(All items served with a choice of garden salad or spicy cucumber salad.)
(Wines will be substituted for those underaged or upon request with a choice of water or white grape juice.)

1. Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cups - Design ref. A dark chocolate balloon cup coated with finely chopped hazelnuts so that look like stars in the night sky. Inside, it's filled with a layer of nutella mousse and topped with a fudge frosting and a piped tempered white chocolate star.
2. Coconut Pannacotta and Pineapple Stars. Design ref. A creamy yet light pannacotta dish with star-cut pineapples with caramelized edges, covered with a thin and crunchy spun sugar display.
3. Tiramisu Glasses - Design ref. Tall glasses filled with a marscapone whipped cream, a layer of coffee-soaked lady fingers, and topped with puff pastry stars and berries.
(Dessert is served with a choice of a 6oz coffee, tea of choice, or hot cocoa.)

"That is a possibility." Satsuki replies before falling silent to allow him to speak. His mention of the general number of people he ruled over. That.. Is a little difficult to believe.

And yet if it is true, this is rather important information- Even if the rules may not apply 1:1 to Genessia. As for being able to 'do away' Gods; she has been here long enough to not consider it outright ubsurd. "If we could go back a moment.. I was expecting you to mention a kingdom. You were to rule over humanity, accomplished these feats, and yet you yourself are not a God? Or am I mistaken."

"I do rule over a kingdom. Or did. Uruk was my Kingdom. I did not rule over all of humanity." How could he? The world was huge and there were people everywhere. "But all who were under me were under my protection and those who were not, I did not deal with unless they troubled me."

He shrugs at the mention of Godhood, a whimsical-looking maneuver. "I am not a God. Though I am not fully man either. I am 2 parts Divine to 1 part Man. So that I may best be able to observe and judge over humans without feeling the full trappings of immortality or mortality."

She listens on; and the more he speaks the more interested she appears to be. Of course it would be foolish to take everything at face value, exaggeration is possible, but she can decide upon what is and isn't later. Really she's just surprised by how fascinating he is. "Uruk.. That is well before my time." she ponders aloud.

That also explains his attire quite well. She thinks. History of fashion was never her strongest suit.

"Veering off the subject for a moment; what do you make of modern times in this world?"

He has no reason to exaggerate, though his exploits do seem a tad fantasy-world. "It is before most people's time. Mine has be likened to the existence right after the First Flood." So he's from a very, very old time period.

And there is nothing wrong with a King going topless. Especially in a land where sun was plentiful like in Uruk.

"Too noisy. Too much noise and distractions. Humans can't seem to do anything without help these days, though some inventions are certainly useful."

That is quite old indeed; she doesn't have much more to comment on on that specific point.

"Noise.. I can certainly understand that. Though 'distractions' is certainly about as correct as one can get. With such a lot, it truly is a wonder how anything will get done." Beat, "Which is actually why I hold Lady Schnee in such high regard. If only people like her were the majority."

There's another pause. "My apologies; perhaps I should have asked your opinion of her before going on my tirade."

Gilgamesh shrugs his shoulders dismissively. "Perhaps, though if she were the majority over all, then there would be a lot less change. She strikes me as a type to be stubborn once she sets her mind."

"Perhaps you should, though you've already done your rant so there's little point in apologizing for it now."

Satsuki manages to hold back a 'tch' in reaction to Gil's second response.

"Less change?" there's a moment of pause, then she finds herself nodding in agreement. "I suppose that is a fair point, it would be trading one problem for another but I still can't help but feel it would be an improvement over our current situation."

Satsuki's frown increases. "Where you are from; how or why are your people united?"

"I guess that's true, though it remains to be seen how much of an improvement it would be. Sometimes improving slowly is a better choice than improving so fast you humans don't have time to learn the dangers of what you're doing."

He sighs softly and gives her a slightly annoyed look. "Of course....humans don't listen and run off on their own. I already said, I am from Uruk. Unless you meant what was my last experience before coming to this odd world."

Satsuki is silent for a moment; but at least Gilgamesh isn't completely off the mark- she is in complete agreement that people don't listen and run off on their own. For the most part, at least.

She has been watching and pondering, straining her brain to try and figure out how to get everyone to co-operate since she lacks the same power she does at home. "You misunderstand; I have not forgotten. What I am asking as what is it that make the people of Uruk obey your commands? That isn't to say I would not be interested in hearing of your last experience either, of course."

Gilgamesh raises an eyebrow at Satsuki at her reply feeling slightly incredulous. "...Because I was their king?" was his rather patronizing response. He speaks again a few seconds later though to clarify, "I was designated king through the gods who made me so I have been given rule over them because of such."

He has a more dour look though as he thinks on the last part of your statement. "Last experience...Was being dragged through a war as a Servant to a Master, that is a summoned hero to a magus, in order to fight to obtain a relic said to grant any wish. I need not a wish personally, but merely the fact that it was mine to begin with is enough to make me willing to fight."

Satsuki's eyes momentarily fall half-lid; she can't help but feel he knows exactly what she was asking and is just being difficult. Still, she decides the best thing to do now is remain patient.

The bad news is there isn't really anything of use in his real answer- As far as he knows there are no gods here. At least, not like the ones he speaks of. On the other hand, she doesn't know that for certain. In fact, if she obtained all four charms, she may very well be able to get that very wish. She witholds that information for now, assuming he isn't aware of it.

"Do both the Hero and the Magus get the wish?"

He knew what she was asking of course, but if she's going to ask such without thinking, then he's going to reply however he likes.

"Of course. There'd be no point in the Hero getting along with the Magus if either was denied their wish."

"Whether there is no point or not depends entirely on the rules. There is one reason I can think of to work together even if only one person could gain the wish. Still, it's irrelevant at this point."

"Do you know what the Magus intended to wish for?"

"True. It is indeed irrelevant at this point. Indeed it didn't matter even during the War. The Servants had their own will after all and could only be forced to obey 3 times. After that, the Magus lost their chance to win."

"I do not. There were 7 Maguses involved in each War after all. I do not know the minds of all 7 mongrels."

That is unfortunate; she is rather curious what kinds of things people who are willing to wage war would wish for. That aside what he's describing doesn't sound like something that can be obtained here in Genessia- At least not without some sort of magical talent; which of course she lacks.

"So all of that is behind you during your stay in Genessia. Is there something in particular you hope to obtain upon become a Guardian?" It's pretty clear that he, if anything, is pretty lukewarm to the general populous.

He could easily guess of course. And as the mongrels they were it would have been things that would have been of personal importance to them alone, damn the consequences. Speaking of which...

"The grail itself was actually a fake, just in case you try to seek out something similar. It essentially worked on the premise of the monkey's paw."

He shrugs at the question. "More to see how the general populace decide on who they deem worthy of leading a place. I am...rather severely handicapped by only being here for a short time compared to the others, so I have no major hang-ups about this election this time."

".. Oh." There's no hiding that disappointment. Suddenly that does bring into doubt about the charms abilities and consequences- How can the person who told her about them be so sure? This is worth following up on.

"Impressive. Though I would say that you do possess enough charisma to stay in the running." she comments, "But the length of time does appear to be a significant factor; one that I am uncertain is a positive or a negative for the long term." If Satsuki manages to win this election, she'd be convinced she could remain Nova Guardian forever.

She has what she wants for now and is surprised that this conversation went the way it did. She should probably start wrapping things up but before she dismisses herself she waits to see if he asks her anything.

There's no hiding his sigh either as he regards Satsuki with a disappointed look. "Another seeker of the grail are you? How pitiful. The true grail is mine and mine alone."

"That would all depend on what you do with yourself once you attain Guardianship or before it even. One who shows no care for anything but him or her self will find it hard to gain the populace's appeal."

"What even makes you want the grail in the first place? Any wish a person may have for it that they cannot attain on their own power, is a wish not worth granting."

"Hmn." Satsuki lets the 'pitiful' comment slide over her shoulders, though rest assured it is very very annoying. Though it also helps that her sword isn't on hand. "Perhaps, though I hold a more pessimistic view. That said, what you say about wishes has merit. Still, given our situation I would be remiss not to take the opportunity."

Beat.

"My wish would be to have the denizens of Genessia united."

Though that isn't entirely true. About half the populous would be sufficient.

It's a good thing that Satsuki doesn't have hers word on hand. It means Gil's not going to feel the need to show just how much power he truly has. "Perhaps, but only if you feel you can be responsible for the outcome of such a wish."

"And united they could be under the Grail." A beat. "In death. For that is the only true way any group of individuals can become truly united. Though it should go without saying that I would not give up my grail just for your 'wish'."

Well one thing is for certain; Gil's warning does make Satsuki more cautious. At the very least, then, she should discuss the possibilities with her associates.

That said the words 'In death' draw an amused snort from the young Guardian. "Then I suppose it is fortunate 'your grail' is not what I am after. Death is but an inconvenience here, so you can spare me your dramatics."

"One way or another, I will see it done."

Gil has nothing but another look of scorn towards Satsuki. "Mock me at your own peril. To listen and not learn is a true mark of the foolish. Even if death proves an inconvenience here, would you be willing to pay for that inconvenience? Or what if your so-called wish ends this dimension instead and we trapped in it are left perpetually in a state of death and revival?"

Shaking his head, he sets down the wine glass onto a table and starts to walk off. "The biggest dramatic I see is the fool I just had the displeasure of having to talk to."

"Unfortunately for you this 'fool' can see your contradiction quite clearly. Not to mention the question of death cannot be answered with a simple 'yes' or 'no'." she replies as he turns, though at this point she may have to accept he may not respond.

"It was you that said that 'a wish you cannot attain on your own is not a wish worth granting'. I have stated that I can. Then you suggest it would lead to death. What exactly am I supposed to learn from your flip-flopping?"

"It's only a contradiction if you're too simple-minded to understand what the weight of being a king can be."

He stops walking away to turn back to face Satsuki, clearly not pleased. "You are suppose to learn that it is a warning that you must take care not to pursue a goal beyond reason. If you are willing to bear the responsibilities that would be thrust upon you then there is nothing to argue about. I merely wanted to inform one who seeks that the goal may not be what you might think of and that you should be prepared in case that is the matter."

"It is less that I am simple-minded and more that no one can properly hear you from your high horse. Still, I will confess the lesson is a sound one and I thank you for it."
