, looking terrified as a creature of a night slowly made it's way towards her; it's intent seemed obvious.

When Selina looked over she was most certainly hoping for the help. "Please....help me."
