[Ken has been here for a little while, has gone through the documents, tried to make sense of things - but honestly, there was only thing he was really worried about.

Or rather, someone. Someone that he knew was with him shortly before he woke up here.]

[Because he knows that the Digimon was an over protective little digital insect and wouldn't leave him alone unless something happened.

But Ken couldn't remember what that something would be. He sighs before he suddenly remembers the device in his hands and looks down at it, slightly startled to see that it's apparently recording?

Huh.

Well. He might as well take advantage of it, right?]

Ah, excuse me. My name is Ken Ichijouji and I'm looking for a little green worm called Wormmon. I don't suppose someone has seen him?

There's a man, he recently kidnapped a bunch of children and implanted them with something that was native to the Digital World. It's going to make them smarter, better at sports, but in return, it makes them a shadow of the person they are.

[ He really hopes the fact that he speaks from experience isn't coming through in his voice, but the fact that he's speaking of this without letting his voice tremble is a positive sign. ]

I'm not entirely sure what his plan, I don't think any of us are, but we're going to stop him.

That doesn't sound very nice. Those poor children.

[Not even she could make heads or tails of it right now really, why would someone do that? What was the purpose of it.]

Then I will hope that in the future that will be the case. That you'll all stop him.

Yes. They might think it's great as I'm sure their parents will in the beginning, but it's not worth the price paid. I've seen it happen before.

[ Experienced it before, more like. ]

[ And they have Determinator Daisuke as their leader. How can they not? ]

What happens anyway?

[Doesn't sound nice, but does't know what exactly the downside really is.]

Of course. Though guess I'll have to find out myself when I can.

They become cruel, everything and everyone is beneath them. It can change a child of kindness into one of cruelty.

[ THAT's a bit closer to things then he wanted to admit, but... ]

That is really bad.

[Why would anyone want that is any ones guess really.]

Then I really hope that it gets sorted.

[ Because Ken wanted some thing in life he felt he had control of. Too bad in that in the end, it was using him. ]

I do too. I don't wish that experience on anyone.

[She paused for a moment. She didn't know what else to say about that subject for the most part.]

I wouldn't either, but for now... You're here which makes me wonder are you planning on staying at the chldrens home?

I think that I'll have to - I don't have anywhere else to go.

Well, you can always stay at my place, though you would have to deal with some of my pokemon.

You have one of them too?

[ Since he just talked to Sakura and all. ]

Are you sure, Hikari-san?

I have four.

[All of which are really well behaved thanks to training and kindness. Helps that she has looked after pokemon before with pet sitting.]

I'm sure, I mean it's just me after all if you don't include the pokemon. It gets lonely.

I doubt I would mind them.

It might make it easier even.

[ Because, well, Wormmon. ]

We wouldn't want that.

[ Besides, he's pretty sure Daisuke would smack him if he let something happen to Hikari. Her being the proper age or not. ]

[She smiled slightly.]

Well I was hoping it would make things easier. [Although her pokemon would be really excited to see someone new anyway.]

... I think it would.

[ It takes Ken a lot to admit that, but even if she isn't the proper age, it's still Hikari. She's one of his friends, and someone who understood him better then most, at least when it came to the darkness.

This Hikari might not know that, yet, but she's still the same Hikari. ]

Do you want me to come find or would you just like to know the address?

[Because she figured either way would be a good idea.]

.... I'm not entirely sure what I am.

[ Does he look a bit sheepish? Because he does.

If Daisuke were here, he'd probably be laughing at the former genius right about now.

As it is, there's a bit of red on his cheeks as he flushes somewhat, embarrassed. ]

Then do you remember where the Bay is? I'll meet you there. it should be easy enough to find you there.

[She was already moving anyway, so she figured it wouldn't take her too long.]

That's not too far from here, I don't think.

[He nods.]

I'll be waiting then.

[She nodded slightly as she started to head off, switching off the feed. It really didn't take her long before she came around and waved slightly.]

Hi, nice to finally see you in person.

[ As soon as she cuts the feed, Ken pockets his own device, making his way back towards the Bay to wait for Hikari. It doesn't take long of course, and he raises his hand in a greeting of his own as she approaches, before giving a small bow. ]

You as well, Hikari-san.

[ Even if it's a bit weird, considering that they were the same age and now they're not. This was going to take some getting used to. ]

[She just smiles slightly, it was odd to her as well, but in a very different way than what the other thinks really.]

Now follow me and I'll show you where I live.

[As she walks, she had been considering moving due to where her work was after all.]

Ah, thank you, Hikari-san.

[He follows quietly, taking a moment to take in their surrounds before returning his attention back to her, before he asks her a question.]

Have you encountered anyone else from home here?

Ah, yes. Mimi-san is around.

[She got a very similar reaction out of her when she first saw her as well. It was strange on her end.]

But apart from her, I haven't met anyone else.

I see.

[ Which meant no Daisuke, Miyako, Takeru or Iori. His interactions with Mimi-san were rather limited, since the older girl spent most of her time in New York. At least during the time he knew her. ]

Do you know what time she comes from?

[ Is she from Hikari's or closer to his own? ]
