Stealing someone's shoe is the opposite of polite. An animal smelling a person is considered relatively normal, even if it's not typically expected at an event like this.

I was going to give it back. [She's a little ashamed, really. She should have thought of that. She hangs her head a little.] Growl... Sometimes I forget that this place isn't like the place I come from.
no subject
Is that somehow acceptable where you come from?
no subject
I meant the sniffing you... Girls don't like bears, after all.
no subject
[ But in that case it's bear murder time. ]
no subject
That's not something that could be said about the girls in my world. Bears are 'evil' so not worth even that much to them.
[And really, what's worse than a bunch of school bullies? A bunch of militarized school bullies with hunting rifles.]
no subject
[ 'Cause she's pretty sure most people don't just assume bears are evil. You know unless they're attacking school children or something. ]

...Eleven years ago, there was a meteor shower. Something happened then but the Church of Kumaria started using that as a sign to start attacking the humans more. It was just a matter of time.
no subject
[ She's fairly certain meteors don't mean anything except that they're meteors. ] I can see why people would be upset.
no subject
I wouldn't know. I was just an orphan, growl growl. [One of many that had been taken in by the Church.]

[She gives as much of a shrug as she can. She's really not judging that hard.] It's not that strange among bears. It's kind of like...an accent for bears, growl? Saying it, I mean. Everyone has their different ways of saying it but it generally means the same thing.

[Now that's rude.]
no subject
It doesn't matter, but it'd be like me saying "huff huff" every time I got mad and crossed my arms.
