[ On waking in the pod, Lucy was admittedly very.. disoriented. It wasn't her apartment back home OR in that other world she'd been in for a year. MOreover, Natsu wasn't with her like usual. Or Levy, or Erza. But maybe they'd gone to scout ahead? ]

[ No, she was sure Natsu would have waited. After looking over the items left with her and familiarizing herself with the new equipment (thankfully she was familiar enough with a thing like that so it didn't take long for her to understand), she slipped out of the pod, searching around the Bay first, before heading out to the city.

Boy did she hope her friends were here somewhere. One can find Lucy exploring/scouting around not far from the Bay, her videophone in hand. ]

[ It isn't long after she's digested all the information she was given before she fussed with the videophone enough to turn it on to broadcast a question. ]

Hi - I'm new here, and I'm looking for some friends of mine. I'm not sure if they're here, but they all have the symbol of our guild on their body - it looks like this. Though it isn't always on the hand. But if you see anyone with a tattoo matching that description, please let me know. My name is Lucy; Lucy Heartfilia, from Fairy Tail.

I think there are some stores in the other cities I can get one from.

[ And he sniffs the money. You are so weird, Natsu. Aside from the bizarre look she gave the Dragonslayer, Lucy didn't comment, counting the money for a moment. ]

Well I don't know what the cost of rooms and money is like here, but if it's not ridiculously expensive, I think we'll be okay. We might even have money left over.

There's gotta be stores in one of these four cities.

[Though from the looks of the buildings they might even find a store right there. Oh well. That was what exploring was for.]

We can use my money for the room first. Not like I really have anything to buy in here yet.

Definitely, they seem to be big enough. The level of technology here is different from that other city we were in - and Exsilium too, so I guess it depends on what city you're in.

[ She had to admit, she was extremely curious about what they'd fine here. Glancing towards Natsu again at the offer, she tilted her head. ]

You sure? Well, I'll treat dinner then. [ Fair is fair! And she could smell food being cooked at the tavern nearby already. Something meaty, whatever it was. But, a room first! Probably a good thing that they didn't have anything they needed to put away. She put a hand on the door to the inn, pushing it open, thoughts elsewhere. The innkeeper looked pretty nice though, looking up as they entered.]

"Well hello there! I haven't seen you around town before. Need a room for the night?"

[ Lucy wasn't paying attention, glancing out the window in hopes of catching sight of a familiar face, so the innkeeper turned to Natsu. ]

"One or two beds?"

[ Don't say one, Don't say one... ]

AT least these things don't look that more complicated than the device back in Exsilium.

[When she offered to treat him to dinner he grinned a little wider. Yet another slight similarity with Hargeon. Back then she'd bought him and Happy lunch for saving her from the fake salamander's spell.

The place didn't have any weird scents so Natsu didn't have reason to distrust the inn keeper.]

Yeah we just woke up in the bay and made our way here. We could definitely use a room. As for beds, well doesn't really matter. Whatever you've got freed up.

[Then again even if they got two beds, odds were he would either push the bed closer to hers or just outright climb in her bed regardless.]]

Yeah, that's pretty lucky.

[ Lucy chuckled. Unable to see anyone familiar outside, she turned and padded back towards Natsu and the innkeeper, who was looking through her ledger. ]

"You're in luck: We've got two rooms left, both with two beds. Just sign here .."

[ She turned the ledger around and held out her pen, giving the cost (Reasonable cost too yay!) for the room. ]

"The first night is discounted since you're new, if you stay longer than that it's full price."

[ Which is pretty nice of her. She probably gets a lot of visitors to make a deal like that. ]

[Seemed the gods of this place were merciful after all.]

Awesome.

[Natsu took the pen and signed whatever was needed before passing the pen to Lucy and then handing the discounted fee to the inn keeper from his funds.]

Since we're kinda new here, do you have any advice for us about this place?

[Might as well start getting answers from the first person who seemed polite and friendly enough.]

[ The innkeeper looked thoughtful, taking the money as Lucy signed her name onto the ledger. ]

"Well you might want to be careful if you travel outside of town. Monsters and rogue bandits find travelers to be easy prey if you're careless. If there's any trouble about in town, you can speak with the City Champion, or pray to her for assistance."

[ The innkeeper paused again, then seemed to 'oh'. ]

"And do try to keep an open mind - not all of our inhabitants are human."

So those guys do exist here too. Sweet!

[He punches his palm eagerly with an eager grin. Though he does blink at the mention of a city champion.]

Pray? What is she lie like a goddess or something?

[Either way sounds like something they should probably meet at some point.]

That's no problem with me. Back home we even made friends with a tribe of demons who were really nice.

[ Natsu's eager reaction to hearing about the robbers and monsters gets an odd look from the innkeeper. Lucy just shakes her head with a fond grin. Honestly Natsu you're WAY too enthusiastic about that. ]

He doesn't mean it like that. Back home we have a lot of jobs dealing with monsters and thieves and such, so in a sense it's good we can still hunt monsters and deal with thieves and such.

"Ah.. I see. Well I'm sure that our guardian isn't a goddess per se, but many of our citizens have found a sign on a tree nearby that says something to that effect. Perhaps it wouldn't be that farfetched."

[ She scritches her cheek uneasily at mention of demons. ]

"Well I was primarily referring to elves, minotaurs and the such - demons... I have yet to hear of one who is 'kind' here."

[Kicking bad guy ass is his specialty dangit. He's enthusiastic about his work at least.]

A sign on a tree huh. We'll have to look into that.

[His eyes light up at of the words mentioned.]

Minotaur? Isn't that like Taurus?

[He looks to Lucy.]

[ And he does his job very well! Lucy isn't judging, she's just terribly amused by how enthusiastic he is. At the question regarding the minotaur, Lucy glances back at him. ]

Right, Taurus would be considered a minotaur. According to folklore anyway - but most of the stories with minotaurs in them say they're at the center of a maze, usually guarding a treasure of some sort.

"Well... true that may be, but our village isn't often visited by their kind. Of course not all minotaurs lock themselves inside of a maze, why, that would be silly."

[ She laughs, because she'd actually assumed minotaurs were only found in mazes herself at first. Made for awkward times. ]

[Well it's one of those things perfect to take your mind off of trouble. ]

Silly and lonely.

[Not something Natsu likes to think about. He looks over to Lucy.]

Wanna go check out the tree sign?

[Might as well since they don't have any luggage to drop off first anyway.]

[There seems to be a commotion outside the inn when suddenly a large man comes crashing through the door, a boot print etched into his face. Through the open door strides a woman with scarlet hair, dragging an unconscious smaller man and woman with her.]

Just because someone is lost does not mean they're helpless. I'm glad I was able to probably educate you.

[She turns her fury on the other patrons of the inn.]

Does anyone else want to be uncivilized?

[ She'd have to agree, on both points. But Lucy watches Natsu for a moment before nodding. ]

Sure, just a second.

[ She turned to the innkeeper, leaning against the counter. ]

Thanks for your help. We're also looking for some friends of ours - a blue haired girl named Levy McGarden, and a redhea-

[ And she yelps in surprise when a man is abruptly sent flying through the doorway, followed by -- ]

Erza!!

[ She glanced at the innkeeper again, waving a hand. ]

Nevermind about the redhead.

[ And she delicately stepped over the man who got a boot to the head to join Erza and Natsu both. Thankful - OH SO THANKFUL - that Erza's glare was not directed at her. ]

Erza!

[Oh Mavis who did she kill?! No not kill but still, Titania wasn't known for holding back on anyone especially those who invite her wrath. He leaves Lucy to do the explaining as he runs up to his red haired unofficial big sister.]

When did you show up? I couldn't pick up a trace of your scent anywhere?!

Guys!

[They were here too? Erza is both surprised and relieved to see them. She drops the unconscious people and dusts her palms.]

About an hour ago, this is my second stop. I went to another city first and asked if anyone had seen a firebreather or a scantily clad woman with a set of keys; I was told Fayren would be the best place to look and here you are. I suppose that traveling through the Archeways must have masked my scent.

[ Lucy glanced down at the unconscious bodies briefly, wondering if for a second Erza really did get carried away and... nah. She would never do something like that. ]

Second stop..?

[ Oh, she went to a different city a... WAIT A SECOND. ]

Why describe me like that!?

[ S-soob whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Erza. You could have said, 'cute blonde', or even just 'blond woman with a set of keys' but noooo. She's too busy having a quiet mental fit over that description to confirm the latter comment. ;.; Erzaaa. ]

[Nah Natsu could confirm it easily since he could hear the sound of a heartbeat.]

So you saw another city? Which one was it?

[And there was the meltdown. To which Natsu break in genuine laughter because leave it to Lucy to get worked up about something like that. Besides it wasn't like that description would match Lucy. Not unless they found another one of those costume wardrobes like back in Edoras.]

[Erza simply smiles and ignores Lucy's outburst to focus on the question.]

I believe it was called Nova City. It was through an Archway north of the area where I awoke. It was quite large and magnificent but I didn't stay long. I made my way to the southern arch when I heard I was more likely to find mages here.

[She takes a moment to consider something.]

Do either of you remember a place called Exsilium?

[ And Natsu just laughs. LAUGHS at her pain! Lucy grumbles a little to herself, but really, to have the chance to continue her adventure with both of her friends was more than she could have hoped. Being alone here sucked. She glanced at the bodies that Erza left on the floor, then back to the redhead. ]

Exsilium? Yes, we both do -! [ So Erza came from there too. Odd coincidence, that. ]

We just got a room and were going to have a look around when you arrived.

Nova huh. Guess we'll see what that's like eventually.

[Of course he laughs. Just look at those pouty cheeks! Who wouldn't laugh at that?!]

Sweet so you're from there too!

I see.

[Ah so it all really did happen then. Erza presses a finger to her chin thoughtfully.]

It's been quite some time since then, I'd begun to think I'd dreamed up the whole experience.

[Being home for a while now, Exsilium was such a distant thought. She turns to Lucy. Don't mind the those three KO-ed people, someone will clean them up.]

Excellent. We should get settled in and then find out more about this place.

Wait ... Erza, were you sent back home too? [ She glanced at Natsu quickly, then back to Erza. ]

What's the last thing you remember? [ How far along did she go? ]

Yeah.. although we don't really have anything to get settled in with. But you'll need to sign in on that woman's ledger so she'll give you a key to the room.

[ A small part of her wondered who was going to end up with beds. No way Erza was going to let Natsu climb into her bed -- well, Unless he wanted to live dangerously. ]

[So Erza had gone home as well. Luckily Lucy was on point to ask what was the last thing she remembered.]

[He didn't see why Lucy would tell Erza to get a key to their room since there was a perfectly free room available already since the keeper had said there were two rooms with two beds.]

[Because it's cheaper, Natsu and you didn't really think she'd leave you two alone together, did you? Erza walks away from the pair to retrieve a key whilst talking.]

I was about to leave with Mira to protect the ex-Chairman. Then I woke up here.
