Choices:
1. Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cups - Design ref. A dark chocolate balloon cup coated with finely chopped hazelnuts so that look like stars in the night sky. Inside, it's filled with a layer of nutella mousse and topped with a fudge frosting and a piped tempered white chocolate star.
2. Coconut Pannacotta and Pineapple Stars. Design ref. A creamy yet light pannacotta dish with star-cut pineapples with caramelized edges, covered with a thin and crunchy spun sugar display.
3. Tiramisu Glasses - Design ref. Tall glasses filled with a marscapone whipped cream, a layer of coffee-soaked lady fingers, and topped with puff pastry stars and berries.
(Dessert is served with a choice of a 6oz coffee, tea of choice, or hot cocoa.)

7:10pm: Weiss Schnee's Speech (Here.)
7:30pm: Live Music Performances by Celebrities: Muse and Minako Aino
8:30pm: DJ plays, Planetarium goes on for a star show while staff clears tables and chairs out to open a dance floor. (Modern and fun music selection, not full-on rave, but not classic ballroom either. There is a variety of music styles played, more upbeat in the beginning, then slower songs toward the end.)
11:00pm: Music is quiet, open mingle, and a fundraising area for the GSRF is opened.
11:30pm: As party closes and guests begin to exit, a fireworks show begins to say goodbye for the night and thank everyone for coming.

[ Weiss comes center-stage to the podium posted near the front and center of the planetarium. Unlike her normal outfits of whites and light blues with the occasional accents of darker colors, Weiss chose a darker dress to fit the theme of the evening- stars in the planetarium and the rise of Schnee Company as one of the world of Genessia's star businesses. It wasn't blindingly obvious a theme dress and the blue still brought out her eyes, but her hair and skin looked stark in contrast to the dark blue of the dress, but not unnatural.

Weiss took a deep breath and put a smile on her face as she began to speak. ]

Hello everyone. I'm Weiss Schnee, CEO and founder of Schnee Company in Genessia and now, I'm proud to announce, in Nova City. Everyone in our company has worked tremendously to make sure that Schnee Company is and continues to be a success, regardless of what hardships we have faced, are facing, and may face. We exist to help people coming into Genessia and create jobs and services for what people need. With the addition of the Nova City branch, we are now able to assist those coming into Nova City or Genessia as a whole by acting as a center where anyone can learn to adapt to each archway and its technology levels in this world, regardless of their background or what world they come from.

Which is the second thing I want to talk about: We all come from different worlds. No one seems to know how we got here. As you may have heard, Schnee Company is forming the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation. The non-profit foundation will be operating separate from Schnee Company, and any donations made to it will be entirely devoted to the GSRF's budget, not advertising or events like this. We will make donations to it, of course, as anyone in this world is welcome to. The purpose of the GSRF is to find out exactly how we got here, how to get home, and how to stay here. It's an incredibly important project, but Schnee Company can't support it on its own yet. It is a non-profit organization and will be focusing entirely on finding answers to the aforementioned problem. If you'd be interested in donating or offering your services if you have a scientific background or other skills that may assist in finding the answers everyone here seeks, there will be a GSRF panel area open at 11pm. Until the foundation is officially set up, if you aren't able to stay until 11pm, Schnee Company will handle donations.

A. DINNER
[ Yui hadn't been sure about coming to this event. It wasn't as though she didn't want to, but it felt like a lot to spend money on a dress she'd only use once.. but it seemed like it was a good cause, and she might be able to learn something about running fundraisers, which could help with the K&H Home for Children in the future. She couldn't let Mr. Haller do all of the work, after all. Besides, it was always good to have some fun. She bought a simple dress and had put her hair up in a bun (sans tiara), and beneath the dress was a pair of plain heels, so that she can use them again if the occasion calls for it.

Having gotten there last minute after waffling on whether to attend or not, she had ended up sitting next to people she didn't know. She hadn't had a chance to find where anyone she knew was, but it wasn't a bad thing. Maybe she would meet some new people! ]

B. DANCE
[ Yui had been find during the whole of the evening before it was an open dance area, but after that.. Well, she didn't exactly have anyone to dance with and she wasn't about to ask anyone. It seemed a little intimate to her, so she was just standing off to the side and watching everyone else, her hands folded in front of her. ]

[ Want Yui somewhere else? Let me know! She'll be there the whole night, so if you want to request a specific event/time, that's totally fine. ]

[Fai wasn't one to dance, nor had he really wanted to dance, esepcially in the suit that he was wearing. He didn't see the point really, but it didn't stop him from watching others dance and have a good time. He just does it in his own way. As he moved he couldn't help but see someone else staying on the sidelines.]

[There's a table that has an unusual guest trying to eat that halibut with some difficulty. That's right. There's a bear at the gala. A bear in formal wear. Ginko's really trying not to get the formal wear dirty because really, it'd be rude to the youkai who gave it to her.

Though, that fish... fish is so good.]

2. A dancing bear

[It really would be easier to move around in her human form. It really would, but she still doesn't want to ruin the clothes. She'll wander around a bit on her hind legs trying to avoid the much bigger people trying to dance.]

Growl...!

3. Fireworks

[The fireworks are loud. It's not like the music or the noise of the gala. It's... unpleasant. Sharp and too familiar. In fact, she'll try to run as fast as she can from the sounds.

Where? She didn't know yet. Be careful not to trip over the small animal.]

[Hikari was enjoying the fireworks as she smiled slightly, looking up at them. Although when a bear came into the picture and nearly ran into her, she was quick to regain her balence and look down at the poor creature.]

Are the fireworks too loud? If so, let's get you inside.

[She was trying to get use to the small heels she was wearing with her dress and when she managed she knelt down, making sure that the bear was safe and not running off elsewhere to cause trouble.]

A) 5-7PM Seating and Dinner
The moment Lucy found out that there was a gala being held at a -planetarium- of all things, she had immediately decided she was going. She didn't have a date, exactly, but she knew Natsu would be accompanying her, so she'd already picked out a formal suit for him to wear. She had taken much longer to decide on an outfit for herself, finally deciding on a slinky, full-length black dress with spaghetti straps and a split up the side with matching black high heels. Her hair she let flow down her back in a golden waterfall of color, reaching her waist in length.

Having arrived not too early, and not too late - around twenty minutes after they began seating people, she managed to contain her excitement with ease, smiling at the familiarity in which the gala was set up. Her father had held more than enough of these before. For dinner, she chose the Pan Seared Halibut with Roasted Asparagus and Beurre Blanc Sauce, Spicy Cucumber Salad and a glass of white Grape Juice, content to watch those seated around her and occasionally striking up conversation.

B) 7PM-8:30PM Dessert and Star Show
Dessert was a much harder choice for Lucy, who was worried about her waistline (as if she needed to), but she finally chose the Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cups with a cup of coffee. While she would clap politely after Weiss' speech, smiling and conversing with others afterwards and dring her dessert, by the time the star show began she became distracted and nostalgic, spending most of her time watching the stars.

C) 9:30PM-11:30PM Dancing and Fireworks
Of course, who would attend a gala and not dance? Not Lucy, and once she felt she'd digested her food properly, she managed to tear her gaze away from the stars enough to head out to the dance floor. Anyone who asked her to dance was certainly welcome to do so- although she might politely turn them down. But if you're feeling daring considering a certain Natsu was sure to glare the entire time, by all means~!

When the gala began to wind to a close and Lucy started to file out with the other guests and her partner, tired, with sore dancing feet, but happy, she watched the fireworks as they went off, smiling faintly at the sight.

Natsu was not someone who frequently went to shirt and tie affairs like this but given how excited Lucy was and the fact that he honestly had nothing better to do really, he agreed to being dressed up by his ecstatic partner. So ecstatic that he felt he might have contracted some of her enthusiasm. Well did it really matter. He got to spend more time with Lucy and seeing her have fun was worth it. Even if he had insisted to keep the scarf around his neck even over the fancy suit that had a striking match with her own choice of dress.

"This place is even more packed than that ball the King had after the whole mess with the dragons." He commented, tugging at his shirt a little since it felt a bit obstructing around his throat. Maybe the tie could use some loosening?

A. DESSERT
[ Weiss had been running around all night making sure that everything was going smoothly, so much so that her reserved seat for dinner went empty through the dinner service. But she knew she would likely pass out without eating something, so a couple of minutes after her dessert is delivered, Weiss manages to sneak away from everything to go taste her pineapple panna cotta and.. may absolutely be using the opportunity to sit at the long tableclothed table to slip her heels off where no one can see them. Hopefully. At least, as long as there's no one crawling around underneath the tables like they absolutely shouldn't be.

Catch her while she's on her little break? ]

B. DANCE
[ Weiss has been dancing with a couple of people, mostly business associates, but if asked by someone she doesn't need to play nice with she.. may or may not say no. It really depends on who you are. But if you're just watching her, it's clear that she has some skill with dancing. After all, it's one of those things that you need to learn when you grew up in high society and happened to be both a singer and an incredible perfectionist. ]

C. FUNDRAISING
[ If you want to ask questions about the GSRF? Weiss is there. There's someone actually being paid to handle the money, but Weiss is there to talk about it and answer any and all questions. ]

D. END OF NIGHT
[ As the night ends and the fireworks start going off, Weiss is absolutely exhausted. There are still things to oversee, but frankly? She's considering simply paying someone else to or finding Armin to ask him to schedule meetings with anyone else who wants to talk to her. But she's the type of person to push herself, naturally, so even as everyone's making an exit, she's overseeing the cleanup and making sure to check that all of the donations are secured and properly handled. Of course, once she goes to go find a place to sit for a break, it looks like she's drifted off into a very tiny nap. ]

[No one is supposed to be under the table? Well, certainly no human was but if you have a bear's appetite you might be wandering under the table for anything (halibut) that was dropped (more halibut please).

That's when she saw the shoe. She paws over to where Weiss is sitting. There doesn't seem to be any crumbs but... Ginko nuzzles the shoe a little. The person who it belongs to smells good...

What if she just picks it up in her mouth and starts to drag it away? That's better etiquette than standing there and sniffing Weiss herself, right?]

GENERAL/ALL
[ When some of the people on your side call you a street rat, you're the type of person who knows not to pass up a free meal. Especially if you stole your dress anyway, so it isn't like there's any real monetary concern here with the formal wear. Especially especially when she looks really really good in it. Hey, they said formal. She assumed it was a higher level of formal than the dance back at Beacon aaaand frankly, it was a nice dress.

Still wasn't half as fun since Mercury wasn't there with her, but that's what text messaging was for. She just had to change his name on her phone to something else. So there may be some messaging to someone named Iris on her phone whenever she gets bored. Which she seems to be. Fancy parties aren't really her thing, so she'll just be going and talking to anyone else who looks bored throughout the night. And also very much enjoying her Lamb and Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cup. ]

[Eas, or Setsuna as she went by in this guise, was incredibly bored. She had been dragged along to watch one of her "friends" perform and hadn't found a decent excuse to leave just yet. She would like nothing better than to just create a Nakewameke to crash the party but unfortunately she was well aware that it wouldn't be a good idea here. She was certainly outclassed by the sheer number of people here alone.

So instead she's sitting alone at a table literally just staring at the people dancing, and mingling with the most blank expression on her face that she can manage. At least her dress is nice.

[Despite making more than enough money to keep himself well fed and well dressed, old habits die hard, and thus Gintoki is grabbing any and all food he can from any plates he can reach. Wondering where the rest of that delicious morsel you were saving for last went? It's been stolen and devoured already. He's also consuming all the wine within reach at an alarming. Because what's better than free food and booze?]


B: DANCE

[Now that he's extremely drunk, Gintoki is drawn to the dance floor like a moth to a flame. He's not always very coordinated even when sober, so being near him right now... Might not be a good idea. Especially considering some of the extremely ridiculous poses he keeps attempting. But do feel free to point and laugh at his attempts to flail around and not fall on his face.]

[ Having been raised as a member of a Dynastic House, Ejava knew her way around a formal event, at least back in Creation. She'd opted for a green qipao with a flower pattern winding down the back and side. She'd considered wearing her armor--it was certainly ornate enough--but this not being a military event, perhaps something more subtle was called for.

Food, drink, dance, and song would clear her mind, and serve as opportunity to meet and socialize with new people.

The Roseblack will be at the party for the duration, enjoying her lamb, wine, and with dessert, silver needle tea. Maybe she'll even find someone worth a dance? ]

[Pidonus, perhaps surprisingly, does understand the concept of dressing classy. A mostly but not entirely black, mermaid-themed dress, simple heeled shoes, short gloves, and her signature/stupid hat nowhere to be seen.]

[She's rather slowly enjoyed the halibut, picked at the asparagus a little - she's never had anything like that before, so it's an odd taste to her - and reasonably enjoyed the wine.]

[Now, though, she's looking to start up some light conversation. Perhaps you are at the same table as her?]

[When the time to dance has started, Pidonus stays near the edge of the floor. She definitely knows how to dance - very well, in fact - but she didn't exactly pick the best dress for it. Still, if someone asks, she'll join them on the floor...]

[As the party closes, Pidonus is.. Actually fairly quick to scoot off, though entirely on foot. Still, she's not going to be hard to catch if you want to converse in a bit of privacy...]

[ Honestly, Sertoria thought she looked absolutely silly in this getup. She never minded wearing her classic tunic, but she knew that even security had to dress up. And, so, dress up she did. She was wearing a gold form-fitting dress, with the back having a matching gold cape. On her feet were a pair of heels that resembled the laced up sandals that she normally wore. Her hair was left to be free-flowing like it normally was. Finally, to complete the look, she had on an elaborate necklace and a pair of earrings to go along with her complete ensemble.

She'll decide to keep in the back with her hands folded in front of her. Maybe no one will notice the getup that she's in...

But, of course, that means go ahead and bother her! ]

DINNER/DESSERT

[ Weiss had definitely gone all out, even with the food. Everything sounded so good to the angel, and as such, she decided that for now, she'll start to eat. Maybe you're at the same table that she is? Or perhaps you're just seeing the dress she's wearing and want to comment on it? Feel free! ]

[ When everyone else is dancing, Sertoria has decided to just watch the others have fun. It brings a smile to her face to see everyone so happy and carefree, especially like this. Her hands are out in front of her while she remains standing, glancing around the crowd to see if anyone needs anything. ]

[As Pidonus sees Sertoria's outfit of choice, she blinks a couple of times. Compared to her mermaid-themed dress and simpler choices - she never had been one for earrings - she definitely felt overdressed and insufficiently showy. Massively.]

A: WHEREIN A DRAGON IS NOT AS SUBTLE AS SHE THINKS SHE IS (5:00-7:00)
Throughout the evening, you might come upon one of the servers. Now from a distance, it would appear that this one was like all the rest but up close one might notice a variety of things setting her apart. Like the fact she was wearing a LOT of makeup all over her face, she had fully concealing gloves on, unlike the vast majority of the other servers, or that she spoke with a rough and distinctly 'outsider' accent when spoken to, at least until she covers it up with an fake local accent.

Of course, anyone with the capacity to ignore magic might notice the horns sticking out of the sides of her head. Or maybe you bumped into them at some point. Adeline took her job very seriously, it would seem and decided to keep an eye on things by going about as a server using a waiter/server disguise, make-up to cover up her distinct purple scales and an illusion spell to hide her rather noticeable horns.

Regardless, dare you talk to the shifty server?

B WHEREIN ROLLS KEEP FAILING REPEATEDLY (OCCURRING AT 5:12, 6:04 AND 6:35)
So, there was a sliiiight problem when it came to an untrained rookie like her using magic. It has an unpleasant tendency to....backfire a bit. Thankfully nothing TOO horrible happened, but strange events would surround the server at times.
-At 5:12, individuals being shown to their seats by the 'hidden' server Adeline will be subjected to the Psychic Phenomena Warp Echo. For several seconds, the noises and voices surrounding Adeline would echo, as if being shouted into a deep valley. Blessedly, the effect would last only a few seconds.
-At 6:04, anyone unlucky enough to be served by Adeline will get to experience the pleasure of Psychic Phenomena Ethereal Stench, a foul smell that pervades the senses. Thankfully, the server will get the hint and vanish quickly once enough noses are sniffling.
-At 6:35, anyone within 20 meters of the server would be buffeted by moderate winds as this flubbed rolled obtained the effect of Psychic Phenomena Haunting Breeze. No one would be hurt, but papers would be blown about, clothes would be rippled (and maybe even ripped off on daintier wear) and generally loose objects or attire would be flapped and blown about.

C WHEREIN A DRAGON STOPS BEING SNEAKY AND JUST ENJOYS THE PARTY (7:00 PM-MIDNIGHT) [General/Open]
Maybe she got tired of making a fuss, maybe it was a scolding from her boss or maybe she was just not getting the expected result from her 'hidden' observations but eventually Adeline would be seen about in the fanciest clothes she could find that wouldn't tie her up too badly should a fight come out. She would go about the party, mingling with the partygoers, distinctly avoiding crowding the other Schnee Company employees and would avoid talking about the odd occurrences that happened throughout the night at all costs. She would be willing to find a dance partner, enjoy a quiet conversation on the outer rim of the party, and even enjoy the fireworks with a drink in hand.
OOC: No one has to be subjected to the Psychic Phenomena effects but if you choose B, please understand the source of the effect is Adeline and just happens. No lasting harm will come to anyone from them. If you want to talk to Adeline without the disguising, please use Option C

[Yukiko had enjoyed her time. Chilling with people she knew, watching people dance and having a good time with her friends. It was all a good day in her mind and she managed to give some money as well. She felt like it was a good thing to put her money into after all. As she sat down after being on her feet for the past few hours, she placed her hands lightly on her lap.

Her eyes were soon looking around before she raised her hands, seeing another. She thought she might as well say hello to more people, so long as she could remain sitting right now.]

[David hadn't been sure if he was going to come to this thing, but honestly he had nothing better to do. Getting a formal suit was easy enough. He still had one from the last little formal event that he went to here, but he decided to go with something new.

David can be found most places throughout the night. Either sitting and having something to eat or drink or watching people out on the dance floor. He won't be taking off until it was near time for the party to shut down.]

[Hi, David, is your hair still standing upward? If it isn't, then it really isn't difficult for Satsuki to pick you out grabbing a drinnk. If it isn't, well then it's just a happenstance encounter. Either way, the man is approached by the Nova Guardian, adorn in a long-sleeved kimono of blue and black colors. Worn at the back of the neck and on the sleeves are a big button-sized crest each; two of them being family crests and the third a star-symbol of Honnouji. Her hair is up in twin kanzashi (long hairpins). Just normal kanzashi. Don't mind them.

As a bonus she actually looks less annoyed than usual.]

[Izumi wasn't exactly the partying type, and even though she looks like the type to not be easily tempted by the offer of a free dinner, it was one of the main things that made her go. Helping represent G-Corp was another, so she instead of going for a simple litte-black-dress, Izumi is dressed to the nines with an elegant gown. She wasn't communicating with others all that much. She does if she had to, or if she's approached. Mostly, Izumi was observing the event unfold with a glass of that Sauvignon in hand.

She can be found talking to the servers to pass her compliments along to the chef, on the dance floor during slow songs, getting some fresh air, or enjoying the desserts with a smile on her face. With the last one being equivalent to seeing a unicorn.]

[While Izumi was catching some fresh air, Kazuya will be approaching her, eyes cast upward at the stars.]

Izumi, what is your take on this research foundation Schnee is starting? You think they have any chance of accomplishing anything?

Before her performance

[Muse was invited to perform for the gala, but that wouldn't be after the dinner service. The thought of performing for this crowd of people was giving her pre-performance nerves, but in a good way. She and Minako are going to give it their best shot! Her producer even picked an outfit that made her stand out.

In the meantime though, Muse was happily eating some of the delicious food. She tried the halibut and opted out of the alcoholic drinks. But unlike Izumi, Muse is a sociable person. So seeing your character, she would try and start small talk]

The food is really delicious, don't you think?

After her performance

[Now that the big show was over with, Muse could finally feel herself truly relax like a large weight is lifted off her chest. With a smile even brighter than before her on-stage performance, Muse walks to the party and can be found:

[Yuna clapped after the performance. She liked watching others putting on a show and she kind of missed it a tiny bit herself. She was starting to wonder if she didn't carry on her job as the Guardian if she could do something like this. When she saw them she made her way over, happily.]

Krillin wasn't really used to formal events, only ever really dressing up to impress a girlfriend or for the World Martial Arts tournament. Really this was his first formal event and his awkwardness showed. He wore a white suit with a matching hat. The suit itself fit him very well, and if need be would tear like tissue paper if he needed to deal with a threat. However, he was moving around rather stiffly. It was weird to be in this sort of company and he didn't want to do anything to make him stand out, as such, he's most likely to be found hanging around the walls, a drink in one hand, as he scanned the crowd for potential threats.

[Seating/General]

[Galas. One of the most annoying parts of running a company like G Corp. Always rubbing elbows with people who had money, but had gotten it despite being weak always chafed at Kazuya. Still, he was being civil enough when approached, though his displeasure was obvious. He wore an expensive looking tailored suit along with his trademark gloves - something he wasn't going to part with just because of a party. He will be looking fairly bored though for most of the night.]

[GSRF Panel]

[Kazuya will be hanging around the back of the room, writing out a check for a rather large amount of money, or alternatively typing on his device orders to subordinates back at G Corporation HQ. The ability to call people from various worlds and across time was something that he wished to research as well. After all, if he could control that power...]

What's A Party Without a Reporter?

DINNER
Aya's certainly one for a party, especially when it's such a fancy party like this. There's bound to be things she could report on beyond just the party. She's currently dressed like this while wearing a more ornate geta. Her camera and notebook are still present on her (when are they not?) as she sits at one of the tables. She takes her time to take pictures of everyone's meals, choosing the lamb for herself; noting down how the wine seems to work well with the meat as she ate keeping an ear out for any juicy gossip.

GENERAL
Throughout the rest of the event, she'd be around somewhere, mingling between guests, or maybe partaking in a dance or two if anyone asked. She's certainly looking out for the hostess of this Party for a private interview. After all, putting this into her newspaper would generate publicity (hopefully the good kind, Aya).

General

[Hikari was mingling with others, trying to get use to being at a party like this, but she did so with a smile as she got along with them as best as she could.

Seeing another she made her way over.]

ARRIVAL 4:45
Koishi arrived at the party shortly before her sister, dressed in a beautiful several-century-old kimono. It had been impeccably kept and clearly made to fit the energetic little youkai, the sleeves clearing the ground only just. Designed to be worn by satori youkai, Koishi's external arteries had been mostly tucked away and hidden in nearly seamless pockets. They poked out from the back of the obi, leaving enough slack for her third eye to float comfortably in front of her chest.

She lacked the hat for once as her hair had been brushed and painstakingly done up and decorated. A few stray wisps had come loose during her flight, the younger Komeiji brushing them back. Unfortunately having her hair up did draw some attention to her scar, but it was difficult to find things to wear over it that wouldn't irritate it. So uncovered it would remain.

Koishi wandered about before the festivities started, greeting people with a formal bow before attempting to chatterbox their ear off. At least she's trying...

SEATING 5:00-6:00
Trying to get Koishi to sit still for an hour would be impossible. After finding out where the sisters would be sitting, the younger of the two got right back up and began wandering about. Hopefully she wouldn't cause too much trouble.

DINNER/DESSERT 6:00-7:10
The tall, formal tables proved to be a bit difficult for Koishi and she was given a pillow to boost her up a little bit. Despite her love of fish, lamb was a very rare treat and she ordered that with a garden salad. She did have to ask what a Bordeaux was and once it was explained, she had to explain in return that she wanted that over grape juice and that she was probably twenty or more times their age. It's not a party without alcohol. A little sake would really be nice, but alas, there was none she knew of.

For dessert there could only be one choice. The thing she couldn't pronounce but was fairly sure was pudding with pretty decorative yellow sugar on top. The pineapple stars reminded her of a certain black-white's danmaku. Fortunately, she didn't try and throw them. They were too delicious to waste.

SPEECH 7:10
Oh no. Now you've done it Weiss. You've drawn attention to yourself. Hopefully Koishi will get distracted or lose interest before she can hunt you down for another hug.

THE REST OF THE NIGHT 7:30-11:30
Once the speech ended, Koishi wandered off to mingle. She generally stayed away from any speakers as they were very loud, but didn't stray too far. She watched and enjoyed the live performances, staying fairly content and quiet throughout the duration, but once that was over all bets were off.

She spent a little time on the dance floor, a little time drifting around aimlessly, and a little time socializing with anyone that caught her interest. Which was everyone really. Everyone looked so good!

FIREWORKS!!!
Oh no. These things again! Koishi looked up, frowning quite a bit. Fireworks. Gunpowder. Loud, obnoxious, and most of all, boring! Immediately she pulled up her sleeves, palms glowing as she put on a show of her own. The sound of chimes drifted out from under the fireworks display as a multitude of colored spheres and hearts joined the show, raining glowing petals down only to dissolve a short ways before reaching any onlooker. They twisted and weaved in a variety of beautiful patterns, following the pace of the fireworks as they were set off. Koishi didn't want to steal the show too much, after all.

Ginko was brought, naturally, by Koishi. Her own attire didn't seem to fit quite right. It originally was made for a doll and even then, it still was a little too big for the bear. Bears back home were small but Ginko was small even among them; even her human form was on the small side.

After two sisters found their places, Ginko's was right next to them. The distance was short enough that she didn't need a box this time to sit on the chair. When Koishi moved away, she followed if only because there seemed to be no food yet. She's walking on her hind legs and tugs at the edge of her kimono.

Gilgamesh isn't going to be one to avoid a part such as this. Especially when he's a much newer arrival than his competitors for the throne of Fayren. Upon arrival, it's clear to see that Gilgamesh is dressed up, though a little different from the others.

Dinner

Dinner was quite enjoyable for Gil for once. Being able to get a fairly good meal from the lamb and the wine wasn't bad. Even perhaps the company he was with might not be bad depending on how they act. With dessert, Gil could be seen leaning back against his chair, the hazelnut star cup on a plate on his lap as he slowly ate, savoring the taste.

General

When it came to dancing or the like, Gil's not the sort to partake, more to watch and be entertained. Still some of the dances were pretty amusing, so a good mood Gil might be willing to do one dance or another. While during the open mingle though, Gil's first step is to head towards the fundraising area.

"For such a research as this, I believe it is a vital importance to our collective understanding of this world. For that, I do not mind adding a part of my own funds towards this effort." He speaks in a clear, loud voice, a measured tone that would ensure his voice traveled even through the music. Ripples of light appears behind him, seven in total as he holds out his hand, a gold bar falling from each hole to land in his hand and be placed with the panel heading the donations.

From there? Well he's got the rest of the night to mingle. Why not see what he has to say?

Well, Gilgamesh is pretty difficult for Satsuki to not notice for several reasons; the first of course being his generous donation and the other being his complete and utter shirtlessness.

Well, there is one third thing that kind of bothers the Nova Guardian a little, though she can't exactly put her finger upon it. Perhaps against her better judgements she approaches him adorn in a lovely, long-sleeved kimono of blue and black colors. Worn at the back of the neck and on the sleeves are a big button-sized crest each; two of them being family crests and the third a star-symbol of Honnouji. Her is hair up in twin kanzashi (long hairpins). Just normal kanzashi. Don't mind them.

Who's going to shine the brightest this evening? "Well, if it isn't 'King' Gilgamesh." she comments, somehow conveying amusement through her otherwise uncertain expression.

[For this particular event, Karla decided on a change to her usual white apparel, this time sporting a nice black dress. She sits quietly and eats, but won't turn down any conversation if you happen to be sitting nearby.]

8:30pm-11:30pm

[Karla will be dancing alone on the dance floor, her movements matching the rhythm of whatever is playing. She may look and feel awkward, trying to dance without looking like she was practicing her battle techniques, but that's all she knows. Perhaps she'd look and feel better with a partner?]

[Yuna was use to dancing, mostly when she was using the songstress dressphere, but since this was a formal event, she didn't use her grid, instead she wore a suitable gown for the event. As she followed the rhythm she did so with ease. As she came over she knew that they weren't use to dancing.]

1. Dinner
[Mavis arrives at the ball shortly before 7 pm. She's excited about that. She's put on a short black gothic dress and even shoes! Uhm, well, kinda. Let's say she's wearing something on her feet that from afar could pass for sandals although they're not. Her outfit might also remind some people of the Dark Wizard outfit she used to wear a hundred years ago. She even has little black bows in her hair.

She's eying the vegan puff pastry parcels right now.]

2. Dance
[Mavis is waiting on the edge of the dance floor for the staff to be done clearing the table and chairs and for her date (Zeref) to join her. She can see other Fairy Tail members are attending the party too and that makes her very happy.

She has a smile or a wave for every one she knows and that passes her by.]

3. Fireworks
[Mavis is so excited about that part. She's looking at the sky expectantly and claps her hand with genuine happiness every time a flower appears in the sky.]

"Looks like a million fairies dancing in the night sky!"

4. General
[If you want a different time/setting, just say so in the subject of your comment. Mavis is going to be there all night, until her date decides it's time for him to escort her back home.]

{ Zeref can't believe he's about to do this. In any other context, this would not only be unthinkable for him, but a horrible idea; there were too many people here who could fall victim to his Curse, including people who would probably love to pick a fight with him, and at least one person he hopes thinks might like to kill him. But he'd already promised Weiss he'd attend the ball while pledging a good percentage of Tartaros' leftover guild funds to Weiss' research, and if he couldn't go without a date, there was nobody else he'd rather take than Mavis. The other option would be Sayla, of course, but he knew Sayla wouldn't want to be around a bunch of humans other than himself. Or at least... he thought she wouldn't. Besides, in the chance his Ankhseram Black Magic started going out of control, Mavis was one of the few people he knew of who was powerful enough to construct a barrier strong enough to contain it.

Zeref was dressed in a pair of black slacks, and a black jacket with gold trimming, complete with a black bowtie and a white dress shirt. Mavis had picked that out for him; he shouldn't be surprised that she knew his measurements enough to have it tailored. Someone who can gauge the entire fighting statistics of wizards just by watching them for a few minutes should have no problem getting something tailored for somebody she's spent over a century on an island watching from a distance.

What he didn't expect was Mavis expecting him to actually dance with her. In hindsight, he should have; after their last three two dates, casual as they had been, this was much more formal, and probably the first real one they had. And no way was Mavis the kind of person who would let him off without having to be social, and, well, date-like.

Awkwardly glancing about the room to see if the rest of Fairy Tail was planning on causing a shitstorm, Zeref swallowed the lump in his throat, and made his way out to the dancefloor to join her. Gods, when was the last time he did anything like this?

Probably never. He only hoped she knew what she was doing. At least it's a slow song. }

[Yugi so wasn't use to having to wear formal wear, but he managed to find something that fit him. Even though he felt awkward being here, he had made himself because he knew he wanted to help. Though when the dinner game, he can be found trying to figure out how one would normally eat it because he had no clue.]

B) General

[Yugi can be found wondering around, mostly sticking to the wall for the most part, when he did feel brave enough he wondered around, looking to see what else was going on with the others who are around.]

[She gave a small bow before she moved away from the microphone and walking off stage, hoping that there might be people standing on the side that she could greet and hope are fans of hers. But that was mostly in her head that she hoped would happen.]

[Her dress flowed as she walked around the room, her eyes glancing from one person to another as she was trying to think of who to greet first. She wanted to make her rounds, she just hoped she would be able to as she made her move with a smile.]

Being no stranger to formal events, Athrun manages to make himself comfortable. For once, he looks confident as he follows the directions given to him -- though the suit probably helps with the impression.

Throughout dinner, Athrun doesn't talk much without being prompted, but he will prove to be a willing conversation partner should someone strike up a conversation with him. He also seems to be enjoying the food, so there's that.

B: Dance Floor

Here, Athrun looks a tad less comfortable. He skirts the edges of the dance floor, looking for people he's met so far. Which, admittedly, isn't many, as he's been in the process of settling into life here for the past month and a half. Should he find someone he knows, he'll strike up a conversation, and perhaps even ask the women to dance.

She appears far more relaxed than when they had first met.
