While I have gotten some more information than I originally had regarding the Faunus and their situation in their world, I now have some more... pointed questions. Primarily about the organization called the White Fang.

[This time around, Mewtwo's not hiding his face. If anything, he's hoping his inhuman appearance will earn some trust points out of any White Fang people present.]

[That's sure Maka calling into the cave. She seems to be carrying something along with her as she enters.

Something as in a whole crate of berries.]

[Mewtwo arches an eyebrow as Maka enters the chamber alone. He felt the approach of two, but it would seem one elected to stay out of the cave. That said, Maka will most likely notice that the cave itself seems to have undergone some renovations. The stalagmites and stalactites that littered the area had been cleared away with artificially created ones forming a circular pattern on the ground and a spiral overhead with the small lake at the center having a single spike rising from the exact center of the water. Mewtwo was perched on that spike, and casually floats his device over to the side, away from his meditation pond.]

...I have nothing but time it would seem. Attempting to establish my own crop of berries has proven... tedious and difficult.

Oh, hmmm...well, I'm not much of a gardener, but--[once she's far enough into the cave she just sets down the crate with a thwump.] I can look up some things at the library to see if I can help.

[She just casually offers to help as if it's the most normal thing in the world.]

I brought you some for now, I, uh...geez, how do I explain this, can you just read my mind? I wouldn't be offended if you did.

Yeah...I was figuring our soul abilities aren't that different from your psychokinesis, and...maybe I could try to teach you soul resonance in return.

The one that followed me is named Kid, he's my friend. [And sorta her boss now.]

That would be impossible. The mind and soul are two separate entities. Psychokinesis has a genetic marker that one is either born with or without. It is not something that can be taught.

What you are talking about, is something closer to what we know as Aura. There are Pokemon that can read the aura that all living creatures and sense intention, much like your own perception abilities.

Ah...I see.

[Well she already knew that she'd be bothering him, and she already knew this was a big risk, but it still deflates her anyway.]

...You're the only person I think I can rely on for this. Do you know anything about using Aura?

If you have any questions about the White Fang, you should know that they're a criminal organization that's responsible for working with a human. Their last operation that I can remember involved breaking Grimm into a town and trying to commit mass murder with them. A lot of Faunus didn't make it out because of what their side did and the rest of us- both humans and Faunus who aren't a bunch of murdering thieves- had to stop everyone else from getting hurt.

You're welcome to ask about them, as long as you understand that.

[ She wanted to make sure that it was outright stated that they're not good people in case this sparked any attention anywhere else. ]

Do not forget that you speak to a "murdering thief" as you put it. I do not deny that I have the blood of humans on my hands, nor do I deny taking what I need to survive, and given what I have heard about the Faunus in general, it seems as if humanity left them little choice but to arm themselves.

There are two sides to every coin, and I would see both before judging its value.

The other side of the coin is that a bunch of Faunus got together and decided to go with anger and violence first instead of using their minds to figure out more peaceful and effective solutions that work out for more than just them.

The past is the past. Don't dredge up problems here that don't need to be. Starting a war here over something that isn't a problem here is the last thing this place needs.

And from what I understand, they weren't given much of a choice. Humans have always sought to conquer and oppress to some degree or another, regardless of world, it would seem.

The more I hear of other worlds, the more I find myself thankful that I can hide myself from humanity in mine.

They have a choice, and a lot of Faunus choose to find their own ways to show the world that they deserve respect. There are plenty of Faunus that dislike the White Fang and for good reason. Humans aren't perfect and neither are Faunus, but that doesn't mean that one group deciding to kill off the other is a reasonable solution.

And yet no matter what they do, I'm willing to guess that there will be a large portion of humanity that will still revile and hate them, denying them basic rights for no reason other than they were born different.

I do not blame any for taking up arms to fight for their right to exist.

That sounds more like you're discriminating against humans than actually asking questions about the reality of a situation. If someone like me can come to a point of not hating them then the idea that it's an impossibility is already proven false. The White Fang was a huge reason that I used to think Faunus were all horrible. All they do is making things worse for everyone. I have it on good authority that they weren't always a corrupt terrorist organization, but that doesn't change what they are now.

Neither does it change that you're trying to bring up things that don't have a place in Genessia because the problem the Faunus face isn't here.

[From the ornate look of the mask, Mewtwo has a couple of possibilities jump into his head immediately. Either this is a member - and high ranking one at that - of the White Fang... or someone familiar enough with them to hunt them. However, through video, he was kind of prevented from detecting lies, and the mask doesn't help that either. For now he would be forced to take the man's words with minor skepticism.]

I would hear of their goals and history from one of their own, and not from one who stands to benefit both financially and politically from defaming them.

Goals? To be treated as equals. As for the history... well, it was originally just a way or protesting against the humans, but we knew we had to change.

From peaceful to paramilitary actions. Others have said as much. I have had similar experiences both here and in my own world. I cannot even claim to be natural in origin. Humans created me to be a weapon; a slave meant to bring a world to its knees.

I am curious, however, if you have had a similar reception in this place as in your own world.
