City Guardian nominations are now open.
Current Guardians and newcomers are welcome to run. Current Guardians will continue their positions until the election process is complete. In the case of more than one guardian seeking nomination, a vote will be held. Anyone else seeking candidacy must reply to this message by Sunday, June 9th. If only one candidate's name is submitted, no vote will be necessary and duties may be assumed immediately at the end of the election period. After the nominations are made, Guardian Candidates will be given a period to campaign and the polls will be open June 17th-23rd.
Current Guardians and their deputy teams who are not re-elected will be given a severance package that will last 1 month from the day they leave office to assist in the transition to a new job position.
GUARDIAN NOMINEES:

Candidate Name: Full name in Western Order.
City Running for: Pick one.
Potential Deputies: Choose two (optional).
Candidate Positions: What are some of the candidate's primary positions on local news and issues within the area? Feel free to make things up so long as doing so wouldn't make the current guardian team seem woefully incompetent. Note that guardians cannot change any laws or override the government.
Qualifications: If the candidate has any accomplishments they would like to share with the public, they may do so here.
Baking Expertise: Can you bake a cake? CAN YOU? This strange little question doesn't seem to quite belong, but it's on the IC form. Go ahead and answer it.
OOC: If your character were to be elected, how would you plan to contribute as far as plots and events are concerned? What would you do to make playing in this district more fun for other players? Please note that guardian players are expected to run at least one city-wide event during their term (with encouragement to run more), and contribute 1-10 bounty hunter hooks for their city's section in each bi-weekly newspaper (which may or may not be personally moderated by the guardian player).
