00 BRAINS ; VIDEO POST
I listened to the hologram, I read the materials, please. No double answers, I know there's no where, why, or how or everyone would be home already. I just want to know where a good place to stay is and where I can get a cage for this little guy.
[ She holds up a white rat. He's got a bit of red on his head and paws. It looks like berries. ]
I was feeding him in the lab and I guess he came over with me. His name is Echo, and I'm Liv Moore, Assistant M.E. under the Seattle Police Department. [ She offers a smile. It's the kind of smile that says "This is not what I wanted to be doing after work hours." ] I.. also need to know where the ME's office here is. If we need to get a job to afford a place to stay, I'd rather do something I'm familiar with. It's.. soothing, to stick to something familiar when everything's changing.
[ That was an experience she's already gone through. This was significantly less traumatizing, but at least this time she knew how to not end up moping on the couch eating Hellfire Cheesy Puffs for a couple of months. Now she just needed to worry about making sure she didn't end up some place worse than the sofa. ]

[ And the guy she's talking to has hair whiter than hers. The person on the hologram too. The rat came with her. ]
Is there much spicy cuisine here?
[ The closest she can come to asking about it without outing herself. ]
[video]
[Gintoki has to actually think about this one. Spicy food really isn't his thing.]
There's a few places, but I couldn't really tell you how good they are.
[video]
[ Despite her earlier statement that she was on top of things, her tone says she's not too pleased about this.
Not zombies then. That's good. Spicy foods are the only things she can taste anymore and the same applied for all the only other zombies she knew. ]
Nevermind, I'll find out. Any pet stores?
[video]
[No, not zombies. Thankfully.]
I haven't noticed any, but then I haven't been looking. Sorry.
[When you don't have to feed a giant dog anymore, you tend to just ignore anything that even resembles a pet store.]

I could try and find a job that's similar, but I can't say I know what M.E stands for exactly.

[ She went to medical school to be a doctor, but doctors don't have access to brains that aren't still being used. ]

[He never saw them around after all.]

{ Hagire's grinning ear to ear. }
That's what's familiar to you? A morgue? Aha, you're after my own heart. ☆

{ Yep. He used his alias. }

[ "Stay dead" were the exact words used. It had confused her at first, but then it became clear there were no zombies besides her and she just assumed any hospitals would be about managing pain, not having a morgue. Diseased brains don't exactly sound like a fun time though. ]

And I wouldn't worry about the rat. You could probably sneak him in anywhere. It's not like he's going to make a ton of noise.

[ She already does, but being in their shared apartment without her? Not something she wants to deal with. ]
I'm more worried about losing track of him. He needs some kind of reinforced cage or- maybe one of those snake aquariums. Once that's out of the way, I'll be less worried about losing track of him.

[That's totally an acceptable substitute for actual human contact, right? ....Right?]
I don't know about pet stores so I can't help you there, but let me know if you find a good one. I'm thinking about a dog.

[ She'd probably know how Peyton felt after she got her little case of post-traumatic ennui, though. Body snatcher AIs don't sound any more fun than zombies. ]
You must be a dog person.

[ sure, a high ranking soldier would make that call out on the battlefield in lieu of one, but where he was from, that was something best left to the sages. ]

[ If he didn't know ME, he probably wouldn't know MD right? She isn't sure why he doesn't, but hey. Who knows. ]
I was going to be a medical doctor, originally, but Assistant ME seemed like the right thing to do.
[ The only thing to do unless she wanted to become a graverobber or.. well, for Liv it was the only option. ]
