So, a short lecture for you today-- since, as you can see, I'm still on holiday. [he sips the martini through a suitably curly straw as if to emphasize this point]

Today we're going to talk about Quantum Entanglement. Or at least the very basics of it just to get you over the hump of not having my genius in your ears at a greater length.

To frame this in a way apropos to the upcoming holiday... Valentines Day for those unfamiliar-- and for a detailed explanation, please see Mordecai... let me take you back in time.

Gale Force and The Cat's Meow have teamed up for a limited special for the upcoming holiday- buy something at one company's business and get discount coupons for the other. So if you buy some treats at the Cat's Eye you can get some discounted drinks at Hangar Queen and vice versa. Offer's void on the fifteenth.

[Gale sure doesn't seem as lively as usual, especially for a "discount booze advertisement." In fact, he seems pretty frustrated with something. He's lounging in a corner booth at Hangar Queen, decked out in his usual uniform for the business and twiddling his butterfly adorned cigarette holder between his fingers.]

By the way, no one cares what side you're on regarding whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not. Chances are this place is gonna pull something weird and make everyone celebrate it whether they like it or not anyway. It's probably good that this place doesn't seem to believe in White Day or we'd just do this same song and dance all over again.

[He mutters something to himself in what sounds like Russian. Anyone who might know the language may catch him saying-]

[He pushes up his glasses.]

[Rey kept a watchful eye on the network, though most of what transpired there was of little use for her. She'd been keeping track of the days since she'd arrived, and the month's close was drawing ever nearer. She knew she had the occasional opportunity to assist General Grievous with whatever tweaks and maintenance he needed, but she wasn't quite certain that would be enough for her to get her own place.

And there was still a particular matter that had grabbed hold of her interest and refused to let go.]

I haven't been able to find this out in my time here, so here I am again. [She gives a conciliatory shrug, though she's not all that sorry.]

Who here works at the Nova City scrapyard? Anyone? Is there someone in charge of it?

[Yep. Rey's here to talk about garbage. At least it's not the Valentine's variety.]

[Hopefully no one was at the Bay when Prunella finally got herself out of her pod, because she spent about ten minutes being very distressed. This is what happens when you podnap an aquaphobic person, and she wasn't very quiet either.

But hey, she got out of the pod without having to go in the water and listened to the welcome hologram and read some pamphlets to calm down. It is while she's on her way to the Welcome Center that she finally plays with the device, sees/hears some of the posts on the network and finally speaks up.]

... It's very distressing to wake up in a a... Lake and have it be about seven months in the past. Is this normal for this place to do this?

[She'd sound more bothered by the fact that she went from September to February if she still wasn't hung up on the Bay.]

[Because giving concerts on the comm is always the cool new thing okay okay.]

[Although "concert" is a stretch, but it's on a stage, and Rose Tyler plays a cover of Audioslave's Doesn't Remind Me, singing and playing bass.]

[Afterwards when she uploads the clip of it she adds:] What do you like just for what it doesn't remind you of?

[For action: Rose's new hangout is a tea shop in Genessia, especially showing Koishi the way the dragon pearls unfold and some forming lotus blossom designs in the bottom.]

[And then there's the formal date with 10. She's been putting it off, but she takes him ice skating and through the park, even on the swanboats despite it being the dead of winter. You'd think after recent events she'd be sick of ice and snow, but nope, not Rose. Not ever.]

[And in the Everglade, you'd think the human would draw more attention, but she walks about confidently and puts up posters advertising Torchwood Services and alternative food sources.]
