[People of Genessia. You wake up to this dashing face on your phone this morning. He's just kind of sitting on the edge of his little pod in the Bay.]

Jeez. Go figure you get a fancy pod like that and the first thing they cheap out on is the bed. Anyone else have a weird pain in their shoulder when they woke up?

Anyways, read the pamphlet, nice touch by the way, and figures I should get right down to business.

The names Alvin, Back where I'm from I'm a mercenary. I figure i'll just keep doing that here, so if you have any jobs that need to be done, just give me a call and they'll be done. For the right price of course.

You got a big pile of it in that brochure, it should last you a while unless you're planning to blow it all.

Well if that's the case then it sounds like things aren't a whole lot different here than they are back where I come from. I should have no trouble making myself at home here.

[But then again, so was she. It's rare for Yang to flip out unless she's REALLY pushed, and though she didn't like being in a weird city, she had a sister here who needed her, so that's where Yang was content to be.]

That so? Well I'll probably start hunting for one once I've gotten a bite to eat.

I can only imagine how long I've been cooped up in that pod, I feel like I could eat a horse right about now.

You know, I'm not really sure how long someone is in there...or how they get there in the first place. People just kind of appear.

That is a little strange. I imagine who ever runs this place doesn't exactly want us to figure out how everything around here. I mean then we'd be able to figure out how to get back, right?

Well, none of us have been outright denied information, but it's not easy to dig it up either.

Well the fact that it's hidden in the first place means there was at least an attempt to hide it.

Maybe not outright denied, but they certainly aren't making the information readily available.

[Yang considers him for a long moment. He seems kind of intelligent; smarter than she first suspected, in any case. She flips the switch to private.]

About two weeks ago some creeps kidnapped my sister and put her in a death trap. I'm trying to work my way up the chain to find out who was responsible, but I can only shake down so many clubs before they're onto me. Whoever did it knows I'm after him, too.

[She folds her arms.]

Listen, I know I'm pretty new to the area and you probably don't know me well enough to talk about what ever happened to you and this guy.

[Yang hesitates. This M guy has eyes in unexpected places. There's no telling how many cameras he's got set up, or even if he's monitoring her now. If he is, she's screwed, so hopefully he's sleeping while they're exchanging information.]

Maybe in one of the sub-cities. I don't know if I trust that guy not to listen in.
