You're fighting for your life inside a killer thriller.
WHO: Open to all
WHAT: Selina unleashes a fog and some 'kind' guiding lights.
WHEN: October 7th - 14th
WHERE: All five cities.
[As 6 in the morning rolls around on the 7th a thick fog slowly makes it way around all five cities, covering every nook and cranny it could reach. By the time morning arrived it's hard to tell it's even morning by the amount laying around. Should you go outside there appears to be a ball of light that is more than willing to guide you. Will you follow it or get lost trying to find your own way?
On the 14th the fog will suddenly disperse without warning and like it was never there to begin with.]
[OOC: If you want your character to bump into a monster please write up what one in the header and I'll tag back. Also to note Selina will not be wondering around and will most likely be watching from a crystal ball instead.]

She's in Genessia. Any monster or person is fine.
"Thank you Selina." She didn't know if she would be seen or heard, but she bowed her head slightly regardless. "I do appreciate it."
The fog seemed almost unnatural and reminded her faintly of the scarlet mist incident a few years back. It wouldn't surprise her if Selina knew of, or was the cause of the fog. Such occurrences were not uncommon where she was from. Still, it was at least kind of her to lead her to safety.
"As I said before, I have every intention of returning the favor when opportunity allows."
Why not both!
Or, you know, punch someone and relieve some boredom. Either worked.
And so he found himself at the end of a path, which would surely lead some fool right to him. Whether that fool would be useful to the almighty Bison, or simply so much detritus to clean his boot of, only fate knew.
When his target saw fit to reach him, Bison would employ his trademark opening: appearing out of an oily, dark portal of shadow, arms crossed, and a menacing smile on his face.
Yay! Both!
"Good evening." She gave a small bow, keeping her eyes trained on him. Something was wrong. It was like he was expecting her. Mild irritation began bubbling up in the maid. She had been lied to. Either he had somehow been tracking her, had gotten very lucky, or the orbs were not meant to lead a person to safety.
"... May I... Help you?"
Re: Yay! Both!
"For your sake, you had better." He slowly walked up to her, eyes scanning her neck for the telltale trinket that marked her as a pawn worth considering. If this was a useless sprite, there'd be hell to pay.

Oddly enough she still didn't seem intimidated, her lips thinning as she sized him up... She wasn't sure what she would be in for if things turned sour, but she certainly wasn't helpless.
"I'm afraid I can only assist you if you specify what it is you need..."
no subject
"Answer me, girl. Do you possess a necklace, marking you worthy of my attention?"
no subject
"Yes. I received a green one upon waking in this place. Is that all?"
Mentally she had already seized control of the spacetime around her, ready to pull herself through if need be. There was a faint aura around her. A sense of void.
no subject
Accepting, too. Bison took her at her word, more out of a desire to hurry things along and get back to business elsewhere than a tendency to trust.
With a slowly widening grin, Bison began his pitch.
"Good. Then join Shadaloo, and serve the mighty Bison." He wasn't much to waste words.
no subject
Though she was still in danger. That much she knew. She did not let her aura dim, nor did she make it any worse.
"I am the maid of the devil who opposes the gods. My Lady may be absent but I do understand how to respect power. However you have done nothing to give me reason to bend knee."
no subject
His grin widened yet, and he let in with a slide kick, turning up tufts of dust as he zoomed towards her.

While she would normally relish a fight, she was in no mood to humor this man. A position similar to the one she held previously would be welcomed but his lack of refinement was quite grating.
When she resumed time he would find himself with a deep cut on his cheek, the maid standing a short distance away, a large knife pointed at him. Her aura was still visible, especially prominent around her eyes and hands. "I am Sakuya Izayoi, servant of The Scarlet Moon. I will not serve an unrefined brute who could not bring a mangy dog to heel."
no subject
He touched his fist to his cheek, almost savoring the wound. He then clutched his cape at the shoulder, flinging it aside into the background. "What you are is a pest who has yet to learn its place. Do not worry; I will teach it to you."
With alarming agility, Bison leapt up to the air above, and stabbed his legs towards her head. Stomping heads was such a rare joy.

He was alarmingly quick, though already she could see he made a mistake. This time she did seem to move visibly, his elaborate move quite easy to calculate. He lacked the power of flight, and the aerial control that came with it. With amazing precision she stepped diagonally, simply holding her knife, aiming to let gravity make the cut. If he fell upon it it would drag up the back of his calf.
Already she had taken flight, possibly anticipating him to try to sweep her legs. Her eyes flashed once more, hand shimmering as several throwing knives appeared between her fingers. She was aiming to punch them into his spine. She wanted him to see it coming
She kept a close hold on time's fetters. Though she wanted to prove a point she would not hesitate to save her own life if need be.
no subject
Among that was his own ability for flight, another benefit of psycho power. He enjoyed himself, for a minute, analyzing his opponent as he hovered. "Seems you're full of surprises. Shadaloo could make use of someone with your talents."
no subject
She could already feel the adrenaline pumping through her system. It had been so long since she last had fun in a fight. A small part of her didn't want to stop... A part she was keen on ignoring should the battle end abruptly.
"You are not quite the mongrel I took you for a moment ago. My apologies. A brute capable of backing a claim of power, though far from godhood." She didn't lower her guard, but she didn't attack either, waiting for him to make the next move.

He alighted on the ground, then stood straight as he folded his arms in front of him. "Foolish girl. You will know despair." He let the pause in conversation hang for a moment, letting an air of hesitation hang about him.
In a blink, he was beside her, having used psycho power for a short-range teleport. With a burst of power, his legs went over him as he executed a wheel kick in melee.
no subject
It cracked but didn't break, sending her reeling back and bruising her forearms. She wasn't off balance, however, using her momentum and her own mastery of flight to throw her knives at him. She seemed to flicker and... Suddenly there were knives all around him. Surrounding every angle, the weapons seeming to hang there for a moment before continuing along their path toward him.
She wanted to see what he would do next to get out of such a situation, or if he even could. It was almost a shame she would probably have to kill him to end this. What did he say his name was again? Bison?
Well... Her own name was equally silly.
no subject
As he launched his largest attack yet, a thought went across Bison's mind. Perhaps he would have to use...dare he say it, tact? True, his ego was large enough to make anything like humility out of the question. Still, if he treated his own men reasonably well, then perhaps he might extend the same courtesy to potential recruits too. Much as he enjoyed beating people who talked back.
Well, whatever new strategy he'd employ for his eagerly desired employee, it'd have to wait until he was out of this situation.
Time slowed down to bit as his feet planted themselves more firmly. Some of the swifter blades entered his limbs, but he was focused. His whole body became shrouded in psycho power, and then it happened. "PSYCHO CRUSHER!" Launching himself past, and through, many of the blades in front, he drilled through the air, body spinning at malevolent speeds towards his foe.

Her jaw tightened, vanishing not a moment too soon, appearing above him, mid-arc in a jump. Two large blades had already been drawn, the maid's now crimson eyes alight. She was smiling, a grin wide enough to stretch and slightly distorted her features.
"Wounded Soul [Soul Sculpture]"
Calling out the names of her cards was a habit she should probably try to break for future fights...
Her arms moved in a flurry, too fast to see, her blades ripping and tearing at the fabric of reality creating a wall of arced crimson shock-waves. And though the attack bore a close resemblance to the Soul Sculpture she used in danmaku duels, the intention was quite different. These strikes would cause wounds that were far more real.

So, defend he did. Through a mixture of teleport spam and basic blocking, with a heavy dose of psycho power, he minimized what damage he could. Lucky for him that his body had the likeness of a construct, being able to operate quite well despite any trauma to the contrary. In the flurry of battle, he saw something strange. That Sakuya produced a mad grin, one strikingly like his own. Woman after his own heart?
Regardless, this was about as far he was prepared to go. A reckless part of him was chomping at the bit to release his Shin Bison form. But that would be utterly foolish; for one, merely killing someone, especially someone that until now had posed no real threat, wasn't worth it. For another, it would likely destroy his body for all the excess power it would generate. Lastly, he couldn't risk revealing the full extent of his ability so early in the game.
So, he resolved to relent. It was definitely risky. Bison was relying on Sakuya being one of those honorable types, who would respect a pause in the middle of the action. Still, he accounted for the possibility that her petty nobility had been consumed by sheer bloodlust. Well, if it came to that, he'd merely go back in his portal to fight another day.
Chance, at least, would give him an opening. When he had a moment, he put a finger to his ear piece. "A moment; I must take this." Apparently one of his goons had chanced across something quite ridiculous, and they wanted to see whether it merited further attention.

The maid wasn't the honorable sort. She had no honor save for that of her lady. But she was very disciplined, however, and danmaku rules did allow for one to pause the action in case of emergencies. So when Bison paused and began speaking, her rhythm lapsed, the red glow and bone-chilling aura dissolving, though space around her continued to ripple. She had to pause to regain her composure, flickering back a good distance, crouched low, coiled to strike. Her smile was gone, her expression cold and steady once more.
Irritating. This was irritating. She didn't want to stop. He was already wounded, already slowed. She could strike him down now... But the moment had passed, the euphoric rush of battle having scattered almost entirely. It wouldn't be too hard to fall into pace again...

"*sigh* I see. You fools keep the thing busy, and /don't/ let it escape." *beep*
Bison's smile had turned a bit wry. Any spoils he could take would be taken, of course, however farcical. He had wanted this one, but the prospects of acquiring her were looking doubtful. Such was the balancing act of any evil overlord; finding help strong enough to be useful, but weak enough to be pushed around. Worth a shot, however unlikely.
He plucked a knife from his chest and tossed it aside, turning toward her. He just realized something he had been missing. "What is your name, woman?"
no subject
She tensed, her stance lowering as he turned his gaze back to her... Her name? Had he forgotten already? "Sakuya Izayoi..." She decided not to point it out. It wasn't surprising that he didn't remember. Up to this point he hadn't really regarded her with any value. Part of her wanted to just end the fight and walk away, another part of her wanting to spill the rest of his blood.
She would wait and see for now...

"Well then, Sakuya, I'm afraid our fun has come to an end for today." As affably as Bison could manage, he removed another dagger. "Do reconsider my offer." He smiled as his hand pulsated another time with purple energy. "I intend to finish what I start, one way or another." That last bit of malevolence taken care of, he summoned an inky portal, and began to step through it.
Whether she joined or not, Bison did have to admit that he had whatever else, managed to amuse himself this evening. He'd keep an eye on this one.

"I will consider it, but do know I also do not relish leaving things unfinished. Hostility will be returned in full I hope you understand." A pause. "However I will seek you out soon to reclaim the rest of my knives."
