Irvine Kinneas

[The video feed starts up and shows a young man in a cowboy hat. He doesn’t look all that happy at the moment, and that’s not just because he’s stuck here.]

I’ve barely been in this place a couple of days, and already I had to make repairs to my apartment. Is throwing a paper through the window what I should typically expect from the newspaper? Because if so, I’d like to just go ahead and unsubscribe now. I’ll just buy it myself when I go out in the morning.

[He sighs a little and looks to the window that he patched up himself. He had to go and buy materials to do so, and he was hoping not to have to spend his money on needless things until he got a job. He turned his attention back to the device. Now, introductions were probably in order.]

So as you can probably tell, I’m new to this place. The name’s Irvine Kinneas. Nice to meet you all. I haven't made much use of this device since I've still been getting settled in and all and trying to learn the place. Kind of an interesting setup that they have going here.

[The camera has a shaky view of the Bay but not the normal Bay everyone is accustomed to. No, the view is much lower tan usual. About knee height, if that.]

A little lower, Su-san! [The camera drifts a little lower and a young girl is suddenly in view. The camera moves a little closer and--] No, that's too close!

[The camera collides with the girl and she jumps back, shaking her head.] I think we're going to need to work on that, Su-san... [Her shoulders slump slightly.]

This place is really far from the lily field. I don't think I've gone this far before... Where's a place with a lot of flowers? Not stupid flowers like sunflowers, though. Good flowers.

[The aftermath of Eren at least being able to closeup the wall but finding out about the Female Titan has left a bit of a hole in her heart. They were all going to be friends and take back the world together, weren't they? Why did it happen the way it happened....

Sighing, she looks down at her device with squinting eyes and curiosity. Changing her glance, she stares at the forums, money and other goods that are given upon arrival.

This has to be some kind of cruel prank or odd joke... Weren't they on their way, riding towards the outskirts of the walls together? And Ymir was no where to be seen...

Looking back at her device, she bites her lip with a small shrug and stares at the camera.]

I think I'm lost.

WHO: Marco and Jean
WHAT: Bonding over death or something idk summaries.
WHEN: Sunday, sometime after the Colosseum match.
WHERE: Attleton's Battle Colosseum Medical Area
WARNINGS: Language and references to death and injuries.

The first thing that crossed Jean's mind was Shit, it's too fucking bright in here. He could barely squint before he woke up fully with a gasp, hands reaching for his chest once hit with a sudden flare of pain, only for it to dull to an ache and disappear fully as soon as he looked down. He vividly remembered the gaping hole, and the blood that had spilled out. Now, it was as if he had never stepped foot into battle in the first place.

This must have been what it meant to have a consequence free death. Revival or not, it still settled uncomfortably down on him. He had a lot to think about, and deal with now, and he didn't really want to do that here.

He swung his legs over to the side, getting out of the bed. He didn't really want to see or talk to anyone after his humiliation of a defeat, and he wouldn't know what to say anyway, so his goal was to get out of there as soon as possible. He just needed to get out to clear his head so he could think.
