Let's settle this once and for all. Sun Wukong was a thief. However, he is also a good person and has taken that know-how and turned it into a viable business in Fayren and can now support himself with that. He's more mature than he once was even if he's still a dumb teenage boy sometimes and he still needs to apologize to Satsuki Kiryuin for physically pointing a weapon at her at a peaceful gathering as well as drudging up the past about a situation she clearly developed from and worked to improve upon.
Satsuki Kiryuin needs to apologize to Sun for treating him with disrespect regardless of whether it was rooted in his own stupidity at the time or of a discriminatory nature instead of explaining the matter he was mad about like a mature adult. She also needs to apologize to the public for using his accusations- which, by the way, were made without consulting me first and I would've told him to speak to Satsuki privately with a mediator present- to waste the public's time trying to explain how she deserves redemption for her actions but he doesn't, despite that they've both come a long way from the people they once were.
I'd personally like to apologize to everyone who's had to watch either side of this bickering. Vote for who you think would be a better leader and protector of this city, not who can dig up the oldest, most out-of-date information possible about someone who isn't even a candidate.
Now: Does anyone have any questions about what any of the candidates are actually bringing to the table?
{ OOC NOTE: Public response to Sun's post and Satsuki's post, since she's already involved. }

[ She doesn't even mean it as an insult for once, she's just pretty sure it's a fact when it comes to Ruby. ]
I'm.. fine. I wish Sun would stop making this about bringing down Satsuki. I actually would like to make a difference and his choice to give into her taunts with zero current evidence immediately after I said I'd like to have an election without negative campaigning against Satsuki is actually getting in the way. I know he's trying to help and I know he really doesn't want Satsuki to win again but I was hoping to actually build something based on teamwork. Honestly? From the sounds of it, this all started because Satsuki insulted him the same way I did when I first met him, except she did it based on him being a thief instead of a Faunus and she doesn't know when to quit and apologize.
[ She's only telling Ruby this because it's a private conversation. Otherwise she wouldn't be complaining about how much Sun's fighting for this. She understands why it's important and she knows it's selfish to want him to stop just so she won't look bad. It's still hard on her though, so even if Ruby probably stopped paying attention halfway through what she was saying at least she can say it. ]

[She steps in, making sure the door closes behind her.]
Look at it this way... he likes you. And considering how you met... and how we found out Blake was a Faunus, I'd say we've all come a long way. I haven't met this Satsuki person, but... just from what I've seen on the comms, I don't think anyone has the whole story, her or us. Maybe we should all just... sit down and talk it over?
[Because sharing cookies and milk fixes everything. Obvs.]
Re: [Action]
[ Honestly, Ruby's solution would just end with one of them dead considering that Weiss is fairly certain neither of them will apologize first. ]
And I already discussed with her some reasonable solutions, which she said she would consider just before she released her last public monologue about how terrible Sun is. I stopped acting horribly toward Sun once I realized I was wrong, even if he still does some things that bother me. I even apologized! [ As much as Weiss apologizes for anything. ] I need to try to speak to Sun, but honestly? I don't think he should be forced to keep quiet when he has concerns about a candidate. It's the peoples' job to speak up when they believe something is wrong as long as they do it in a peaceful manner- the only time he was entirely out of line was when he pulled a weapon on her.
[Action]
What kind of person is Satsuki? I know next to nothing about her. What's your take on her?
[Because understanding what they're up against is the first step to figuring out a solution, right?]
[Action]
She's a good person, she's strong, and she wants to protect this place. But she's not very good at adapting unless she isn't given another choice and I think she's keeping secrets.
[Action]
Sorta sounds like someone else I know. But if that's the case though, she's got a lot of potential. Just like the person I'm thinking of.
[Action]
Except I'm not very good at keeping secrets and far better at dealing with criticism.
[ Well except for like. One or two secrets. But to be fair one isn't hers and the other is just something that hasn't come up yet. ]
[Action]
Well, now yeah. You've changed a lot, for the better. Still, it's okay to have secrets. I've got a couple of my own, so does Yang, and Blake. We've all got something we want to keep for ourselves... and I know that you'll tell me if something relevant comes up, just as I would you.
Just remember, you're not alone, Weiss. We've got your back.
[Zwei gives a little woof as in agreement.]
[Action]
[ There's a brief pause, before Weiss adds, crossing her arms. ] Plus, she keeps trash-talking Sun because she doesn't know how to defend herself without tearing him down. He's practically a part of our team, she's not allowed to talk about him like that.
[ In Genessia, Weiss is pretty sure it's Team RWBYS. They've adopted Sun, he's theirs now since he doesn't have his own team here. ]
[Action]
[She shrugs a bit.] I don't know what to make of her personally... it's almost as if she's always at war with the world. Maybe it's something about her world or something... But yeah, I agree with ya. He's part of team RWBY now, whether he likes it or not.
[Action]
[ They should hold tryouts for Sun's new guyfriend. ]
[Action]
Yeah, can't be easy being here without his team... I mean if I showed up without you, Yang, and Blake... I'd kind of be at a loss as to what I should do.
[Action]
[ He went and bugged her at work when she was alone and working at a pizza shop and pretty depressed about not having anyone from her team there at the time. She appreciated it more than she ever let on. Probably more than she ever told Sun, really. ]
It's really not preferable to be here without your team.
