Who: The Doctor and you!
What: A Halloween Concert worth remembering! (and a little bit of entertainment beforehand)
When: October 30th
Where: Nova City
( Pre-Show Halloween Fun! )
[the stage is dark save for the footlights which glow an eerie pale blue. After a moment, smoke begins to pour from somewhere unseen, the footlights dim, the air smells faintly of candy corn. A short while later a single electric guitar begins to play a haunting melody, which quickly begins to rock out as he a neon blue skeleton rises onto the stage in the smoke, playing a guitar that looks like its made of a spinal cord and ribs, glowing white. Another green skeleton with a pale gray bass guitar rises in near sync.
He plays out, fading the end as a moon rises on the screen behind him and bats fly in holographs out into the audience.]
Good evening, Nova City. I'm feeling a little thin these days. A little hollow. A little worn. But here enough to entertain you. [a little black starts to creep into the moon, rounding out here and there, as it slowly begins to turn into a skull]
I see some old faces and new faces, but I think before I begin I should [he grins. Or rather, as a skull, that's the only expression he can have] introduce myself.
[He begins to sing a little sympathy for the Devil, the foot lights flashing on as the song ramps up and flickering on him as he plays, showing him with a white skull mask and a matching top hat and bone white flowers. Behind him the skull moon begins to gape as if it will scream]

[ Regan is using her device today to introduce herself to the town at large and she looks a lot better than she did before. For starters, her clothing is new and her hair is tied back in two semi messy French braids. And she’s in a bedroom that’s starting to show signs of a young girl living in it. To her left on the desk she’s propped her device on, a white board and colorful erasable markers. To the right? A pile of cochlear devices. She picks up the whiteboard and scribbles out a message for all to read. ]
Hi! My name is Regan. I’ve only been in town for a couple weeks and I have a question.

I was born deaf, so I use American Sign Language to communicate. Back home, I had a lot of people in my life who understood it and could communicate back. But here? I don’t have as many. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in learning so that I had more people I could talk to?
[ Its really not a bad idea, honestly. She gives people time to read that one and then writes again. ]
I also need a job. I have no idea what I could do or anything done I haven’t had a job before. So if anyone has anything a deaf thirteen year old might enjoy, please let me know. Thanks.

[After Red awakens from his pod and listens to the holographic Weiss's welcome speech, he finds himself sitting on a bench near the Bay with his new device in hand, slowly browsing the Schnee Company's website at her suggestion. He tries to absorb as much information as he can, but his brain is stuck in a haze. Suddenly waking up in a new world, being told that there's no guaranteed way back and having to start a new life... Red can't decide if this is a miracle or a tragedy. At least he won't be famous here so he can walk around freely without being harrassed (hopefully), but it's been so long since he was last in society that the thought of it is still overwhelming. This anxiety combined with the fact that most of this text is too dense for him makes reading the content of the website a very slow, tedious task, but he's trying his best. Normally he wouldn't bother reading any of this at all, but for the time being, staying glued to this bench is more appealing than the alternative.
Meanwhile, the Pikachu on his shoulder is completely fascinated by the new environment and all the people walking around. Who can blame it after living in the isolated Mt. Silver for three years? If you happen to be passing by, you may catch this electric mouse staring curiously at you and will greet you with a happy little "Pika!" if you stare back.]

[Once Red has had enough of that website, he figures he might as well get some more answers from this network thing. While he's never texted in his life, he's extremely grateful for the option and is more than happy to go for it, even if it takes him a while to type out because it sure beats having to physically talk to a million strangers.]

i think i've got the basics of this place down but there are some other things i wanted to ask
i noticed that there's a pokespa/daycare center so i'm guessing that means there are pokemon trainers here? are there any pokemon centers or poke marts too? where are the best places to train high level pokemon? and to buy pokemon food?

[Eventually, Red will make his way over to Fayren. Now this is more his style, being surrounded by nature. The main city is still too populated for his liking, though, so he ventures out further into the vast forest, feeling completely at ease by the time he gets there. Perfect.
The possibility of getting attacked by hostile magical creatures doesn't scare him at all considering he's survived thousands of wild Pokémon encounters, including a few legendaries. As long as he has his Pokémon and supplies with him, there's no reason to be afraid of such a thing, so he'll continue making his way deeper and deeper in until he eventually reaches the mountains and explore there too. Feel free to run into him at any point along the way, try to convince him to turn back or at the very least not wander around out here by himself.]
