The Sufferer ♋ Signless

Action - Anywhere )

[Voice]

And to think, here I'd been worried about waking up in Hell. When in comparison to such a world as this, my own could certainly be considered as much.

[The voice is definitely that of a grown man, one far too bemused at his current situation than most would be. He's not angry in the least bit, but beyond that pleasant tone there's a weight of tiredness he thinks he's doing well to hide.]

Obtaining a job is a novelty, something I've never had the luxury of. So I find myself at a loss where I should begin, or what I would be most qualified for here. Things are different, in the best possible way, and yet it brings about a revelation that men with my talents aren't needed in such a place.

But there's no need to dwell on such things. While I wouldn't mind job suggestions for someone who's experienced in public speaking and combat, there's much more important matters at hand, and the entire reason I decided to broadcast this.

What is there to do for fun here? My dear friend and I have only been here for about a day, and as helpful as the information pamphlets are, I feel speaking out and asking around is the best way to get information no matter where you are.

Larry "Pixy" Foulke
03 January 2016 @ 07:08 am
[Action; Intro fluff] )

[Pixy carefully made his way out of the Bay, hands tightly gripped around his pistol as he carefully scanned the area. He hesitated at the entrance, narrowing his eyes at the sight. There definitely wasn't anywhere in Belka that even remotely resembled this. He took a few steps forward, but immediately whirled around with his gun pointed when the hologram started its message. When he realized just what it was, he slowly lowered his pistol and listened carefully. 'Weiss Schnee', huh? That's a Belkan name if he ever heard one-- even if it was kind of generic. Honestly, 'White Snow'? Still, he hadn't heard the name 'Schnee' since his dogfight with the Schnee Squadron at the Round Table.

Still, anything that hologram was spouting sounded like sheer nonsense. The idea of being in another world was ridiculous, but at the same time, he reminded himself that there was no place even remotely close to this in Belka, or any other country he visited. This seemed more like a coma or a bad fever dream than any form of reality. Perhaps he was more wounded from ejecting from the Morgan than he realized, although it was odd that he still felt those injuries.

There was no point in standing there any longer when the message had finished, and while he should investigate the box's contents more thoroughly, he'll save it for now. For the time being, he's going to stick to carefully exploring the city with gun in hand. On one hand, he hoped to find a familiar face somewhere, but on the other, he hoped that wouldn't be the case. He moved slowly and carefully as the snow quietly crunched beneath his boots; the man clad in a flight suit and heavy brown, fur collared flight jacket with an
emblem on the left arm moved through Genessia City, clearly on edge to any bystander that'd see him. Approaching him with caution would be highly advised.]

Jerry Lewis
03 January 2016 @ 10:52 am
What appears to be a red-haired, ten-year-old boy appears on the screen; small for his age, but also with a rather adult face for his age. His eyes and demeanor also hint at a confidence and wisdom that can only be obtained from decades of experience.

"Does anyone have a set of clothes my size I can borrow? Just until I get into a clothing store to get some of my own. I certainly can't go out like this." ...Apparently, he's also very well-spoken for his age as well.

He holds up his arms, showing that he's wearing a pajama shirt that's much too large for him; as an adult, it was a little loose and long on him because that was the style, but as a child, it goes past his knees, and his hands are lost somewhere inside the sleeves. He's gone without the pants altogether, as they would just make walking a hassle; at least the oversized shirt is doing a good job of keeping him covered.

After holding his arms up for a few more seconds, he lowers them back down and ends the video.

Theodore (Ted) Satchel
03 January 2016 @ 02:55 pm
Somewhere in Genessia, a terrified boy is sniveling into his videophone. It's hard to tell anything other than his voice; the surroundings are pitch black. After a few sniffles, he finally gets it out of his system.

"H-hey, someone help me! It's really dark in here and I got lost. Stuff keeps bumping into me and I can't find the way out and it's really dark and I just wanna go home and-and...*sniffles*".

Ted bawls for a bit.

"Maybe...*sniff* maybe call a priest, but I don't know their number. 911 is just for cops, not priests so I dunno what to do. Please help..."

Lucina
03 January 2016 @ 07:58 pm
[Either you're around the streets in Feyren or behind your device... and what you can see is a little girl, six or seven years old, who is literally screaming from the window of her room over in the Dancing Donner and trying to climb outside only wearing an oversized flannel pajamas. What? Lucina picked the cheapest option when she had to buy new clothes for herself considering she's stil looking for a potential job and all. No, okay, she just has no sense of fashion. Still, the main issue is that the kid is trying to climb out of a window and she's clearly risking to fall down every step she takes.]

Citizens of Ylisse, help me! I, your beloved Lucina, have been kidnapped!

[She's expecting everyone to hurry and save her, For Naga's... she's the princess! Dad's little precious girl, and the criminal who dared to kidnap her even... took her clothes of to put her on that... horrible thing! She likes her polka dots Pajamas, not that horrible thing, where are the Emmeryn-faced slippers and her unicorn dolls? Well, at least no one tied her hands or anything else. Also, gotta grab the shiny tablet-thing, the sparkly thing must be some kind of magic item that may help her escaping! Oh, why couldn't she just wake up in her bed with mom, dad and her brother-or-sister-to-be in her mom's tummy?]

Genessia NPCs
03 January 2016 @ 08:52 pm
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

[And if you're one of the following people, and you happen to subscribe to the newspaper, the Paperboy may or may not have flung the newspaper through that person's window, at the person, and/or broke something in the area: Maria Selwyn, Kahlan Amnell, Flandre Scarlet, Glory/Glorificus x2, Mikasa Ackerman. Satsuki Kiryuin and Vyers get theirs placed nicely on their doorstep! With coupons. A few for free window repair. ]

Sakuya Izayoi
WHO: Castlevania Residents
WHAT: Age Event
WHERE: Castlevania
WHEN: Jan 5th
WARNINGS: None

Finally. The sub archways were open again.

Sakuya had been fetching tea for Patchouli when it happened. Her even strides broke, her ankle nearly twisted as her shoe shifted on her foot. The normally perfect maid stumbled, the tray she was carrying slipping. She reached out for her watch on reflex, her arm catching on her now too loose apron. Startled, confused, and very off-balance she was sent sprawling to the ground, china and silverware crashing around her.

A mop of untidy black hair poked out of the clothing pile of the now too-large maid uniform.

Whimpering, Sakuya shook her head, freeing it from the fabric. It took a moment for the pain to register, a shard of teacup deeply embedded in the heel of her right hand. She swallowed, trembling fingers reaching down to remove it, tears prickling the corners of her eyes. She hiccuped once. Everything was suddenly very large and very unfamiliar. Reflexively her left hand strayed to the fabric covering her beloved watch, quickly digging it out and cradling it close, knees tucked to her chest.

Conan Edogawa
03 January 2016 @ 09:31 pm
[A very familiar boy is peering into the video feed. From the irritated expression on his face to the cowlick on the back of his head, there is nothing to show there is anything at all different about Conan today.

Apart, that is, from the fact that this is the very first time in all the months he has lived in Genessia that he has ever been seen without his glasses.

He glares into the camera with a very put out expression.]

Oi! Can someone tell Mom to come out and stop with the prank already?

And where's Dad? Is he hiding from his publishers again?

[OOC: For the age change event, Conan's mind has reverted to match his age. Meet six-year-old Shinichi Kudo, who thinks he's just been kidnapped as a prank by his parents for a family vacation.
Again.]
