Not one to over-react when strange things befall him, Loki makes his way from the pod and up the ramp to the city proper, giving a look around at the architecture before a brief shimmer of energy changes his otherworldly clothes to an all-black business suit, complete with black shirt and tie. He makes his way across the street, seemingly familiar with the vehicular traffic, and takes a seat on a bench. When Weiss' holographic broadcast begins, he listens, watching the transmission and obviously noting the information she provides. He turns his attention to the items he found with him when he awoke and glares at the hologram again when it starts up.

He waves a hand and a brief shimmer of energy encloses the hologram and its pedestal. The animation continues, but no sound can be heard. "That's better."

He reads over the contents, tucking the red bills into the inside pocket of his newly conjured business coat, and raises an eyebrow at the documentation therein.

"Get a job? Don't be ridiculous."

[Ridiculous as he may see this place at insisting he become gainfully employed, it only takes one visit to his provided lodging to decide something needs to be done, and unlike his brother, his idea of escape isn't simply 'hit it until something opens'.]

As loathe as I am to admit it, the well-established nature of this place suggests to me I should follow recommendations and...seek employment. So.

[It's been a few hours, which was ample time to give a new arrival to get a grasp on the situation. Or at least, for ones that don't scream and panic, or ignore that convenient apparition's explanation of the whole ordeal. He'd made a point to go straight to the Schnee Company building... and now he's pretty sick and tired of reading, but at least he had information. Now he's at a café with a cup of tea while he tinkers with this tomestone-esque device he found in that box. ... there was also a rather pudgy little friend under his chair. He knows he's turned on the audio, but he doesn't realize he's turned on the video, the device showing his uniformed visage to everyone.]

I would have been content to simply accept this "kidnapping" ordeal on its own and take things as they come, I can't say I appreciate being separated from my chocobo.

... but I suppose that's a complaint that'll fall on deaf ears. Not that I'm surprised.

[He's pretty annoyed by the whole thing. Although given his current situation at home, he isn't sure if he'd prefer this whole thing, or the one of having to aid his despised homeland. Tough choice, but then again, almost anywhere is better than Ishgard.]

Now, is it normal to find your name in records of a realm you're quite certain you've never been to? With my ordeal at home, being whisked away to a new realm and seeing your name thrown around like you were a local at some point doesn't inspire me with very much confidence.

[He pauses briefly.]

( The video starts with a shot of Molly sitting in what looks to be a pretty nice bedroom. His bedroom, that a few from the Hero House might recognize. He seems to be adjusting to get the best angle, lips parting to speak after a few seconds when a knock comes from the door somewhere behind him. )

( Hizashi just… swings the door open, hand still on the door knob as he leans in, outfit and hair casual vs the stupid goddamn hero shit he wears when he’s teaching )

HEEEEEEEEY, look alive Molly! I’m headed out to take care of some work stuff, you need anything, dude?

Hold that thought. ( Molly says to the camera first before turning to look over his shoulder at the intruder. A pause, and then he finally shrugs and says - )

Not that I can think of, but thanks anyway, Daddy. ( It’s said without any change in expression, like he hadn’t even thought of the implications or the words coming out of his mouth. He might have done that on purpose, but it’s hard to tell. )

( Hizashi lifts a hand to wave dismissively halfway through what Molly’s saying having assumed as much, but the motion halts awkwardly by the end of it. The visual record scratch can almost be heard through body language, honestly. All at once though, he whips back around, shooting Molly a wide eyed, startled sort of expression. )

D- ...wHAT?! ( Oh. The volume in that one word is phenomenally loud by the time it ends. There’s a little feedback in the video, static and everything for a moment until it just … cuts out completely. )

How hard is it to start a side business? People have been curious about my jewelry so its something to consider.

( Lioriley just barely catches her bearings upon arrival, meandering aimlessly into the city with no real destination. A vague recollection of the strange metal buildings around her sparks somewhere in the back of her mind, but vanishes just as quickly. She feels as if she might have been here before, but there is no possible way she could have.

She would linger on that thought longer, were it not for a sudden yelp (or shriek, or thump, or whatever) of pain coming from nearby. Someone, somehow, has hurt themselves - either by accident, or through some violent act of another - and Lioriley quickly jumps into action. )
