[ So, the excitement is over for now, and Lucy -wishes- she could say it was a new experience for her, but no. She was in Fayren, having left a quick note for Erza and Natsu (or caught up with one or the other) on her way out of town to pick her way to a spot to train and see where she was compared to where she had been. But first.. ]

Now that that craziness is overwith- [ Seriously, what was that even about. . .? ]

Is anyone out there handy with construction, or remodeling? My friends and I are going to be in need of some help in that field soon. I'll be here in Fayren, doing some training if you need to reach -

[ She is interrupted by the sudden voice of another young woman, that startles her so much she actually drops her video phone so the following only processes through in audio format ]

"Is it punishment time, Princess?"

Virgo! No, cut it out already! I'm not doing that -!

[ The feed ends there aaand it's probably for the best that way. ]

[ Lucy looked thoughtful, a flicker of mischievousness passing across her face. ]

I guess you're right... of course you'd never be caught unawares by something like that.

[ Or would you! Think fast, she's flicking that whip out with a quick movement to trap an ankle and give it a tug if he doesn't dodge. Which he probably will, to be fair. ]

Of course not that kind of rookie mistake is-

[He picks up on her intent a fraction of a second before she lashes at him with the whip. To her credit though the whip faintly nicks him but it's not even enough to leave a mark.]

Ohohoh you were close that time~

[ Lucy's teasing smirk doesn't fade any, nor does her mischievous devious plan. ]

Hmmhmm, but not close enough! [ She inched a little closer, circling to the side with a sort of lofty, I'm-up-to-no-good air. ]

Or maaaaybe you're just too good for little me! [ Or maybe she just wanted to puff up his ego and trick him into dodging right into the lake once she got him between her and the watery water. ]

Now now. You've definitely gotten better at it.

[Natsu wasn't a fan of her belittling her own progress like that. Combined with her choice of words, yeah he knew she was up to no good even without that look in her eyes. Still he did circle with her until his back was to the lake.]

[ Lucy grinned warmly. Of course she primarily said that just in a teasing manner. She's mostly gotten better about her own progress and not belittling it too. Because Natsu always countered it - even when she was down on herself and thought she'd let her friends down. ]

If I did, it's only because of you. [ Perfect, now if she could trick him to dodging backwards - a terrible trick to be sure but it'd ..uh... serve him right for tossing a lit stick at her? She sent the whip forwards again, moving forward at the same time. ]

[That cheeky grin. That was what distracted him the most. Ever since he saw she was capable he'd secretly admit he loved seeing it, second only to her happy smile.

Even so he was still focused on Lucy keeping his eye on her whip.]

Well if you wanna put it that way I won't deny it. I guess I am a pretty good teacher.

[Now his ego was showing. However he picked up on her incoming attack a second before she launched it so as expected he hopped back, now standing on the very edge of the lake. All he'll need is a small push.]

[ That cheeky grin doesn't go away either - not when Natsu was standing so close to the water, and all she'd need was to get just close enough .. it was just too tempting to push him into the water as revenge. She couldn't possibly resist.

[ She shifted forward, feinting with the whip at his arm, again, easily avoided. ]

Hee, don't get too cocky! I bet I could teach you a thing or two too. [ Like not getting distracted by cute blonde girl's cheeky grins. Once she stepped in range, she moved as if she was going to snap the whip at him again in an attack - but instead she leaned forward to PEER into his face, bringing up her free hand to give him a firm shove. Into the drink. ]

[He knows she's up to something but he can't decode the details just yet. Just that she'll make her move soon. This time he didn't take a step back merely turning his arm away from the whip.]

Oh really, and just what-

[And then she was there right in his face making his eyes widen in surprise. He completely didn't expect that kind of attack and it's just the opening Lucy needs. However she didn't count on his reflexes to kick in the moment the spell was broken. Or else she might have expected him to reach out to try and grab her arm to drag her down with him.]

[ That surprised look - priceless. In fact she was already starting to laugh at his reaction when he grabbed her arm out of reflex. She should have backed away the second she pushed him, but lessons learned! ]

EEK!

[ Her free hand flailed, instinctively latching onto Natsu - as if that would prevent the inevitable. That being both wizards falling into the water with a pretty impressive little splash. ]

G'aha! That's cold -!

[ Fortunately there was a warm body she was on top...of... ...um ...]

[Even though he was pushed in, He can't help but laugh once their heads are both above water.]

As if - haha - I was gonna take the fall alone!

Hmph, no fair!

[ As if she meant those words, the way she was giggling. Lucy for a moment, was grateful she didn't wear a lot of clothing to get all clumped, wrinkles and clingy. Instead she grinned at his laughter, splashing at him with a hand, sloshing away a step in the water. ]

I would have gotten away with it if I had moved back a little faster..!

[Natsu laughed with her her slowly moving his arms on the water surface to say afloat. That is until he thrusts both hands upwards to splash Lucy.]

Better luck next time~

[After a round of splashing they are both soaked and Natsu clambers out of the lake.]

[ And another squeal from Lucy when she defended herself from the splash of water. She yields, she yields! ]

Just you watch your back, I'll get even sometime.

[ Mock threatening. But once she was out of the water, she shivered a little at the cold air. Of course by then Virgo had returned with the swimsuits and towels, and ..well we'd say she looked perplexed but it was Virgo. She took one look at Natsu, then Lucy before holding up the towel. Kids. ]

[Haha the dragon triumphs! As expected!]

I guess I'll have to even though you always have my back.

[And he says that honestly with a beaming smile as he shakes the water from his pink locks. He gratefully takes a towel from Virgo when she comes back and proceeds to dry his hair for a bit before remembering that he's a human drier. ]

Hey Lucy come closer for a bit.

[ Rassin frassin dragon gloaters! ]

And I always will.

[ Just as honest, with as much of a beaming smile, though she ack acks when Virgo 'helpfully' starts toweling her hair vigorously. ]

Hm? What's up?

[ She had had every intention to walk over to Natsu, of course. Virgo just gave her a little initiative with a towelsnap that made her jump forward in surprise. ...well you wanted her closer, right? ]

[Natsu blinks at Virgo's rough way of drying Lucy's hair. Okay that's her hair but she couldn't dry Lucy's clothes as well. That was where he came in.]

I wanted to dry you off before you catch a cold or something.

[And right on cue flames erupt from his body turning him into the human drier he usually could be.]

[ It's typical of her spirit to not try to dry Lucy's hair normally. Well, she COULD, but apparently it was more fun this way. ]

Oh..! Good idea.. thanks! [ At least Virgo won't have to go back for a change of dry clothes this way, and Natsu can dry her and warm her up again at the same time. Though she did aside to the spirit after a moment. ]

Water's a bit cold for swimming though, Virgo - sorry you went to so much trouble. [ Going and coming back with a set of swimming attire and everything. ]

[It was more fun yes. Especially now.]

No problem. Don't worry. I won't let the flames get big enough to burn you.

[He looked over to Virgo.]

She can still leave those behind though. It's silly to take them back now that she made the trip. We'll just pack them up when we move into our new place when we get it.

I know you won't. [ Lucy had complete and total faith in his ability to control those flames by now. ]

I trust you.

[ She followed his glance to Virgo, who was busy wishing she had a camera, and possibly devising an evil plan to acquire such a contraption. ]

Yeah, I guess you're right. Let's see them, Virgo?

[ Dutifully, the spirit stepped closer to hold out the two sets of clothing - matching, so they're black with an orange trim and a flame motif on the bottom, with stars printed along the top. She totally planned it. ]

These are really nice..!

"I am pleased you find them satisfactory Princess. And you, Mr. Natsu?"

[ Virgo glanced patiently towards Natsu. ]

[He smiled happily with her trust in him. Nothing better than knowing she could rely on him that much.]

Woah. Those are really nice! Love the detail on the flames!

[She wasn't going to hear any complaints from him. Though the fact that they matched didn't seem to sink in completely. Or maybe he just expected it that way as if it was natural.]

[ Lucy grinned back. She couldn't help it, his smiles were always so infectuous. Holding up the bathing suit against her own body, she whistled lightly. ]

He's right, Virgo, these are really beautiful. Thank you - and thank whoever made these or, wherever it is you got them.

[ Virgo certainly wasn't talking on who was responsible for the outfits, but she did seem pleased by the reactions. The fact that they were his-and-her matching bathing suits had not been lost on Lucy though, as she glanced over at Natsu's suit, then hers. It..was just a coincidence that it was those particular designs, right? Casting a quick look at Natsu, she sternly told her brain to behave itself. Yes, he would look good in it, and yes she could appreciate the sight. There was no harm in that, BUT uh... ]

Think we should head back now?

[This time however she wasn't the only one picturing the other. Natsu on the other hand quickly shook his head to clear it of the image threatening to lodge itself in his mind's eye for the next hours to come. Virgo's choice was having effects to say the least.]

Well I guess we should. Unless you wanna do more training.

[ She totally picked it specifically for that reaction. Orders from Plue, we're sure. ]

Hm... well, do you have something in mind?

[ She glanced towards Virgo, thoughtfully. Might not be training with her whip, but she always did say she needed to train with her spirits just as much. ]

[Undoubtedly. He was such an evil mastermind.]

Well we've had plenty of sparring with your whip. Maybe Virgo is up for teaming up with you against me?

[ The most evil. And cutest. ]

Hmm. What do you say Virgo? [ She grinned. ] Shall we team up against Natsu?

"It would be my pleasure, Princess."

[ She strikes a pose. ]

"The loser must accept punishment."

[ Typical. Lucy palmed her face for a second. And then she stepped away a bit to stand with Virgo. ]

RIGHT. We won't go down so easily Natsu, so prepare yourself! [ Playfully Cocky grin is go! ]
