I have seen many wars started over the centuries, some over less than the reasons Tartaros claimed. After so many, I can hardly see a difference, anymore.

It was Mavis who brought me there. It one of the few places I could stay where I would not be disturbed. Or, so I thought. I can't fault Mavis for allowing Fairy Tail to hold their S-Class trials on the island, but the one known as 'Hades' allowed Acnologia to follow him to me.

Yes. Though, from my interactions with Sayla here, it would appear that Marde Guille never told the Nine Demon Gates why I truly created them. They were under the impression that their instincts were driving them to find me in order to serve me, not to kill me. It would certainly explain why Sayla goes completely out of her way to try to please me.

She and I met more than a century ago, shortly before Fairy Tail was founded. Her kindness was touching to me. It was what convinced me to agree to teach her and her friends the magic necessary to defeat a Dark Guild that was occupying Magnolia, known as Blue Skull.

Ironically enough, Hades was with them.

Her affinity for Illusion Magic was already very impressive, there was little I could teach her on that front that she didn't already know. But, to answer your question, yes. Her, and her companions, the ones who would go on to become Fairy Tail's founding members.

A detail of the guild's history that, understandably, they either buried or don't share with others. The Magic Council would have a field day with that if it ever got out.

Few are. Suffice it to say that it would have been impossible for me to stay on Tenroujima for that long without her knowing.

Fairy Tail is lucky to have someone like her for a First Master.
