Okay, so, I've gotten the whole spiel about other worlds, the cities, blah blah blah. I just have three questions.
First off, does the name Sparda mean anything to anyone here? Usually when weird shit happens to me, it's usually tied back to him.
Second, how high in demand are a Demon Hunter's skills here?
And lastly, I'm gonna need a good pizza joint's address. Preferably one with a bar.
[Dante will be just wandering around Genessia, probably turning a few heads with the massive sword and handguns holstered in plain sight. He has no destination and as such is just aimlessly exploring, looking for landmarks to help get a feel for the layout of this strange new place.]

And yet, two people have already told me that's where I should be hunting. Sounds like someone doesn't want me finding something.
[He's just going to casually take Ivory out of its holster, spinning it on his finger.]
action;
[He narrows his eyes, looking at Ivory. Of course he doesn't want Dante to find anything. Cipher wants to have his meals in peace, dammit.]
Yes, that is an impressive weapon. Are you threatening me with it, or are you just showing off?
action;
Doesn't matter what the motivation is. If there's demons to be hunted, and there's money in it, that's where I go.
[He looks at the gun in his hand, spinning it before shrugging.]
That's up to you. Should you feel threatened?
action;
[Normally he's more careful about this kind of conversation, but knowing there's a hunter around - especially one that is definitely not human - is a great concern. If anything, he's trying to make it appear that he's willing to side with 'friendlier' demons. He stops shuffling the cards, plucking the first one from the deck and glancing at it calmly.]
I've no reason to be. It is only a gun. What is your name, hunter?
action;
Demons that behave themselves don't get bounties put on their head, unless someone is trying to capture demons for their own devices. I can smell them a mile away though.
[He snickers a bit, spinning Ivory again and slipping it back into its holster.]
Just a gun, he says. Name's Dante. What about you?
action;
[Except Everglade really does need policing, but Cipher is more than happy to consume humans and monsters alike there, so he'll think the exact opposite in that regard. He doesn't want this hunter anywhere near the place.]
What, is there something special about it? It looks like any other gun to me. [He tucks the cards into his jacket's inner pocket and leans forward.] I am Liam Randel.
action;
[He sighs, shaking his head and putting both hands on his hips.]
If there's one thing I've learned in this line of work, it's that nothing is "just" anything, and nothing is as simple as it appears to be. Especially card sharks.
I'll keep that in mind, Liam.
action;
[He scoffs. He's really not going to like if this guy starts hanging around Everglade. He'll have to watch over his shoulder constantly. A slight smirk does come to his face.]
You saw right through me, huh? That's a shame. I won't ask if you would be interested in a short game then.
[So long as the card sharking is the only thing he sees through.]
action;
[He shrugs again.]
Call it a lucky hunch. Easier to assume the worst and be proven wrong, than to be taken advantage of. I'm surprised you admitted to it though. Most people would deny they were hustling.
[Kind of hard to tell just how much Dante knows at times. He likes it like that.]
action;
[And he's honest about that one. It's why he went to war with his home world's deities in the first place. He chuckles, propping his chin in his hand.]
One man knowing what I do won't hurt. There are five cities and plenty of others to play a friendly game of cards with, after all.
[Yeah. "Friendly."]
action;
[He shrugs, starting to walk on as he makes a waving gesture with one hand.]
Yeah, good luck with all that. I'm off in search of a good pizza and beer.
action;
I'm sure this won't be our last encounter, Dante.
[He says that casually with a slight smirk.]
You may want to check Geraldi's Pizzeria. I don't know about the alcohol, but you'll at least find the pizza here in Genessia City. ... assuming they ever found their cook. I read he went missing for a few days in an older paper.
